unfortunately there weren't any changes that would make your reported behavior possible - and i reached out to a handful of raiders to check with them, and they are reporting things working as expected (and if they weren't i'd be getting flooded since patch), and i haven't seen the reported behavior either. so hard to help you

are you sure you didn't have "mimic me" stuck on on another toon, and when that toon swapped targets you did too? like on a healer?
ok, sat out first target, i'm currently boxing clr, shm, sk all with cwtn. I unloaded MQ2Eskay and my SK is still trying to tank during raid. Casting spells and trying to take agro. I have zero programs running so there is something in macro quest doing something to control him. No clue what as i'm not running a kissassist or any other Lua. I'm just fecked right now. I double checked MQevents and the only thing I have in there is Bend the Knee stuff. I again /end to end any macro just in case but got the message "cannot end a macro when one isn't running" I do not have mimic me on, /Lua gui shows Lootly running and overseer exited. No clue where to go from here as literally nothing is on but he keeps fighting. (yes I made sure he is not assigned group tank also even though that shouldn't matter with no plug in/macro running)
 
I found a very vanilla plugin that was running that I've never used before. not sure how it got turned on or even what it does. MQ2AFnuke ? I /nuke off and seem to be working now. I'll have to test more. Hoping that was it.

MQ2AFNuke and MQ2Heals are Jimbob's automation plugins that cover multiple classes. They're a free alternative and one of the many combat automation things here on RG.
 
I have gone through the discussion and I understand that MQ2Eskay uses carapace BUT I still wanted to ask for the consideration of a checkbox to use the Ignominious (Impertinent line) instead be implemented (hopefully sometime in the near future). Much like the option to use Unity Beza instead of Azia.

No plans on doing that at this time.

You don't really explain why other than azia/beza which has an actual use case.
 
Always wondered this but never asked. Why doesn't Eskay use the Visage of Decay AA?
there are a bunch of reasons why, we just dont - mainly comes down to situational usage and it would block decay so if a user wants to try and squeeze that in, they could hit that button. I've come back to it a few times on how/where to squeeze it in, but lots of "but this, but thats".

so for now, no plans on changing it

If I hit the VoT button by hand, it finishes casting. At some point EsKay gives up and continues.

Dunno, we don't interrupt anything.

I'd personally suggest not using voice of Thule :p except maybe putting on someone else manually.

But not sure what would cause that, since we don't interrupt

Would check for conflicting macro or mq2twist or lem or a react or anything else like that

lems/Lua were all paused, no macro, no react. mq2twist, well that would be no surprise :)

I'll just switch VoT off.

Why would you want to utilize an inferior disc? Is it for the group heal and minor boost for pet dps? That's about the only reason I could think of to use it, because it is inferior to carapace defensively.

Hey there sorry for such a late response. So what I'm looking at so far is this. Ignominious is the same 20% absorption, 18 Less AC boost and 429,490 less Total Absorption. Here's where I feel it gets better, Xetheg's Carapace gives us a 7632dmg drain for the duration or 32 taps whichever comes first. While Ignominious gives us a 9951dmg tap that heals 100% of the tap up to 24,877 health that can trigger up to 48 times or the duration of absorption whichever comes first. It also casts a group heal of 7461hp. In addition to these two differences it also casts ignominious agitation on your pet which by the admittedly minimal amount of parsing I've done so far (I'll do more to share) has made my pet which itself is lvl 118 do the same dps as a level 120 EM30 Necro pet. So I'm seeing three positive reasons, better self heal, the addition of a group heal, and the increased dps from the pet. The downsides are as noted above, less ac boost and less total absorption. If there's something that I'm not understanding or am overlooking regarding this disc please let me know. I'm willing to learn.

For quite a while now, clicking the CWTH 1682486272367.png on MQ2Eskay (and others) would put it into Paused mode1682486381586.png, clicking again would un-pause. For at least a week (or 2) clicking in the CWTN font area won't un-pause,

I don't keep the plugin window fully expanded, clicking on the slider will un-pause. Clicking near a command like UseBeza, sometimes works.
If fully expanded, 1682486678876.png anyplace in the black works.

I can of course use a social to control this or type it.

Has anyone else had this problem? Perhaps it was affected by UI updates?

Thanks for any suggestions, I pause/un-pause very often (for a variety or reasons). I'd love to have that work_as_intended, again.

For quite a while now, clicking the CWTH View attachment 48107 on MQ2Eskay (and others) would put it into Paused modeView attachment 48108, clicking again would un-pause. For at least a week (or 2) clicking in the CWTN font area won't un-pause,

I don't keep the plugin window fully expanded, clicking on the slider will un-pause. Clicking near a command like UseBeza, sometimes works.

Been having the same issue, just been working around it though. It's happening on Shm, Clr and Nec CWTN plugins for me too.

Thanks for the response. I/we definitely know what it does. I just wanted a use case where that makes enough difference.

Based on that, those really aren't reasons valuable enough to have a toggle, so we're not going to do that at this time, but thank you for responding

yep, it is in the changelog - always worth checking there to see the latest updates and changes. so many people miss out on cool new features because they don't check out stuff.

cwtn and i never thought people would end up clicking the cwtn logo to unpause, that the intent was to click the giant paused icon to unpause - but it turns out many people are lost into the void without being able to figure it out =p

we have an update that will at least take away that painpoint

lol funny enough when I initially started using these plugins I was clicking the giant "Paused" button to try to unpause and ended up having the reverse issue which is why I started clicking the logo to begin with. Not knowing any better I just thought that THAT was by design.

MQ2eskay behavior I wanted some advice on if Sic/CWTN don't mind. I tried to take screenshots but I'm in the middle of a raid when this behavior occurs on Eskay and MQ2mage (will post there shortly since it's a slightly different issue). I figured I would post what I have now and if more is needed, I would be able to provide it in the coming days when we raid this instance again.

Where - TOL/UP Raid - Zelnithak
Recreatable - Yes, as it's happened the last 3 times our guild has raided here

I noticed that when my SK dies in this particular raid, the plugin spams the AA breather over and over (insert spam photo of the plugin output here trying to use Breather, but I'm sure you've seen spam before 😜 ). I'm sure because it's trying to regain stamina ASAP. What seems to be indicative of this raid is the very close boundaries set by the raid mechanics to accomplish one of the achievements and being so close to the boss, when rezzed all toons are automatically placed in combat as opposed to resting. I'm sure it's due to the hoof AA or the insect swarm being kited, etc. Since the SK is rezzed in combat, the AA will not fire because it spams "you can not use this ability while in combat". It eventually goes away if/when you enter a resting mode but it appears to prevent all other abilities and/or plugin functions until it clears. This sometimes may not happen for quite some time since once rezzed, I usually jump straight back in to OT something or assist in damaging the main boss. Is there a way to tell the plugin not to use this AA if we're in combat so it prevents the spam?

I apologize if this is not enough info to properly evaluate the behavior and if so, please let me know what else is needed and I will endeavor to get it on the next raid.

And yes, I realize not dying is the best solution and I'm working diligently at that 😁

I will have to double check the target window next raid to be sure as I did not look. Lot's going on with only 35 ish people. I plan to take screen shots next raid and snippet important parts, but I think the main boss ends up on xtarget fairly fast as there is a frequent AE. My whole group of 6 when rezzed is in combat mode, not resting so it's not just the SK.

We already check for xtarget, so we'll just add an extra incombat check as well.

Thanks Sic! I posted an issue with this raid in mage as well, but I fear it contains even less info. I thought I would put it out there though in case you planned to test the SK issue, you could also test the mage issue in the same raid.

"click the giant paused icon to unpause" - SIC, I clicked everywhere including there (I Promiss LOL), it would just uncheck the settings underneath. Looking today (and reading the update 4/26/2023) , the PAUSED seems to be better located now and it's not an issue like it was.

I am not running mq2farm but I do have the plugin loaded.
I checked this against an actual mob and I did not see that message... I was in shadow valley ToL at the time of both of these.

I do not think it is an actual problem. Just something I noticed.

This isn't mq2eskay it would say mq2eskay.

I would unload mq2farmtest if you don't want to run mq2farmtest

But it doesn't have anything to do with mq2eskay is the point. It might be ON your shadow knight, but it isn't related to mq2eskay.
 
For some reason when I set my SK to tank/pull upon returning to camp he overruns camp and then paces back and forth trying to get into position to engage the incoming mob. I am on a mount and the drift seems extreme. When I pull manually the drift on mount isn't as pronounced. Am I doing something wrong here?

We have no control over the acceleration and deceleration of mounts and no attempt to combat the accel/decel was made in the logic to handle that situation. My suggestion would be to dismount.
 
Just picked this up last night and in the 3hr of playing with it I am impressed. My SK went from being a kinda shitty slow to react tank that did piss poor dps with mule/kiss to a snappy resilient tank that busts out 500k dps every fight.

I think I will pickup the rest of the plugin's for my crew if they work even half as well as this one did.
