Also, hey bro, I heard you want smart plugins. So I got my enchanter an HInt buff. Coming to an Enchanter near you. Automatic detection of mez immune mobs which subsequently automatically get added to the MezImmune List.

Also, many apologies to current users, MezImmunities aren't currently operating as intended. I used DisplayedName to add stuff to the mez immune list, but Name to check the list. So essentially I was checking a restless spectre against a_restless_spectre00 which of course was failing the check. So currently only thing that mez immunity is working on is in fact giants since they're hard coded in. It wasn't until I started working on the automatic detection that I realized that even though things were being correctly added to the INI and Loaded internally to the plugin correctly, they weren't being checked correctly. This is resolved in my current development build and I apologize in advance for the extra mana you have spent and the loss in DPS as a result.

1000% surprised nobody else caught this and mentioned it. If you did catch this and mentioned it and I didn't see it, I also apologize for that lol.
 
I can charm them with my chanter as long as they arnt to high in lvl (53+).

As I said.. this is on Riz TLP not sure how it is on live.

Hey gang, will work on confirming the details but I am running cleric, shammy, warrior and chanter.

I usually log out by setting all modes to 0, then group invis and then camp.

When I come back in and hit mode 1 to begin buffing, I am noticing a number of the options are not being saved from their setting when I logged.

Specifically, use melee, auto dismount and group shrink.

Is there a force save on the config I should use, or is this the intended use of the products?

If you are just checking or unchecking the boxes in the window they won't save when you log out. You have to use the command like /enc autodismount on for the setting to save to the ini

Q. The UI Window Doesn't save my settings?
A. This is intentional. The UI acts as a "hot swap" allowing you to adjust on the fly. If you want to "save" your settings, adjust it with the slash command.

What mode should the enchanter and other assisting party members be in for maximum effectiveness?
assist for all but the MT and i use Sic Tank for my MT SK and Warrior (and personal built INI for my Paly) (though shm if run as second healer should be dps or hybrid)
 
Another thing to think about. Casting mez for the twincast isn't all that good with a single mob on target. It really kills the pet class pet DPS. I run 4 pets in my group + swarms. That just messes the whole thing up.

I feel the same way about this. I am loving the plugin, but I need to do a lot of pet micromanagement for characters I am manually playing every time it casts the twincast mez on the MA's target and it causes dps loss from the pets.

I just ran into this issue in Velks. Will this be fixed the next time MQ2 updates?

I was told that's not going to be an option to turn that off.
 
It's fixed. Make sure plugin is up to date
I've made sure MQ2 is updated and I see the complied time listed as Nov 16th 2:21am when I do a /enc showsettings. Is there a way to manually update MQ2enchanter? I don't see that as an option like the rest of your plugins I use within the redguide launcher.
 
For MQ2Enchanter nope, since it's in prerelease. You'll get update for it (and for MQ2shaman) when VV will update. IE, if you have the lastest version of VV you have the lastest version available of MQ2enchanter too.

That's what I thought, but I'm still experiencing the issue CWTN described.
 
Using MQ2Enchanter on Rizlona. Couple of things I have noticed:
  1. I don't see a BYOS option available.
  2. Keeps loading Mezmerization instead of Fascination for AoE mezzing.
  3. Need an option to use Rune spells on MA and self.
  4. Need an option to use Gift of Mana/Gift of Brilliance on casters/hybrids.
  5. Need an option to use mana sieve line on caster mobs.
 
Would also like to request the enchanter buff the: Gift of Brilliance / Insight / magic ( mana pool buff line)

Any chance you could add the DoT Deceiving Constriction? Can run Grip, Coil and Constriction together at the same time.

  2. 170 extra mana expended for -10 to resist didn't feel like it was worth it. Change my mind.
  3. Lower level spell adjustments are pending.

Maybe eventually possible. I'm aware I can stack dots. There's still plenty of work to be done to the plugin. We'll get there.

This scrolling isn't happening on the Enchanter's MQ window nor is there anything to suggest something amiss in the MQ2Enchanter window. It seems all toons think the pet is an agroed mob and the Enchanter is attempting to accommodate them by performing a charm break via `/pet leave`.

are you using a macro at the same time? this isn't something we output - in fact, i just checked. You are using RG mercs on top of the plugin.

On the toon reporting the message, yes. RGMercs. On the Enchanter no. To be clear, the message is appearing in a window for one of the other toons (not the Enchanter). But the situation I reported is still happening and that's the output in the window. The blurred text is <servername>_<enchanter character>.
 
rgmerc is trying to dannet tell the echanter to pet leave

its not the plugin.

Is this working as intended? Level 113 chanter. Both DoTs and Nukes disabled. But he keeps casting Mindslash (level 110 nuke):

It wasn’t me that asked, but stuff that can sieve mana would be great. I don’t know what you consider in that line but mana sieve from a tlp perspective is it. Really it would just be cool to make sure mobs didn’t gate or heal. I may be thinking too simplistic.
 
Best I can tell that was a burn since Illusions of Grandeur is a 2nd Tier burn ability. The Mindslash is what gives the group the enchanters Synergy for the purposes of burn, the level appropriate synergy spell is still being used. The second nuke that you might have memorized would not fire as it's checked against nuke checks. For the purposes of a burn, Synergy actually doesn't even currently check the NukeManaMin.

Being as you're in Burn Always that's technically how it was designed atm.

Burns with my plugin historically follow a different combat routine, things like NukeManaMin are there to save you the mana needed to do your burns and mez things. But if you're burning, that means the mob needs to die ASAP and choices must be overlooked from a normal DPS routine perspective.

We currently use the "MindXXX" and "Appropriation" lines, which both give mana to the group. The mana sieve line is specifically a mana drain on NPC's.

Can add to the list of items. But at this time I'm still working on the spell bar lineup to persist from level 1 to level 115+
 
Jeez - thanks for pointing out the obvious. I really don't know how BurnAlways got enabled there. Don't have it on anywhere else.
 
Would it be possible to have a setting or just change when Phantasmal opponent is used to be when the Main Tank in the group dies. This is a great ability to grab the mob with its taunt and allow for the group to get the MT back up.

Any plans to use aa mezes like beam of slumber?

Maybe i am wrong, but it seems that /enc Usehaste on not working, i have to manually check the box each time i relog toons or do the command again to use haste.

#5 Mana Sieve, Theft of Thought, Largarn's Lamentation, Torment of Argli (technically this is a dot with a mana sieve component). All are needed in places like ToV where caster mobs can gate.
 
On Rizlona, for the UseNightsTerror function, it would be cool if Boon of the Garou could be added to this to cast it on the MA/melee group members automagically. :)
