But it doesn't have any stick behavior at all. In the fury of battle i loose my target. Is it normal ?
For the DPS i ve typed /plugin mq2dpsadv load, it said to me the pluging was loaded, but i see nothing.
And how do you block an illusion.

I' ve downloaded MQ2Eskay (plus shm, bst and berz). It's really fun but i m having some issues. First my SK doesn't stick to his target like he was doing with KA (i've tested with and without the stick option, nothing). Second how do i get the DPSMeter i m seeing in Sic videos ? Third is it possible for my shamy to stop using pact of the wolf, or even better not putting everyone in werewolf form ? Another thing, is it normal that my SK is constantly memorizing spells, sitting even when i m pulling (I m in manual mode). Thanks.
ok first. please post mq2eskay questions in mq2eskay thread, and mq2shaman questions in mq2shaman threads - it makes it so hard for people to find other asked questions if they're all over the place.

for your sk - manual mode doesn't stick to your target - other modes do. for example - if you are in tank mode, you will stick to your target while fighitng - if you are in sictank mode you will stick to your target if you're fighting inside your camp - manual mode does no sticking or auto engaging.

mq2dpsadv is the plugin that shows the dps meter - after you load a plugin that has a ui element you need to /reloadui to get eq to load the xml and then /dpsadv show The plugin tells you after you load the plugin for the first time that you need to reload your ui.

pact of the wolf is your mq2shaman - there is no turning that off - unless you want to add the buff to your blocked spells. But if your major issue is the werewolf form, uh well, you should block the illusion portion on anyone that you don't want an illusion form on - most illusions are independent from the buff portion of spells, so you can often block them - just like in the case with all the shaman and beastlord things that turn people into wolves.

yes, your sk is going to memorize spells to buff and cast things it needs/wants to - manual mode is for movement and engagement not for casting memorizing or not. if you don't want any spell management including doing buffs that come from memorized spells you can BYOS

I'm having issues with the Morweena Undertow area. My tank in Hunter Tank isn't seeing them at different levels. Even with high and low z set at 1000. I must be missing something. The mobs are within the pull radius.
try and stay closer to the bottom of the water - nav does stuff with odd stuff with layers sometimes and will try and think the ice layer above you is where it wants to be - its not an mq2eskay thing, its a nav thing. I've huntertanked that area just fine by more or less staying close to the bottom

if you did a /shd debugpull on once it will tell you why you didn't pull something - this case it will likely tell you it can't find a nav path

all of a sudden about 20 minutes ago, my eskay tank/puller mode started lagging just as the mob dies. i have checked and deleted any log files, restarted cpu. restarted modes. reinstalled eskay. updated nav meshes.
if there are multiple mobs in the camp, she just switches and she has no problems, but if the mob dies and she runs away, it like a huge lag spike and freezes the screen for 1-3 seconds. oh and if i pause her just before the mob dies, it doenst happen. the lag i get when i move the window or tab the window is tolerable but this is not. anyone have any ideas what could, all of a sudden, be causing this or maybe even the lag when i move the eskay window or tab through it please? thanks

double check you don't have mq2autoclaim loaded - that can cause the behavior you're exhibiting you can also just /market and then close it - if this fixes it it was autoclaim issue

We've had 1 other person talk about the ui getting lagged out but we don't have any clue how/what could cause it - especially if it "just started happening".

do you know what you did between working fine and not working?

have you tried /reloadui or re-logging your toon?

what zone are you in?
 
frontier mountains, been here all day
did you move locations/areas? or adjust your radius?

that zone has some weird spots that cause a substantial calculations to try and determine nav path depending on your mesh
 
i adjusted the radius with no help, and changed locations and still nothing. threw in the towel and went to scorched woods to test and it seems to be doing better with the "when the mob dies" freeze, but the tabbing of the eskay window can still be pretty bad. i can take that over the freezing though, for sure. thanks for your help. hope it doesnt happen again.
 
I ve watched your video on mq2war, things are way clearer to me now. I m using sictank mode and a button /shd gotocamp, it s great. Thanks fot the insights.

- Will again use Voice of Thule spell if you have it memorized and...

I keep losing my mq2eskay window.
has happened a couple time.
if I try reloading ui doesn’t help.
if I try /shd show I get Zerkerwnd does not exist

it comes back if I unload everything and reload Mq2 and plugin,

if it says zerk wnd doesn't exist - either mq2eskay isn't loaded (and you need a reloadui) or you need a reloadui.

check out the info resource and ensure you didn't move the file or do anything outside of what it says there.

Howdy @Endy sorry to hear you're having issues.

this means you tried copying the file around - like trying to load a live file onto test or vice versa.

you shouldn't do that, and you should allow the launcher to update it for you

For test:
You don't do anything - you don't use the plugin tab - the launcher actually tells you this.
The plugins are included on test -> so, based on your file location in your snippet above i suspect you're trying to use the live file on test - which is the error you are getting.

you are going to want to manually delete the mq2eskay.dll in your release folder, and re-patch/reinstall for test (if you are on test)

Also ensure you watch:
> CWTN UI INFO <
> MQ2Eskay <
> Moving your group around / hotkeys / pulling <
 
My bard Kissassist ini is behaving very strange. I posted this in Kissassist support, but because of number 2, I think it may be for MQ2Eskay? Every pull the bard's Kissassist macro ends. This occurs only when then main tank is my SK running MQEskay....

I am targeting the MainAssist Target. I just inserted this bard with the same ini into a different group and he behaves just fine! So, to be descriptive:

1) SK is the main tank running MQ2Eskay. I have a hotkey on the bard that says: /tar maintankname, /pause 4, /mac kissassist (I have also done /mac kissassist maintankname 98) and the bard ends his macro on every pull...as soon as he acquires a target.

2) The very same ini and bard with a warrior as the target (the warrior is running MQ2War) and everything works fine.....

I will copy this into the MQ2Eskay thread as well....

Ideas?

your kissassist issue has nothing to do with mq2eskay or mq2war

and i already posted a response in the kiss thread.

it sounds like you're not starting up the macro correctly

you can do this instead of what you're doing
you need to say "assist"
/mac kissassist assist tankname 98
or
/mac kissassist assist ${Group.MainAssist} 98

None of the pulling code was changed in the patch.

you should do a /shd debugpull on once and it will tell you why you're not pulling anything - it is almost certainly a settings issue - unless you ignored everything or you have a bad mesh.

but telling me "and yes pull radius is adjusted" isn't really helpful - because i'm going to take a wild guess and say it is your pulling settings that are the issue - not in a pull mode, radius or zradius not set correctly - pull lvl min/max wrong, arc wrong, paused, bad mesh, you don't have mq2eskay loaded, etc.

you should also take the time to familiar yourself with the MQ2Eskay FAQ

Q. Why am I Not Pulling XYZ mob?
A. Not pulling a mob is almost always an issue either with your Navmesh or your pull settings. If you do a /shd debugpull on once and it will cycle 1 time and spit out in your mq2 window all the mobs and why you are not pulling them. Compare the output with the mobs you think you should be pulling and it will tell you why. This will notify you if you have no nav path, or out of zradius, or regular radius, or on ignore, etc.

Thank you all Updates are run...Reinstalled... rebooted etc.....and were........... there must be some kind of Nav bug...... which I haven't touched yet........... so Trying that................... still wont pull


Figured out I have an invalid corpse in zone..... no rez timer.... cant loot........not sure what to do here other than petition..................... EQ Thing.............. Carry on

Assist stops working often. All settings are as they should be, and it works for a bit, then randomly my sk just stops assisting. Anything I can adjust to make it continuously work properly?
 
All settings are as they should be
if your settings were as they should be, you would be assisting.

all of the cwtn plugins use the same logic in our "commons" for assisting and pulling and all the common shared stuff.

if you meet your conditions to assist (your settings) and you are in an area that you have an appropriate mesh, you will assist.

I would ensure your settings are correct, that your main assist is appropriately assigned in your group window, and that you have a valid mesh.

it sounds like mobs are outside your camp radius if it is hit or miss
 
I just found out today if you click the class name on the CWTN class plugins, it pauses the plug in. This is my new favorite feature.
 
Question* I'm sorry if I have missed this in the updates, but has the Disarm bug been fixed? ( throwing your weapon in your bank if magical and on the ground if not magical)

that's an eq thing not an mq2eskay thing.

in early eq disarm throws the mobs weapon to the ground if it isn't magical - if you don't want to use disarm you can /shd usedisarm off
