Q. Why am I not buffing anyone?
A. Currently, we use mq2cwtnbuffs to track everyone's buffs - you will need to have this plugin loaded on all the characters for the bst to know what buffs they have/don't have/blocked so it can buff them. You will also not want to be in BYOS. MQ2CWTNBuffs requires characters to be local characters (same PC, not across network or space/time).
Q. Bst is chain casting something?
A. There are a few lower lvl / mid level buffs that eq/mq reports stack that do not, or will chain overwrite other buffs and you get into a buffing contest with another toon. You either have this situation or some other issues. I would suggest checking for the red error text that eq gives you to tell you WHY it didn't successfully take hold and then go from there. You can block anything you don't want cast.
This is a built-in everquest feature - right click on the buff and "add this spell to list of blocked spells" or go through the eq menu -> character -> blocked buffs.
EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Buffs
EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Pet Buffs (to add to anyone's pet blocked spells)

This is particularly a problem with the focus line, especially if you have a large level gap between the bst and your cleric (particularly if your bst is lower than the cleric) - you can run into issues where mq/eq says that it will stack, but then your armor of line will not actually allow it.
Make sure you understand focus spells cast sub spells, you need to block those sub spells specifically by rank.
Q. I don't want the plugin to cast xyz buff on a toon.
A. Any buff you don't want cast upon someone, you would just have that character add it to their blocked buffs.
EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Buffs
EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Pet Buffs (to add to anyone's pet blocked spells)

Q. Do I need to assign what Xtargets to watch for XTargetBuffing?
A. Nope - Just toggle on UseXTargetBuffing and it will check all your Extended Targets to see if they are PCs and then buff them (they still need to be running mq2cwtnbuffs and be local)
Q. Why does my bst keep recasting Spiritual V line on my cleric?
A. I explain this in the mq2cleric video > HERE <. TL;DR - Spiritual V doesn't stack with yaulp, so when yaulp fades, if you don't have the spiritual V line blocked on your cleric, your bst will say "oh snap, my cleric needs spiritual V" and then when cleric uses yaulp, it will overwrite spiritual V - then when it fades we rinse and repeat.
Q. What is BYOS.
A. BYOS allows you to bring your own spell lineup. This setting also assumes you want to handle your own buffs, since we don't memorize or mess around with your spell gems in any capacity. We will still cast our AA type buffs, but we will not memorize or cast other buffs like we normally would - focus, Inisight etc.
Q. What is BandoSwap?
A. BandoSwap will check your bandolier sets for a 1hb or h2h set (or combo of those), and check if you have a 2h set (it goes top to bottom in the list, no need to name it specifically).
When you are outside of "Vindication" / "DFury" you will keep using your 1h/h2h set, but during Vindication and DFury you will swap to 2h set for that sweet extra damage.
It will not select one with a piercing weapon (you should always use mnk/bst weapons if you can - which are 1hb, 2hb, h2h)
Q. Why am I Not Pulling XYZ mob?
A. Not pulling a mob is almost always an issue either with your Navmesh or your pull settings. If you do a
Q. Pet Pulling?
A. No, we have no plans on doing that.
Q. Paragon?
A. We have options if you don't want to use "Paragon", in case you need to coordinate with your group/raid, but focused paragon will always be used. You can set the endurance/mana values for both Focused and regular paragon
Q. Pet Pull?
A. We do not have pet pulling, and at this time do not have plans to add it.
Q. Growl?
A. Feralgia line gives you a growl, so we default to using Feralgia for the swarm plus the buff
Q. Blood spam?
A. Big Badda Boom.
Q. Slow All doesn't slow all?!
A. Slow all doesn't cycle your xtarget to slow all, its just to "slow all mobs we're fighting"
Q. I don't want to slow.
A. You can toggle off slowall and slownamed.
Q. I am not memorizing slow?
A. Level 90 you get your first Maelstrom spell and you don't get Sha's Reprisal AA until 100, so you have a gap until you get that AA. You can BYOS or BYOS Custom if you want to manually memorize your slow spell until you get that AA.
Q. Mana issues?!
A. Adjust your DotManaMin - this is the lowest mana you want to keep to use your regular dots
Q. Why Does it Keep Playing Possum?
A. We are using Playing Possum for our stuckgem check, if you are not in manual mode and you try and manually cast something, it will likely think you have a stuck gem and try to unstuck it with Playing Possum - if/when eq fixes this bug we will remove the stuckgem stuff.
Q. Focused Clamor of Claws, is lvl 98, but i'm 115
A. DBG has yet to give us an upgrade, they have only upgraded the AoE versions of Clamor of Claws. If/when they give us a higher lvl version it will get added.
Q. Why does it say "less" instead of "fewer"?
A. I also am ending sentences with prepositions! Sometimes I have to resist pedantry otherwise it leads to madness.
Q. Why Spiritual and Spiritual V and not "Unity"
A. it is easier to ensure everyone gets the buffs they need/want using the single version --- for example, I would suggest blocking the Spiritual V line on clerics.
Q. Lower Lvl feels weird?
A. Beastlords are a class that has some weird choices before they get into the "modern" game. Share your suggestions to help with lower lvl stuff in the thread, but keep in mind as with all the CWTN class plugins, they're intended to be the most useful "out of the box" for the broadest group of people.
Q. I can't memorize a spell!
A. Just do a /bst pause on, memorize your spell, then unpause once you're done doing stuff manually. (this should actually no longer be an issue, but leaving here just in case).
Q. I'm memorizing spells in combat?
A. This means you have CombatSummonPet turned on. If you have this turned on you will summon your pet in combat (which requires you to memorize a spell) - it also buffs your pet and returns your gems to the normal spell loadout. If you do not want this, turn off CombatSummonPet.
Q. Why is it using Maul/Mangle over Batter?
A. We have logic in mq2bst to handle what rank of your synergy AA line you have. If you don't have high enough Synergy it is going to use the lower ability to get that sweet sweet synergy proc.
Q. How do I make it do tanky stuff??
A. You will use your tanking type stuff (including taunt) if you are in a tank mode (like 4, 5, 7, or 8), or you are assigned as Main Tank in your group window assignment. If you don't want to do tanking stuff put yourself in a non-tank mode (like 0 manual, 1 assist, etc) and don't be assigned as main tank in your group window. This will allow you to on-the-fly swap to doing tank stuff and non-tank stuff (like if you are off-tanking and need to swap with another tank). You can just quickly adjust your mode, or group assignment. Flow Chart > HERE <
Q. Do I need to add my epic 1.5/2.0 to addclicky?
A. Bst is one of the classes we don't automatically use your epic 1.5/2.0 - there are a bunch of debates as to whether or not it actually hinders a roll for your pet to proc a stun, and at "current game" the benefit of the 1.5/2.0 is pretty minimal as is, and isn't worth taking up a "roll for a stun proc". But if you did want to use it you would add it to addclicky offensive or burn.
Q. Trying to go mode 1 but says I need a mesh?
A. The plugins require mq2nav for movement. You will need to run the mesh updater in your RedGuide's Launcher. Please watch the video > HERE <
Q. I sometimes get stuck in my spell book?
A. This is often due to your background fps not being high enough. It is strongly advised to utilize at LEAST 30 fps for background, recommended 60+ background fps. The fps cycle for eq is where "work" is done. If your background fps is set to "min" you can and will have undesired results with all sorts of automation activities.
Alt-O -> Display -> Advanced - > Max Background FPS
You will also need to check if you are using any external background fps limiting software - like isboxer - and adjust that accordingly.

/bst debugpull on once and it will cycle 1 time and spit out in your mq2 window all the mobs and why you are not pulling them.
