Plugin - MQ2Eskay (1 Viewer) 3.1.52471.11

I must have had something set goofy. Bought power, reset to defaults, and it started working... Not sure what I did to break it, but agro is great now. Thanks for the help.
Glad it is working. There isn't really a setting that would have stopped it.

I'm missing the cwtn window that controls mode, etc. I have reloaded the ui, typed in the plugin command again. license is not expired. I have DPS window, plugin window, mq window.

sorry you're having problems.

please make sure to always post in the respective discussion thread for whatever you're using.

mq2eskay has a robust discussion thread, FAQ, commands tab etc.

Did a search for SK stopped attacking, came up with a single entry in this thread, but I dont think that's my issue. I swear I have the worst luck when using CWTN's plugins.

The issue I ran into was this.. Out of the Box, the plugin worked perfectly. I tweaked a few things I didnt want to use (hates attraction, pet shrink, small stuff like that). Everything still great. I took a leap of faith and switched from assist to tank mode in the eskay window. Didnt really care for how the SK acted. (SK would attack whatever mob it felt like while everyone else was on a mob I did an /assist me on. No biggie) The problems started when I turned off tank mode and went back to assist mode. The SK now sits on his azz and wont fight. casts all the buffs in the world, but wont fight. :(

As with the enchanter plugin I started using yesterday, I am sure this is a simple fix, but I dont know what it is.

sounds like basic settings.

if your SK is tanking, have them be the MA and MT in the EQ group window.

then, make sure you adjust your campradius - you only fight stuff in your campradius on your xtarget window.

you should not likely be tanking in an assist mode (unless you're intentionally trying to assist someone else (and they should be up-in-the-mobs-face

But the SK will not get off his azz and fight if the puller (Bard) does not melee the mob. Which is BS. The bard does not have the mitigation to stand there and tank multiple mobs while waiting for the chanter to do her thing.
Once again I am frustrated by plugins making my life more difficult than they were when I was using only KA.

We only fight mobs inside your camp radius. These mobs get populated on your xatarget window.

The MA does need to be up in melee range. Which is why I pointed that out in my previous reply.

Let your tank be MA and MT. Your puller/mezzer absolutely shouldn't be your MA.

I'd recommend giving another watch of the guide vids.

he is not using Steely stance, unless i'm using byos custom.
But then if he's in pull mode, he doesn't seem to recast it often unless there are no mobs available and it triggers the wait. (it only lasts 4 mins) and i can be pulling for 10+ mins.

with other buffs he stops between pulls to rebuff.. just not this one.

Looks like that's assigned to gem 11. Do you have gem 11?

I believe SoD is one expansion before UF. So next expansion it'll automatically memorize it. Me and Sic will discuss potential options.

Regarding byos custom - are you saying it's wearing off and you pull without it as a buff?

sadly only at 10 gems currently. 11+ is next expansion.

yes it wears off, while i'm actively going from pull to pull (currently using hunter tank)
but sometimes it does recast it... so can't really seem to find the faulty area

I'll add it to check to cast it before pulling if it is ready to be cast.

Unfortunately, we don't plan on changing the memorized spell loadout, but byos/byos-custom will cover you here, and checking it should cover you alright
 
Is there any way to have the plugin NOT mark my SK as the puller when i go into pullertank mode? Would just like to have the MA/MT tags on him.

I have bought the MQ2Eskay and everything works fine except one thing.
Whenever i get to 20% mana and my sk sits to meditate, it just won't rest.
He stays in combat forever. The only thing that helps is camping or staying in feign death for a long period of time.
I also have a Shaman with the Shaman MQ2Eskay and he works fine.
Is there anyone who could help me with this ?

I have restarted everything, and now it is working correctly. Perhaps it's an aggro issue with the zone, although i am 100% sure there is nothing on me. I will try it out in a few other zones to see if the problem repops. If it doesn't i will delete the topic.

Sounds like a zone issue. Mq2eskay doesn't do anything to make you remain in combat when you shouldn't be

i have my sk set to puller tank and he keeps sitting for like 5 mins in between pulls him and group are full mana / end and hes just sitting there . how do i get him to chain pull ?
 
Could be a couple of things.

A common reason is your Zhigh and Zlow need to be upped so your puller will go up and down hills.
Another is because your radius is to low and needs to be spread out. Check your map (Make sure to have the 2 and 3 pressed down to see the circle) and make sure there are mobs in your hunting range.

Groupwatch will determine who the SK is keeping tabs on for figuring out if they need to rest. (Default is Healer) I usually set mine to Self only and put everything down to 10 if I just wanna Chain pull cuz I'm not going to run out of juice.

you don't need your very own "mq2eskay pulling" thread, mq2eskay has a thread.

there are also items in the FAQ about pulling and how to figure out why you're not when you think you should.

Is there anyway to get my sk to spam my terror spell whenever my LTs are down for the chance of the rune proc?
 
I had a crash while logged in with my SK. I was in overseer, no macro or Lua for it. I was accepting a reward when this happened. I was running a LEM condition in the background if this helps with Lua. Nothing to do with overseer. Just a condition for the Shei Vintras mission. I finished the mission and checked my overseer quest and was accepting rewards when this happened. Maybe it is related but wanted to report since I was use the CWTN plug in. I know it could be a number of things. I am hoping just to get it figured out for future references. Thank you in advance.

As a side note you have likely 30+ other plugins running also, not just eskay.

You mentioned no Lua for it, but "just to be sure"...

Just a couple days ago there was an update to the Overseer Lua to fix a full EQ/MQ crash to desktop - specifically when accepting rewards.

If you have the Overseer Lua, make sure it is the latest version just to be safe.

They appear to have the 1.9 version. Which is the latest.
 
A couple of very minor 'nice to have' items:

Would be neat if there was a way to manually add ignore targets when pulling without needing to target them first. Something like /shd ignoretarget MobName.

Not sure how possible it would be, but also be cool if the mob you were running after to pull was targeted as you were running towards it, instead of waiting until in range.

You can ignore them by name. Did you try or look at commands.

No. We purposefully and intentionally don't target until we should.

I did, I saw this /shd Ignore - adds your target to the pullignores.ini file in your release folder - will skip this mob in the pull routine.

Tested it in game and it does in fact add by name. Based on that sentence I did not think to try it.

Level 5 SK and Rogue are attempting to Disarm.

However this appears to be a skill acquired at
  • Rogue: Level 27
  • SK: Level 40
I have toggled off the "Use Disarm" option manually.
