Plugin - MQ2Mage (1 Viewer) 3.1.52471.11

Read through the commands and not seeing what I amlooking for, Is there a command or toggle to tell MQ2Mage (and MQ2Enchanter) to NOT summon a pet? Or an ez way to block them from being able to summon a pet?
Call me curious... but, what's the purpose behind not using a mages pet?

There are a few events and achievements where pet's are not desirable, it's pretty situational, 99% of the time pet's are no problem, it's just those instances where they wreak havoc would be nice to be able to toggle them off. Was hoping there was a slash command or perhaps a way to insert a NULL into the PetType drop down on MQ2Mage

yeah unfortunately for pet classes, that isn't something we're going to provide an option for

Not ideal, but for those rare occasions you could BYOS without RS pet memorized, turn off "UseSwamPet", turn off "CombatSummonPet" and then manually suspend your pet when the event is underway.
 
Is the mage supposed to hand out jolt weapons? I thought it was summoning new sets before then, but I noticed it happen last night.
 
It's equipping the Shadowrought Mindmace.

EDIT: it's repeatable. Kill pets until you only have the jolt and rage weapons left, and it does it.

Believe the question/answer was misunderstood.

Yes we hand out Jolt weapons.
We do not hand out weapons that directly generate threat (Rage), but we do hand out weapons that reduce threat (Mind).
 
Question: Melee Radius

Ive been messing around with the "StickHow" option but regardless what i do or set it all the melee classes just wasts to go from behind which is fine with me. But is there any way that we can set the distance so they dont look like 3 characters in 1 position or have certain classes just attack from the side or front? i cant even have my beast lord attack from the front?

yes, adjust your stickhow. I merged your post into the stickhow stuff.

you can change any of them so you can customize everything if you need/want.

trying to "not look like you're botting/boxing" is a fool's errand imo - the same 6 toons running around all at the same time doing all of the same stuff in 2022 is almost certainly someone boxing/botting - and people who report for "sus" don't care, and aren't going to be like "ah, well this lad looks like he's alt-tabbing"

always check the sticky first, as there are probably posts/guides/info for most things you're looking for.

Please consider to run "/pet qattack" in addition whereever "/pet attack" is used. If possible not only for mages but all classes able to use swarmpets.
Motivation: When camping for nameds, I noticed that swarmpets from last mobs are standing around, where they might could help to save some mana / improve groups dps.
For serveral classes mana seems the limiting factor.
 
Is it possible to use these in the inventory before summoning the pet armaments when doing pet weapons?

and I am getting a message saying "There are no heroes here...well maybe one." I tried the spell and the AA with the same results. Any ideas what is that about (I have pearls in inventory just in case)
 
Please consider to run "/pet qattack" in addition whereever "/pet attack" is used. If possible not only for mages but all classes able to use swarmpets.

we use /pet swarm - not qattack, but yes, we do use swarm

this means you can't CoTH in this zone/area - this is EQ - this is not mq2mage.
 
I'm curious as to why this does not cast Diabo's Heirlooms and hand out the jewelry pieces; Diabo's Linked Bracelet, Diabo's Jade Bracelet, Diabo's Rigied Earhoop, Diabo's Gold Ring.
Noob Mage, am I doing something wrong? I did a Search on this thread for "Diabo's Heirlooms" before posting and saw no previous posts about this. Thanks in advance for any pro-tips!

A. We currently only summon pet weapons and things like modrods, paradox, and item clickies. We don't summon armor, jewelry, muzzles, etc.
 
Autodismount is the first checkbox of the options, if I remember well. Uncheck it, if you want it to be disabled temporary, you can use the command to disable it by default.
 
two mages on MQ2mage, far as i can tell they have the same settings, BYOS off, yet they have completely different spellline ups and will not fix it. No idea what I messed up.

pause it - unmemorize your spells, unpause it. it will try and put them where they're supposed to be - that's it - will memorize what spell it says it has

if it isn't memorizing it means one or more of the following: invis without a camp, byos/byoscustom, mobs on xtarget

your two images aren't very useful - it is more useful to say what spells they actually are and in what slots - that first image does not look like anything that it should be - as in, things mq2mage doesn't load

Had problem for 3 days, but as soon as i asked the question, i unloaded the plugin and reloaded it and it fixed itself...
 
Looking for help setting up the settings toggles. Group has 2 CWTN Mages one mage is 115 other 120. I don't plan on purchasing Xpac for 115 mage so he is capped. Any suggestions on what to use on each as to not be wasting mana and time.
Disclaimer I am no Mage expert CWTN plugin has leveled these for me.

I modify the settings for my MQ2mage every time I log on but it reverts when I log off. Is there a way to save the settings I like? Also, my mage is the only toon in my team that does not auto drop invis when the main assist goes into combat. How can I solve this?
