MQ2Bst now uses MQ2CWTNBuffs and not mq2kissbuffs

MQ2Bst -
- Added timer 11 "Roar" to be used when you have UseAoE toggled on.
- Additional improvements to alliance.
-- Will memorize in slot 13 now (meaning you will need to be 106 with Mnemonic Retention to 5 to automemorize it when you have UseAlliance on)
-- This stops the stupidity that is putting alliance over a dot gem.
-- If the mob you're fighting has an alliance debuff, we will ignore our mob...

nope no clue. it should only do it if they don't have the buff and it stacks (or it is "bettter"). will look into it as there are some beastlord specific mq2 stuff with buffs where it just may be returning that it is better when its not

I saw no clue, but i actually did see some similar behavior with a spell earlier today from cleric - so I'll get with chat and see if we can sort it out

nah its definitely an issue and not your fault or whatnot we'll get it fixed up

So i have noticed my Beast wont load any of my raid spells, he only loads the rank 2 variant. If i go into BYOS mode and force load the raid level spells he wont cast them at all. Is this already known or something i am missing. I have tried both enabling and disabling the /bst RkIIPurchase feature. He is a gold account if that matters.

sorry for the troubles - was a reworking of how we handle checking spells in our spell book

but its an issue we fixed today - we're actually going to replace the file for you here in just a minute (check the updater in maybe 5-10 and shoul be good to go)

don't click the rk II purchase - that has nothing to do with that and you shouldn't click that unless you have the rank II unlocker from the marketplace and are silver

no, but why is it not able to complete it? can you give some more example?

endregen only happens in downtime - we could also put a check that you don't have any xtargets as well i guess

getting rezzed mid combat seems to be what triggers the "loop". Spams the ever living hell out of me with the "cant do this in combat" message.

currently having an issue that started tonight, the last 6 or so spell gems won’t load any spells on its own, BYOS will fire them off but they won’t if it’s off.

I have BYOS off.

in assist mode the last spell it loads in assist mode is restless lance rank 2, the last 6 spell gems it will not load. I clicked them off to see if they will reload and they stay empty

Solved!

Pet still had an old Velocity buff on it, so when it went to check it was seeing it didn't have the new velocity, but was holding off since it had the old one - i'll check into these specifically since i've found other weirdness with stacking and velocity lines.

but tl;dr clicked off old buff and back to business.

that's a good question. need to ask yourself is it more important for your setup for higher burn dmg, or higher avg damage during other situations? My personal recommendation is make sure you get the mnk/bst 1h and h2h weapon, and mnk/bst 2h weapon.

since i group, I would personally do the 2hander first lol for big bada boom --- but it really depends on what you want to focus on

for me personally pet ear > 2H > other weapons

other folks and raiders might have some deeper insight - but if i had a juicy pick i would 100% get that ear --- cause that's full time

Ear 100% 1st buy always. 2h is a good second choice simply because you can use 1 ore to replace "both" slots. Though in a long duration parse (like a group grind) last I saw duel wield still edged out slightly. With that said neither is a bad choice. 2h just quicker to get if you can't reliably get raid drops and your working with limited resources.

My FocusedParagonMana setting is set to 80. There are many times my Beastlords mana is less then 80, regular Paragon is on cool down, and the BST will not use Focused Paragon despite it being up and my mana is less the 80. I have no problem with the BST using regular Paragon of Spirit, he just rarely or never uses Focused Paragon when he is supposed to.

can you give some more context? is not not using it on you at all? or just using it on others? You will need mq2cwtnbuffs loaded on your group members, it is also checking for stacking and such.

testing a few different threshold mine appears working as expected

I then cleared all buffs and turned off all songs from the Bard and re grouped the Bard and the Beast again starts to cast Spiritual Insight. So I figure I can block this spell. I block the spell buff and it looks very different from the cast buff. Not sure if this is adding to the issue or is the issue. This just started happening so not sure why. in the mean time can you do me a favor and go into your release folder and find your barddude_buffs.ini and delete that file? and let the mq2cwtnbuffs re-write it and see if that resolves it.

we're seeing an issue where if eq/mq2 doesnt close properly the buffs file doesn't get emptied correctly, and if you log back in, and the cwtnbuffs isn't loaded BUT there is still a populated buff file, it will try and buff you - we have some safeguards for this in a future update --- and this might be unrelated, but give that a shot for the time being. I'm hoping they are just coincidences and the reason its the same buff is because it is early in the buffs check.

couple things.

the plugin doesn't use eqbc at all to communicate - it is checking that local buffs file - currently we don't have an elegant way of handling buffs across your network.

if you had a populated file that was out of date, then it would try and buff you - which is why we're adding some safeguards on how "fresh" the buff information is and comparing that to what we expect the buff information to be - so if the buff info is old, then we ignore it until its updated.

Unfortunately, we originally overlooked that crashing or inelegant exiting of the game could make it so plugins don't always get to complete their ini deletions - this buffs timer will fix that up
