Plugin - MQ2Enchanter (1 Viewer) 3.1.52471.11

I have been noticing that when the enchanter plugin needs to mez, sometimes it goes a little haywire. These are both on the zlandicar mission just to see what happened with some dots and then i noticed it doing some weirdness of chain casting mezzes. The left one is on a BYOS with mezmeric stare replaced with preplexing constriction in slot 4... the one on the right is the standard spell lineup. As soon as i got an add, it started chain mezzing it. It was mezzed, no resists. I had tash before mez on and it was mezzing and then tashing then it would start chain mezzing.

for awareness, this parse was just a warrior and an enchanter beating on zlandicar for like 5 mins to see what the enchanter was doing. cleric and shaman healing. There was only 2 broken mezzes during this fight, once with a ramp and once with a proc that triggered off chaotic puzzlement. Something i need to look into.

Well. We use animations to check for mezz state, sometimes mobs don't do the mez animation so we don't think they're mezzed.

Would need to know the mob, their idle animation, and their mezzed animation.

for all mezzes we say "do we have any xtargets that we don't think are mezzed", for "TargetRingAEMez" we then say "is this spell ready, do we have more than 2 xtargets, can we cast this spell on this mob, ok, then cast it"

so for us to get to that point we would have to think the mob is not mezzed.

You also sound like you might be confused about chaotic usage on war target. Did you read and comprehend the usage of chaotic with "use chaotic"

it was casting mez on single adds. in this case it was a charmed chekaki that was agro on my tank and i was ignoring.
 
I talk about loving all the CTWN Plugin. But in my book this Plugin is special. This toon saves me constantly with mezzes. I use a Hunter tank PL group now in UP with a very small area. And the Chanter may be more important than the DPS. in fact It is. I put two Rogues out there to kill fast. One with All AA maxed the other with shiny new NoS weapons. No chanter. The group killed fast but also died fast. The Chanter Plugin isn't just cool, I'd say it's as good as the Sk, Necro, Pally or BST which are my faces along with the Mage. But I have loke 10 or 12 and love them all it's really like having a favorite child. Get this Plugin.
 
Sic, I have run into an issue recently. I have Bard running on kissassist, SK, Shm, Bst and Enc on plugin. Recently, the Chanter (level 111) crashes randomly with this message. It happens usually within about 15 minutes. Any ideas? I am sure it's me. Only been happening within the last 3-4 days.

Shes in chase mode, happening every 5 minutes atm. everyone else is 120.
 
we don't recharm the same pet - we check xtarget and try and pick the best mob (highest level)

you should have a hygiene chat with your chanter if it isn't washing (i assume you mean tash, which we don't currently do, but could be an addition some time on)
I'd love the ability to setup an x-tar marker like /mark 1 or something on a pet, and then the chanter would re-charm that pet if it ever breaks. Any time I get a pet my mage goes wild giving it goodies, the group buffs the pet up, only for it to get slaughtered a few pulls later.

No. But if you checked the updates you will see we now try and recharm a mob if we had it charmed previously
 
Is there a way to not lock down the pet? Even on manual, the pet is constantly set to back off. I have to spam click attack for him to attack and then he says sorry, backing off over and over. If I'm in manual mode, I'd like my pet to attack if I get attacked. The same issue exists for the mage. I accidentally left myself logged in all night, thankfully in a lower area, and things would die to my damage shield but not my pet.

I'd check your camp settings.

Well back your pet off if it is outside your camp somehow (like you don't have pet discipline, and it autoran to a mob)

It's not going outside a circle though. It's standing next to me while I get beat on, doing nothing. I spam for it to attack and it keeps backing off. I'm sorry, I'm not sure what I'm supposed to be looking for. Chanter is lvl 94 for what that's worth. I could only find the 1 camp setting showing the radius. What else should I be checking?

Sounds like you either need to set yourself as mt/ma, or assign the character who is.

Ah. Usually I have a full group but I had myself sitting at a spawn watching for it. Does it matter if the rest of the group is in the zone?
 
I made a Chanter with the intention off them being a buff dummy. But I bought this damn Plugin. Now I can barely get the bastard out of my number 1 group. My number 1 Necro when I bought the Plugin has become my number 2 Necro because the former number 1 is on the chanter account. What the hell are they going to do next come out with a Druid Plugin Or something:)
 
Chanter plugin is def my fav thus far as it rocks! And I think it's a conspiracy. They're trying to get you to replace all of your group 1. Next thing you know after the druid you'll make a wizzy :P
 
Quick question, how do I get Mana Rebirth to be cast when in combat? I am guessing because its a buff, wont be cast in longer fight? Like in Raid mode..

we don't memorize and cast buffs in combat.

i might be willing to consider changing this so you'd recast it if you were byos and had it memorized already, but no, we don't (and aren't going to) sit and memorize this in combat - it is a 30s reuse 2m buff
 
It is always on my spell list, and gets refreshed when in group, because puller is running out and it will rebuff. But when in a raid environment it is still memorized, but not being cast. Kind of a wasted spell slot or waste of not adding dps, not sure which hehe..

well you can toggle it off (in which case it would be a blank spot you can put whatever you wanted in it, as currently we don't replace it with anything if toggled off. checking and rebuffing single target buffs in combat is a huge take away from doing other necessary stuff, but i'll take a look / give it a think
 
This is my last addition to my group. Currently have all of the group fairly current with armor. This particular character basically is still in her heroic armor and she is level 110. What is occuring when I pull several with tank or several come, she is the first to die. Subsequently the rest of the group follows. Priority wise, I need your confirmation- bump her up to snowbound armor, secondly have her engage at 99. I believe I have her at the default setting of 98. I believe per one of Sic videos , he runs his team all at 99 , I guess follow his lead especially on CC character .
