Explore.Mac - An Explorer / Traveler Achievement Macro

Release Explore.Mac - An Explorer / Traveler Achievement Macro 1.3.1

I go off what I'm told for that class. I don't have a necro myself. This is the line that tries to find the lev AA. What value should be present for Necros?

/varset levAbility ${Select[TRUE,${Me.AltAbilityReady[Group Perfected Levitation]},${Me.AltAbilityReady[Perfected Dead Men Floating]},${Me.AltAbilityReady[Shauri's Sonorous Clouding]},${Me.AltAbilityReady[Perfected Levitation]},${Me.AltAbilityReady[Perfected Dead Man Floating]},${Me.AltAbilityReady[Bobbing Corpse]},${Me.AltAbilityReady[Elemental Form: Air]},${Me.AltAbilityReady[Noteworthy Disguise: Blue Drake II]},${Me.AltAbilityReady[Divine Steed]},${Me.AltAbilityReady[Steed of Souls]}]}

Hi :) Started using Mq2 yesterday specifically because of explore.mac :) Unfortunately i have the exact same issue as Farmer217 from this discussion thread right down to the same error message scrolling up my screen about not being able to unload mq2bucles, not even sure i HAVE mq2bucles :( Trying to get this to run using my 113 Shaman so lev/invis/shrink clickies arent theissue. I tried following the repair procedure you specified for Farmer217 (delete denecore and explore.mac) so deleted denecore folder and explore folder and the separate explore file and had launcher reinstall them using both the reinstall and update buttons. Exact same error message. DeneCore and Explore are in the macros folder all denecore file are there . MQ2nav is loaded and as far as i can tell works since it paths me to other zones, displays meshes, etc. I am probably missing something simple but since I'm brand new, these are literally the only 2 macros i have installed other than muleassist, i am at a loss.

could try and ask @Farmer217 if he found out what his problem was

From what I remember and was able to learn from archived PMs, Farmer's Bucles issue was caused by bad installation of MQ2 itself.

I'd suggest starting troubleshooting by seeing if other macros work. If none or very few do, then it's not unreasonable to presume this isn't an Explorer issue, but instead of MQ2 install issue. (Fixing 3rd gear is pointless if the car's on fire. :P )
If most macros work and it's just DeneCore/Explore having an issue, we can look at making sure you have those two macros installed properly.

That should give you / us a starting point to diagnosing your errors.

Well apparently i somehow managed to press the "install MQ2" button incorrectly the first time round since I just deleted the whole VeryVanilla directory, pressed install again and now explore works like a charm :) Luckily I am so new to this that reinstalling didnt hurt me in the slightest. Thank you for your assistance in this matter.

Love the macro. Got to the LDON portion and it's not clicking the "yes" box to leave adventure. It's not your macro as far as I can see as I see the /notify ConfirmationDialogueBox CD_Yes_Button leftmouseup in the MQ window, but it's not clicking yes.

thats an occasional bug you get wit MQ2. Close down and restart PC/MQ2 and it will work.

Use of this has been going well since my earlier, self caused, issues. Couple small points though.
I have run the first few routes(antonica faydweer odus RoK SoV) on multiple characters and have noticed similar issues on each.
Monk has the Mask of Vanishing invis clicky but still insists on buying cloudy potions, is there a way to add this to the list of clickies?
Shaman has lev aa but buys lev potions (though this was before mq2 reinstall so may have beena symptom of my own ineptitude)
Several toons when traveling across velious to dip into Sleepers Tomb get stuck on the pillars outside the door, simple to fix if youre watching but justthought id mention it.
Several chars have got stuck in chardok heading for burning woods and onto veeshans peak. The toons just drop to the bottom of the zone and run at a wall occasionally jumping and ignoring combat with the sarnak around them. /travelto work perfectly to take you to burning woods from the location where they drop but if you unpause the macro when you reach burning woods you just run straight forward leaping again. From this point i have just manually run to veeshans peak and got the explore achievement completed but not sure what the issue is.

1. Mask of Vanishing: There isn't a 'list of clickies'. The code searches for objects, worn or in inventory, that have a clicky-effect, and that effect includes either SPA-12 (Invisibility) or SPA-314 (Improved Invis). Apparently, the Mask doesn't fit that description. I'd have to see the MQ2 item info for it to know why it doesn't qualify or how to make search include it.
`(${Me.Inventory[${intSlot}].ID} && ${Me.Inventory[${intSlot}].EffectType.Find[Click]} && (${Me.Inventory[${intSlot}].Spell.HasSPA[12]} || ${Me.Inventory[${intSlot}].Spell.HasSPA[314]} ))`

2. Lev AA search is below. What AA do you think I need to include?
`/varset levAbility ${Select[TRUE,${Me.AltAbilityReady[Group Perfected Levitation]},${Me.AltAbilityReady[Perfected Dead Men Floating]},${Me.AltAbilityReady[Shauri's Sonorous Clouding]},${Me.AltAbilityReady[Perfected Levitation]},${Me.AltAbilityReady[Perfected Dead Man Floating]},${Me.AltAbilityReady[Bobbing Corpse]},${Me.AltAbilityReady[Elemental Form: Air]},${Me.AltAbilityReady[Noteworthy Disguise: Blue Drake II]},${Me.AltAbilityReady[Divine Steed]},${Me.AltAbilityReady[Steed of Souls]}]}`

3. Which mesh do you have for that zone? Is it the one listed here (https://github.com/BDeakins/DeneCore-Meshes)?

4. Chardok is a PITA for nav code. I did the best I could and the zones were tested exhaustively by Sic. I'll take another look, but first - Verify mesh you're using against the list above.

1) Mask of Vanishing - Effect is called "Invisibility Cloak" not sure if thats covered by your search. ID 1998 on MQ2 tooltip
MoV.PNG
2) Like i said the shaman issue was before reinstall that fixed other issues so was probably just a symptom of that rather than a flaw in your coding just mentioned as an oddity and seems that it was my end not yours since GPL is listed in the checks.

3) Downloaded the meshes you linked there and installed them before I started any runs. 5th char managed to click sleepers alone so intermittent problem which means latency or hitbox issue i guess.

4) I can understand the Chardok thing and my condolences for the hours you must have spent starting at orange lines tring to get some kind of path through. I was more looking for a fix for the jump/runforward/ignore combat cycle that persists through the next zone. The issue occurs like 40 mins into the run so from my end its hard to replicate. Would NOT zoning to BW be better and instead moving to near zoneline and unpausing the macro to allow it to load properly for next zone be better? I ask this so if similar instances occur later on i have a reliable way to get back on track

Also macro asked to report this to you too when trying LDoN route something about zone/boss combination?

[09/27/2020 23:35:01] Missing INI Entry for Miraguls_Menagerie, Boss: , Adventure Text: "It's a cold and strange world in the halls of Miragul's Menagerie. We are looking for good folk to help us learn more about the place. Before you ask if you can assist us, be sure you are of strong mind. The ways of the menagerie are enough to make you mad."

I am a gnome. Is there any way to work around the shrink check?

Also i have the snow griffin saddle and put it into the DeneCore_server_name.ini. Macro still wants to buy levi pots.

Sic and I (mostly Sic, he was my tester) did HUNDREDS of hours, possibly 1000+ of checking the script as gnomes. The shrink check is character-height triggered, so a gnome shouldn't trigger a call to Shrink. What do you mean by shrink check? Maybe I'm misunderstanding.

The Saddle doesn't work as they only zone we need lev in is an indoor zone.

lol yeah - actually the first runs were all gnomes, we ended up getting other folks to come with non-gnomes - just so we could do clean runs first, and worry about fat dudes later

i misunderstood the potions - i thought it was asking shrink potions. It was levi tho. My mistake, sry.

The levi pots are quite easy to make with vendor stuff. Its not a problem anymore.

Thanks for your time :-)

Where is it logged, i couldnt find it.

Also suggestion. If this situation appears, run to the dungeon anyway. I have a feeling its leading to Hidden Vale, my last one missing since more than 30 attempts. i got the missing zone/boss thingy 4 times already. But since its declined, i cant check for myself :-)

While doing Ldon progression - it takes me to east freeport and starts spamming like its trying to talk to an NPC, but I am not standing near anyone. Am I doing something wrong?

LDON in Desert of Ro... please please can you make it path somewhere other than through the undead camps? not an issue of dying... but of constant agro, crap-loot in bags, etc. But yes, this mac is amazing.

Just ran the GoD route this morning. The Mac attempts to target a "Magus_Pellan" in Natimbi , he's actually Magus Pellen. The Macro fixed itself once I manually targeted the Magus.

What does this means:
"Nagafen's Lair, House of Thule (Upper), Upper Guk, and several other zones, the macro will REQUIRE you to have EverQuest in the foreground. If EQ doesn't have focus, the macro will pause and beep at you."

It's happens to me at Nagafne's Lair. It stops and beeps... so how do I set "EverQuest in the foreground" ?

It should be the active window showing on your screen

I experienced the same. Chatted with a friend who just did this, and he advised to navigate to The Commonlands, and start the macro again. The macro navigated me to the NPC and started up again.

There appears to be a mesh of EFP that is different from the one I provide / tested with. It's causing the nav from EFP to NRO to fail and the macro proceeds with the next step improperly. Nav'ing to Nro manually resolves it. I need to figure out what's wrong with the mesh, but have been a little burned out on EQ for a bit.

Just downloaded this today and I'm starting a run through, got caught in a loop in RoK when heading to field of bone it kept zoning back and forth from cabilis east to west endlessly, working fine after I stopped the macro zoned into FoB manually and restarted.

so i grabbed this today to get some exploring done and it says Couldnt open include file then says the macro has ended and unable to add macro line not sure how to fix it any help would be appreciated

You are missing the denecore.inc

1603637649861.png

Q: Why am i getting an error about an include?
A: If you didn't download Denecore.inc you need to. You can "watch" it > HERE < to auto-download with launcher

As Always man you are a gentleman and a scholar and always come to help.
yeah we're hoping in the future resources can possibly be tied to other resource so if you download 1, it downloads the other without having DUPLICATE resources - currently have to download them separately

Two significant issues I am seeing on my toons. First, toons will not pick up parcels..window open, macro says waiting for them to be ready..they are ready and I have to retrv them manually then restart macro. Second, one of my toons is not casting cloudy potion...even though they are in his inventory. Both of these issues seems to push the macro into requiring quite a bit of manual babysitting.

Makro stopped today running it first time with a message about missing Levi potions on my Sk. Went to DB shop and bought 'polymorph wand: forest fary' and inserted this as Levi ckicky. Sk is max AA, so thought the AA 'Bobbing Corpse' should have been sufficient.
Had 9 pcs of full charged 'Bulwak of many Portals' for a total of 27 gate-clicks in the bags, nevertheless bought 10 potions of 'Philister of Major Translocation' from Bazaar.
Still running and happy so far.

ok so i have been running it for a little while and its in kunark now but the problem is it stopped running and when i try to manually run like hitting W or forward to move it only takes a tiny baby step then stop. i have to hold down my mouse buttons to get it to walk but all my other toons movement is fine its only the toon i was running explore mac on is this a known thing? how do i fix this because even after ending mac relogging everything i cant even move him around normally

I had same effect once today. Maybe a mix of 2 or more movement-commands got applied simultaneously blocking each other.
I used the Pause Hotbutton. Than I used the StopMe Button found somewhere here in the forums a while ago:
/hot StopMe 13 /squelch /multiline ; /afollow off ; /stick off ; /moveto off ; /nav stop ; /play off
This should stop all kind of possible active movement-commands.
After that I moved manually to the Zone line where the toon should have gone.
Once zoned, I could use the unpause Hotbutton to keep exploring going.

Same Issue today, character nailed in place with no means to move in any direction. This time there was no way to get it solved, apart from closing eq-client and restart from scratch. Felt like 2h of exploration lost, because restarting brought me back to the boat VS. Tim-Deep, where I have waiting for the boat about 2h ago.
A pause button which would stop any possible command of active navigation-command could help to solve this kind of issue. The Stop-button mentioned above was not sufficient, to unfreeze movement.
