I may be wrong, but it may be you just need to add them all as mez immune?

Add /enc MezImmune and /enc UnMezImmune to add and remove things from a mez immune file...

Well I get the message that the mob is immune to mezzes. Not sure why it doesn't add that? I would think there would be a toggle to just not use that. Since the entire zone in Kael is immune. And all giants in the entire game are immune.)
 
Have a situation where the plugin keeps casting Night's Endless Terror repeatedly approximately every 44 seconds on the MT while idle (in the guild lobby/hall). I checked the thread and see others have reported repeated castings, but not this specific spell. Nothing is taking the spell off the MT and it's neither component is blocked. It seems the plugin casts it any time the spell is available (I can see the refresh happen and then cast).
 
i no with the kiss version i use for my ench if tank has voice of thule on ench will repeat cast endless terror maybe something of that like is happening

if there is a spell blocking anything, or anything is getting removed from it (like you are auto removing the illusion but don't have the illusion portion added to blocked spells) you'll get it recast on you

Neither is the case here. Both parts land. I nearly included a log snippet to show the cast and with each taking effect on the toon. It's only for the MT, though. NDT is cast on the pet without issue (and left alone) until it fades.

just for curisority - can you check how many buffs you currently have on your person? We have on our "to do" list to add a buff count in cwtnbuffs so it returns if you're full on buffs and can't receive anymore, so we don't try and spam buff you.

I had a similar issue with NDT and that was the cause at that moment.

lemme know if that's the issue - otherwise we'll see if we can replicate it.

in fact - if possible, copy your toon_buffs.ini (for your mt) from your release folder and PM them to cwtn/me so we can see where the issue is

Honestly, this is the only thing I would love to see added. I have found this program extremely helpful and looking forward to it going live. When it does I WILL be purchasing it! Thank you for the wonderful work!!
 
Another thing to think about. Casting mez for the twincast isn't all that good with a single mob on target. It really kills the pet class pet DPS. I run 4 pets in my group + swarms. That just messes the whole thing up.
 
so I click off View attachment 25396 but yet my enc is still making the clone pet...what am I doing wrong?
its still casting Phantasmal Opponent? AA? the call to cast it has the check, and i just verified that the window option is the correct value

if it is still casting "phantasmal opponent" aa - can you do a /enc usephantasmal for me and let me know if it says false

I am not sure what happen...but I turned it off and then it made one....might have been a fast bug?
 
There are two AA pets. One of them (Phantasmal) teleports you. Spire of Enchantment also creates a pet through Enchanted Doppelganger which lasts for 10 seconds. This occurs during the burn routine and does not teleport you anywhere, but rather attempts to distract your target for 10 seconds. This is not unlike the effects of Phantasmal Opponent. However, Spire of Enchantment also increases mana max, mana regen, and spell crit chance. The only portion of this that can be annoying is Doppelganger. Since DBG in it's infinite wisdom combined all the spires, they are paired and no way I can get the benefit of one, without the other.
 
The Spire of Enchantment gives you a CHANCE at procing a Phantasmal Oppenint if you are struck. It doesn't create one. Phantasmal Opponent AA Spawns a copy of the mob you are fighting to distract it. Doppleganger spawns up to 3 copies of yourself.. to help distract the oppenent and that one does a minor tp.

So the Spire has a chance to pop PO. But I never see it, because I usually don't get hit when I pop it on burns. Plus you shouldn't stack Spire with IoG, CH and CI.

it is just bad to have pets pull agro....and I was having the enc AA pet pull agro off the tank and it was not helping....caused a few people to die :P
 
Had a few things happen during a Lesson burn this morning. It's not the first time for either, but I'm thinking about them and wanted to get them reported before I became distracted again. I'm likely reporting something already known. If so, just ignore those parts. I'm trying to come up with a good way to provide better supporting data. If there's a log of the Plugin Output window, I can start with that. However, I'm thinking it'll require screen capture as well. Thoughts?

1) I had an instance of a pull where the Enchanter did nothing. Up to that point, he buffed the entire group. I turned on pulling mode for the tank and then...nothing. Single pull. No line-of-sight issues (I could directly cast on the mob with the plugin paused). I first paused/unpaused the plugin without engagement with the mob. Finally unloaded/loaded the plugin and everything went back to normal.
2) I had an instance of a multi-pull where the Enchanter didn't mez any of the mobs. None were mez immune. No line-of-sight issues. Doesn't happen every time (actually, it's on the rare side), but it does happen.
3) There are times when then Enchanter is mezzing the already engaged mob. We're not talking a fresh mob either. I'm seeing mezzes at 36% and just had one happen at 5%. Nor is this a case of multiple mobs in camp. Single mob. Single or multi-pulls (with one mob left). This happens often.
4) I had at least one instance where a two-pull was successfully handled (off mob mezzed), but the Enchanter didn't engage the main mob. Pet wasn't sent in. No spells cast (not even tash as I recall). No line-of-side issues.

What level are you?
Are you missing any spells?
It's casting chaotic mez at MA target on purpose.
If you're under nuke or dot mana min it's not going to do any dots or nukes.

This was at or near the start of a Lesson burn and mana wasn't low (but the Enchanter rarely is the reason I need to stop from a mana consideration). In the case of 4) above, it might be a mana issue, but that shouldn't stop it from sending in the pet. As I said, I need a way to properly document the issues, but since the output isn't saved anywhere, that puts a damper on getting this done.

I recall now 3) is intentional to trigger a Twincast, yes? Annoying, but I get the design decision.
 
Would you consider making the chaotic Mez an option? When cast in the middle of a fight, it causes everyone's swarm pets to stop attacking.
 
It works great but for some reason is stuck in an endless loop during downtime casting auras over and over and over again despite the fact that they're already up resulting in walls of red text about not having enough concentration. When a mob shows up he acts normal, but then goes back to trying to casting the auras repeatedly. I have manually removed the aura buffs (mana replication and twincast) so he can successfully cast them and then he stops for a bit, but before long is back to doing it again. Otherwise the plugin is pretty damn amazing, just that one weird quick I've encountered.
 
Enchanter lvl 75 and higher I have noticed that it does not fill all the spell slots after 9 slots I have 2 or 3 empty.

Is this normal?

Will the spell slots be filled in the final or will it be like the cleric release and have slots that will need to be filled by the player?

as mentioned in the cleric thread - once you have the spells for cleric you will fill them.
some of the lower lvl stuff you have some flex and can keep an extra buff or cure up that you won't keep up at the current game level as those slots would be occupied by other options.
We try and fill in most of the slots - but there are some levels/tiers that EQ did a pretty poor job of scaling things or providing useful options.

We intend to fill all or near all your slots - if its something that we feel is crucial to the "out of the box" experience, we will memorize it.

MQ2Enchanter and MQ2Shaman are in pre-release so they are not complete yet, particularly and especially with lower/mid lvl stuff

Thank you for all the answers and I am hoping I am helping you guys locate any bugs and or options you have not thought of while beta testing these plugins with all the questions and some stuff I am finding using them on different levels of chars for you.
 
Not sure if anyone else experience this or not and apology i can't reproduce this reliably but when i was in PoHate and had 3 adds, the chanter was just cyclying mobs and wasted entire mana bar on just doing tash to mobs already tashed. It was soo bad the group bard (on kissassist) had to do Mez duties instead. I couldn't reproduce reliably , but this has happened 3 times over past week. Can you just review the tash logic?

Mine is doing the same thing but it could be a setting were missing?
 
At 97, it seems to be casting Suffocation repeatedly as soon as the gem refreshes.
 
still enjoying this prerelease, ty for all the hardwork... i'm curious if there is a way to get the chanter to cast the updated version of tenebrous auspice rune which would be crepuscular auspice in the next expansion up... it would be awesome if the puller was also designated as a recipient of that buff too if possible
 
this is on a TLP server:

for some reason my chanter doesnt charm giants in kael.

is this maybe because they are mezzimmun and the plugin uses charm only for mobs that arnt on any immunlist?

charm works great for me but as I said it doesnt work in kael for giants.
