I thought that is how I had it that way but maybe I was wrong. I'll double-check. thank you for the help once again. Great plugin, teaching me to be a better SK
 
I have watched several videos on mq2eskay is there as way to save epic and burns till i need them? and if so how do I set that up and thank you for any help I have been trying to save epic till i need it and such but it likes to use it and use chattering bones to If possible I would like to set up a hot key to burn when I need to if that is possible

Please post mq2eskay questions in the mq2eskay thread.

The epic is part of the burn and defensive routine.

If u dont want to burn adjust your burn settings. I.e. turn off burnallnamed and adjust your burncount to like 99. Then u can issue a burrnnow. Which issues 1 tier of the burn routine, it wont continue the rest of the burn routine since this has a tier'd burn routine.

You cant disable the epic from the uhoh usage
 
I've noticed that pull mode can be a pull stealer, like if the mob is already pulled but it's in my camp zone, the SK will still nab it from the other person. This is a little bit of a risky behavior probably. Maybe add a check mob target before committing to pull?

we already check when we do our spawn check. but not if someone pulls after we're on the way for it or already tagged it.

you can even see this in action with debugpulls, if a pc is within 30 of the mob and its not a teammate, we don't go and pull it
 
I could live with that, but if the other group beats us to the pull, we also go home and stand there until the other group has killed the mob. Not sure if there is a way around this or not since aggro is active. This was happening on probably 1/3 of pulls with 2 groups running mutual support.

Edit: I don't think it's catching it even before pull actually. I checked by setting a short pull radius and dragging a mob through it with another char and he still ran out and stole it.

for some reason my eskay in game window is minimized and it wont open up to see the template. anyone else having the same issue and have found a fix?
 
I've noticed that the pull level min (not sure about max) appears to be ignored. Noticed on TLP.
 
by that chat means we won't pull something if its under your pull level min (we ignore them).
we *do* respect the pull level min.
the pulling options are just for pulls tho - if the mob is aggro we're gonna fight it

this happens btw, if you exit eq and have the ui element minimized - when you come back it will be minimized and then you have to drag it to the correct size

I was getting some non-aggro newbie spiders/beetles in Nektulos under the min pull level of 7 I'd set.
 
I am using MQ2Eskay and really liking it so far. However, my SK is not showing the red circle on the map for the camp radius in any of the modes and he is also not showing the pull radius (blue circle) in any of the modes. The only circle shown on the map is the green circle (isn't this pull spell range?). I looked and could not find any toggles for the missing circles. How do I make them show? The red circle is showing on my other characters running CWTN (cle, bst, ber).

you probably don't have the correct bases showing for your map

the blue pull radius (which only shows when you're in a mode that is pulling - like pullertank, pullerassist, and huntertank)
the red circle is your camp radius - which only shows in a mode with a camp, like assist mode, tank mode, sictank mode, and the puller modes
the green circle is the radius of your pull ability.

if you have somehow moved away from your camp (like in mode 7) and need to update it to where you are you should do a /shd resetcamp since you now want to update your camp to your current location.

well, its one of the class-defining abilities - it would be silly if we didn't have it in there. I laughed because you were so calm/nice about how you asked "any thoughts about adding...".

but yeah, we've always had the dicho/dissi line, and with cov created a smart system to determine which one for each class from dicho (and the one-off named versions like for cleric) all the way up to each rank of dissident and composite.
 
thanks, I have rank 3 of composite and its still doing dissident. So was just wondering - if I choose bring my own spells that alters how it works. Love your plugins and appreciate the hard work that goes into them

keep in mind for most things - if you byos it still would only use the spells that are listed in the output as it "having" - the dicho line is also used more than just a "lifetap" so for that functionality you would want to use what the plugin wants to use for it. byos and memorizing something else you're going to either get no functionality or not the functionality that you would otherwise.

and you found a "sic fucked that up" where for spells i was checking against rank 4 instead of 3!
 
@Celeste i pushed a direct update to the VV launcher - fire it up and it should correct the issue.

the function i wrote for the progressive abilities was actually completely ignoring rank 3 of the composite spell lines =p

so thanks for bringing it up. <3

and feel free to "lol" at it, cause its definitely lolworthy hah
 
Is there a way to set a certain mob to kill with priority? For instance, there are two trash mobs that are not mezzable in a zone. If I ever pull one in a clump of mobs, I want to kill it first. Is there a way to set this up? I know it always starts with a named mob in a clump...but what about normal unmezzable trash?

No, but u are not target locked, so if u want to target a specific mob, just target it

CWTN Plugins use map layer 3 to display blue/red circles, layer 2 for green circle. This is because the blue/red are custom circles and we've assigned them the layer of 3 on the map. The green circle is using MQ2Map's built in /mapfilter castradius option, and MQ2Map uses layer 2
 
I have to say ctwn is without a doubt the savior of my eq gaming life i started with this plugin months ago had a issue early on he helped me figure it out quick since that time I have added the zerker cleric warrior rogue and beast plugins to my collection and im testing the shaman and enchanter ones daily as well the shaman one I absolutely love and as soon it goes live ill he throwing my money at ctwn and sic for it im truly hoping that there's development gonna be going in the future for a mage druid and paladin plugin so I can complete my collection for the toons I use keep up the great work and much love and respect for your hard efforts chat
 
We need a Toggle on off for Agro, Or a DPS mode and a Tank mode. I find even when I am in Vorpal and I go for my 2hdr I'm still actively Taunting. Any plans to implement something like this?

two things this might be:

Q. I spam memorize my mana conversion / skeleton illusion spell?
A. You probably have auto remove illusion turned on, but don't actually have the illusion from this spell added to your blocked buffs. This will make you want to recast the spell. If you don't want to re-cast the spell to get the illusion, you will want to add it to your blocked buffs.

I don't see mq2eskay removing your illusion so i don't think its that.

I suspect your chanter is casting mana regen and overwriting? since those abilities will "overwrite" one another and not just "not stack" it will recast. You should block one or have the chanter stop overwriting your stuff
