Thanks Sic. I was watching this macro, but wasn't aware the other. It was not in the instructions, and I missed it on the top of the Overview "requirements" section.
you need to download the DeneCore

Historically, crashes have been caused by plugins and not the macro specifically. So, please understand if my troubleshooting doesn't focus on the macro just yet. I haven't logged in since last patch, but will tonight after work to verify functionality. In the mean time, can you do a `/plugin list` and post the plugins that are loaded?Since the patch on the 20th Aug, my toons are consistently crashing when accessing the portal shard vendor in the guild hall.
Changed UI to default, issue continues.
Is occurring on the RoF run, I haven't test other runs.
there was an issue with yesterday's mq2 patch with the merchant window struct/class/offset/whatever which is *probably* causing this crash/issue.Good evening! I just picked up this macro and am having some odd issues with it. On one character I tried to send it off to PoP and it stopped to buy something off a merchant in PoK. It gets the merch window open and then crashes the game.
Also, on another character who is in the Guild Lobby when I start any path it says its is going to PoK and then it pops the let's get dangerous message which I have been told by others who have this macro is the message for combat. The character this is happening on is in the GL or PoK (tried from both zones) and definitely does not have any aggro. With this it doesn't crash but it just sits and does nothing.

MQ2 devs have fixed it and are testing it, and we will hopefully get a new VV build after that
Do you have XTar 1 set to something other than Auto?

as noted in a couple replies between then and now - there was an mq2 core issue with vendors - which should be fixed now if you patch.Understood.
Here is the error I get.

I can use the portal vendor manually without crashing.
X-Targets are all set to auto.
Yeah, my combat routine is SUPER simple. Sorry. I'm not a combat-macro guy. I'm good with moving from Point A to Point B. Hence why I wrote that macro. :PNope. But I did have 2 at the bottom set to raid mark 1 and raid assist 1. I just swapped them both to auto and its working fine now. LOL
Sic, as always, thank you for your contributions and assistance.as noted in a couple replies between then and now - there was an mq2 core issue with vendors - which should be fixed now if you patch.
Glad it got sorted out. Happy Exploring! All working well again.
Thanks for the assist.
Ok I truly love this mac. Saves a lot of time. Here are some "oops" and "oh craps" about it. Some times my rogue (MQ2 rogue unloaded) gets stuck zoning back and forth between greehills and greenhills village. He will zone into the village. run 5 feet the opposite way he has to go and zone back into greenhills. Then he will do it again after going 5 feet and then hide sneak turn around and zone again. Watched him do this for an hour. Had unload the mac and restart it and 2 out of 3 times he would go it again.
Another issue is clicking the floor to zone into another zone. In an LDON zone. Loast the paper I wrotet the zone name down on. Again intermittently this would happen. Overall though it is a great macro.
Oh, one other thing...when the mac gets the toon to buy the lev pots and the shrink pots...he will go to the parcel vendor and then just sit there with the parcel vendor window open and not take the things he purchased to put in his inventory. I usually buy the stuff before I run that mac.
And 1 last thing. I know you all put in a lot of hours and hard work...But 1 suggestion is this...Is there a way for the mac to check which zones have been completed. that way they can run to the next zone that has not been done during the route....For example..if for some reason during say, the attunement test in shard's landing, and the computer goes link dead, or your computer crashes, or LD....Instead of starting the whole thing all over again, it would just go to the next attunement that had not been completed or try to do the whole thing over (attunement quest) again. Specifically , where the toon has to run through the zones (not the language part (although that was awesome, saved a bunch of time and thank you so much.)
Other than thos issues above... Awesome macro.
To do as you (and several others) have asked would mean defining a path for EVERY COMBINATION of zone-in to zone-out for EVERY zone in the game. For Plane of Knowledge alone we'd need 600 or more functions. That's JUST for nav'ing inside Knowledge. Tranquility means another ~600. So, 1200 discreet functions and we're at 2 zones of 516. Then it would need a zone-connection database (what connects to what), and path-finding tool. Basically, we'll have recreated the in-game zone guide, and like it, there are lots of travel options that we couldn't program in (ports, clickies, magus's, etc) and zones that cause problem. Example- Echo caverns in Luclin has two sections that don't interconnect. You can't nav from certain zone-ins to certain exits. (You have to zone out to Shadowhaven and zone into Echo via a different entrance.)
Jumping to a zone in the middle of a route causes the same issue as above because we have to be able to determine how we get from our start-zone to that mid-route zone without running the full route. On the good side, the macro will let you start it mid-way along a route if you're IN a zone within the route. Problem here is if it's a route we go through multiple times, it has to assume we're on pass-through #0. (Best way to handle this is restart the macro inside a zone that is only gone through once.)
Please understand, I'm not meaning to be rude or dismissive. Just trying to give you and many others an idea of the complications around certain ideas such as this. It sounds easy in our heads, but is a very different reality when put into a computer program. I tried to make the best compromise I could by basing things on routes and using PoK as a 'fixed' point of origin.
Yeah. Use an Invis AA instead. :Pis there a way to turn off using invis potions for the lower level zones?
Literally spend tens of thousands of platinum for no real reason. Teleporting from the Guild Lobby Magus to Nedaria's Landing (no reason to when you have LDoN quests completed to port anywhere else) -- but when you hit Nedaria's, you use an invis potion, run like 8 feet, pop invis, and hail the Magus there as well. It's insane how many invis potions are used unnecessarily. ;pis there a way to turn off using invis potions for the lower level zones?
I'll let me 115 max AA raid-geared tank know to be a caster next time.Yeah. Use an Invis AA instead. :P
(No, you can't disable the use of invis while travelling)
the macro will use clicky items instead of potions, if you have one. I used Incarnadine Breastplate for my warrior to run this, never used a single potion.I'll let me 115 max AA raid-geared tank know to be a caster next time.
You can't disable invis, but you can use IVU to trick the program, or fade, etc.

Interesting. Thanks for the reply! Thanks for the log, BlankStare.
I have that message there to capture any possible Zone/Boss combo's that are not accounted for in the INI. Unfortunately, this isn't one such occurrence. Just an adventure that failed to drop which the code reasonably handles.
