now - am i understanding that you're saying that you believe that the snare made you wait for the ManaMedEnd despite you not meeting the ManaMedStart? Because if that is what you're trying to say, then that isn't right and that is definitely a bug that does need correcting. (and means i didn't understand you before, so my apologies)
Yes - that's it exactly! What is happening is that as soon as puller is snared, he waits for ManaMedEnd on all chars regardless of the fact that ManaMedStart was never reached on any of them.

in that case yes you are correct - this definitely appears to be an unintended bug.

i'll see if i can get this fixed asap because that is pretty annoying
 
you're not on a tlp or server that doesn't have aggro information available are you? I think that needs VOA or RoF unlocked?

I like to get some elaboration on this as I also am on Ragefire, and may be its just way I see aggro working isn't the same as what you talking about. So I am guessing this is not the targets target... its the only thing I have ever used for Aggro info. I not using any clickies as of yet as not got any yet except one sitting in a bag somewhere that i got starting the toons.

we have very few things that check your actual threat value - one of them happens to be in the defensive disc

So your talking about the aggro list values that more or less ranks your aggro? This is something you can actually see now of some of the servers?
 
yes, as of like 10 years ago they added aggro % information

yeah they moved back some of the quality of life stuff - like bandoliers and such - dunno what the reason for the aggro stuff not being all the way back.

you should 10/10 do a post in hail, a fire beetle and tell folks about your alpha experience - that'd be pretty rad to hear

The important thing is we got there. Normally this wouldn't be too much of an issue, but I am trying to level a new toon in the drach caves and they snare SK like a bugger. Just disabled watch for now, but figured it was worth reporting. Thanks for the attention.

Wasn't much as Tech was lagging behind the design, and I lived in boonies with lowgrade internet so Alpha blew, by time tech caught up for me in beta was in last stage. Best part of beta was when it opened to live beta for load testing on last night and had the Run for Life from Qeynos to Freeport. Nothing like seeing 100 toons running across zones with a train in tow... think about 10 made it thru on 1st attempt. and this was when at night time in zones was truely night time if you didn't have night vision or buff you were blind running.
 
So speaking of run for life brings me back to the question i asked earlier about snare...

are you byos - is your mana above your dotmanamin?

Is this my only option for now to get snare to work by using BYOS? I am not using BYOS at the moment, but the area I am grinding at, has to have snares otherwise am wiping about every mob that runs, those shroom are sprinting at warp speed and making it almost halfway across the zone running. Good to know Rogue corpse for CTWN is GREAT feature... eventually I am sure the AA will workout and this wont be an issue, not sure when that will be using the autoAA though

BYOS did allow DoTsnare to cast, but WOW, ok back to reworking tactics as snare isn't going to resolve my Shroom trip... went from warp 10 to warp 8... guess i need to look at another toon for flee control, and I hate using root as then aggro distance comes into play
 
you can always /shd debugpull on once and it will spit out why you didn't pull a specific mob.
yea its not that its NOT pulling a mob, its that its going to pull a mob that is way outside the set pull radius/area, and ends up in lava and dieing if im not on that screen and see he gets stuck and unstick him. he pulls mobs that are WAY outside the set paramaters for pulling, while leaving mobs up that ARE inside the selected pull area.

didnt notice it doing this prior to patch, hadnt played much after patch till friday.

Typically if i set it a "wedge" pull area, it pulls closest mobs inside that area and moves outward till it reaches teh boundaries and then it stops to rest. NORMALLY.

yesterday (and im testing again today) it would leave mobs up that are right there and run outside of pull area to pull a mob then get stuck in lava coming back (the stuck in lava is a mesh issue but the going to that far mob to pull thats outside pull area isnt)

will let ya know if its still happening today in an hr or so
 
I can confirm it is STILL happening. i even moved camps will attach a new ss of the map that shows the pull circle and a arrow to where he ran down to to pull a lava basilisk and got stuck in river and basilisk killed him before i could tab over and pull him out. Happened 4 times that i was able to save it by pauseing macro and manually moving him.


There is no reason for him to run way off down there to pull that mob, it paths but i watched and in 20 mins of watching it never pathed up to be inside the pull radius.

we absolutely do not pull outside the circle.

are you *sure* the mob wasn't inside the circle and warped/pathed away? or you have a bad mesh and you ended up taking a bad path to another mob and ended up aggroing that?

im 100% sure it doesnt path into circle, i paused everyone and set bard there watching it for 20 mins and it never left the lava path (and you can see in screenshot no lava path is inside the pull radius)
as for path not sure, it MIGHT have pathed to something else(bad path) and agroed it. Ill see if i can find a new mesh for Gorowyn
 
what had me puzzled, i was in here for week and half before patch and it never did this. ill delete the gorowyn mesh and reload via the patcher, if that doesnt work ill find a new mesh.

but i can say 100% certain, before patch this never happend, i could setup group and let it run in both camps for 6hrs and no issues (i jsut leveled a shm from 100 to 114 in there)
 
Forgive me, why not /shd useaasnare on, then? Does not need to drop from set that way?

I actually have it on, but it actually only works if you have AA Snare, SK only level 73 at moment and not enough AA points to have AA snare yet, also downtime for it is like 34 seconds i believe so not good to use for grinding at this level either.

eventually found out, snares really weren't going to help on the shrooms as even when snared as they all had SOW on them.
 
Heya guys so im using mq2eskay and my brother is pulling and has a war tank. im out of group and i put my guy in tank mode he just sits there with out assisting and im not sure how to fix this any assistance would be helpful i have my mq2monk doing the same thing just watches the group fight. Apologies if this is a subject already covered.

there is no out of group assisting built-in.

tank mode would only start tanking if the mob goes on xtarget as is inside the camp.

Set your SK camp to slightly over War camp works decent, put War on XTarget might? work, it does if you have a buffing/healing class.

The healers get agro from xtarget heals, 2nd group tank gets involved, any other char MA off him..

yup having a healer set to xtarget heal (which then would put mobs on xtarget) will make a toon in a tank mode jump right into action 100% great suggestion and something i use
 
what ive normally done (when PLing a group) is put tank outside of group with healer. target the "main assist" for the ther group. right click extended target and put targets target.

my Sk and My War auto engage when the mob gets into range

Would it not also work to create an empty KA INI for the SK (or any OOG assister), then start KA in assist mode (i.e. /mac kissassist assist Tank)?

yeah none of the cwtn plugins care about what any other toons are doing at all. if a character is lagging for some reason - they are lagging by their own accord.

sounds like you have an overall computer or mq2 issue. I have noticed an issue with mq2autoclaim that sometimes you need to manually open your marketplace window or you lag out - did you try that? - obviously unrelated to mq2eskay, however.

Okay maybe I will try a reinstall of mq and plugins, its odd though that all the other CWTN plugins are working fine for me just the ESKAY one is being odd
 
I can’t tell if this is new or not, but I just recently started using Sic Tank mode and I have noticed my toon will break invis to self buff. Is this normal?

yup - all of the cwtn plugins will break invis if you are in a camp mode.
 
This hasn't impacted how the plugin performs for me, but anyway to fix the following?

For background, he's level 85 and has a single Guktan - Melee Damage J5 merc. At the time of the error messages, there was room in the group for the merc, but I also continue to get the spam with a full party. Again, doesn't seem to impact anything other than filling up a chat window. =)

well that's not mq2eskay doing that, so i have no idea

and i don't see anything in the mq2 repo with that error message - do you have something else trying to unsuspend a merc?
like mq2react or something else?

Hey Sic, thanks for the reply!

This was totally my bad. Turns out I still had LazyLobbyRez running. Rest of the crews macro had ended, for some reason it was still running on the SK, figured it was his plugin.

Sorry for the false alarm. =)
 
Sic, are there any aggro percent conditions attached to using the AE aggros or is it just count based? I've noticed that my SK will tend to blow out both AA aggros at once and then cast the spell right after if it's loaded, which leaves nothing in reserve for late adds. It seems like overkill.

yup it does (use both) and yup it is (a waste) - but no changes to that atm
