Well. We use animations to check for mezz state, sometimes mobs don't do the mez animation so we don't think they're mezzed.I have been noticing that when the enchanter plugin needs to mez, sometimes it goes a little haywire. These are both on the zlandicar mission just to see what happened with some dots and then i noticed it doing some weirdness of chain casting mezzes. The left one is on a BYOS with mezmeric stare replaced with preplexing constriction in slot 4... the one on the right is the standard spell lineup. As soon as i got an add, it started chain mezzing it. It was mezzed, no resists. I had tash before mez on and it was mezzing and then tashing then it would start chain mezzing.

for awareness, this parse was just a warrior and an enchanter beating on zlandicar for like 5 mins to see what the enchanter was doing. cleric and shaman healing. There was only 2 broken mezzes during this fight, once with a ramp and once with a proc that triggered off chaotic puzzlement. Something i need to look into.

Would need to know the mob, their idle animation, and their mezzed animation.
for all mezzes we say "do we have any xtargets that we don't think are mezzed", for "TargetRingAEMez" we then say "is this spell ready, do we have more than 2 xtargets, can we cast this spell on this mob, ok, then cast it"
so for us to get to that point we would have to think the mob is not mezzed.
there are soem mobs like "green legion overseer" in vergalis mines uses 112, or "an icy mimic" with animation 17
You also sound like you might be confused about chaotic usage on war target. Did you read and comprehend the usage of chaotic with "use chaotic"
Q. Why does it cast Chaotic on the mob we're fighting?
A. We use Chaotic for purposes of the twincast it gives.
If you don't want it to use Chaotic you can /enc UseChaotic off

I'd love the ability to setup an x-tar marker like /mark 1 or something on a pet, and then the chanter would re-charm that pet if it ever breaks. Any time I get a pet my mage goes wild giving it goodies, the group buffs the pet up, only for it to get slaughtered a few pulls later.we don't recharm the same pet - we check xtarget and try and pick the best mob (highest level)
you should have a hygiene chat with your chanter if it isn't washing (i assume you mean tash, which we don't currently do, but could be an addition some time on)

I'd check your camp settings.Is there a way to not lock down the pet? Even on manual, the pet is constantly set to back off. I have to spam click attack for him to attack and then he says sorry, backing off over and over. If I'm in manual mode, I'd like my pet to attack if I get attacked. The same issue exists for the mage. I accidentally left myself logged in all night, thankfully in a lower area, and things would die to my damage shield but not my pet.
We don't need to see any of this. It doesn't provide useful information in this circumstance.Not sure what I'm missing...

If your pet chases after a mob outside of your camp, we'll ask it to back off. This is meant to help before classes get the discipline to allow pet holding/greater holding

Sounds like you either need to set yourself as mt/ma, or assign the character who is.

that is the same as not having one, correctI meant more along the lines of if I had a MT/MA but they were out of the zone but I'm guessing that's the same as not having one.

we don't memorize and cast buffs in combat.Quick question, how do I get Mana Rebirth to be cast when in combat? I am guessing because its a buff, wont be cast in longer fight? Like in Raid mode..
well you can toggle it off (in which case it would be a blank spot you can put whatever you wanted in it, as currently we don't replace it with anything if toggled off. checking and rebuffing single target buffs in combat is a huge take away from doing other necessary stuff, but i'll take a look / give it a thinkIt is always on my spell list, and gets refreshed when in group, because puller is running out and it will rebuff. But when in a raid environment it is still memorized, but not being cast. Kind of a wasted spell slot or waste of not adding dps, not sure which hehe..
