Question - What problem do people need solved with a Lua?

So I’m really enjoying writing Lua programs to solve the problems that I’ve personally been running into, such as not knowing when a Druid/wizard port is available that can help me get to where I’m going faster.

I’m really curious about what problems others have been running into that I may be able to throw some stuff together for. I’m hoping to get a list together of projects to work on after I get my PotionMaker program to a more complete state without just starting down the rabbit hole of making trade skill helpers.

So please let me know if there’s something that you’ve been hoping to run across a solution to.

Yes that could be done. But with pressing a hotkey I can edit in a delay along with other things. I like KA, but it can be a pain to get things working together. Everything that I have done with Lua in the past always feels to work better.

Combat buffer. I did it for aura refreshing, but haven't got a good list of buffs i actually want to spend time recasting during combat. Dont want my characters to let my tank die for the wrong buffs rofl.

Would Love a Lua Script to change Entire Set of gear based on Bandolier currently activated so i could have different sets of gears for DPs and Tank mode with different type 5 augs etc.

But i dont supose you have a Lua to go though each alt currency and reclaim? ( im on emu there isnt a reclaim all button yet)

Hi Remix, just responding as you may have not noticed, unfortunately MrInfernal has not been on in almost 1 year. But his lists are still valid ideas for creators, so while he may not be able to respond, it still gives people good ideas for potential projects. I am nowhere near as talented in skills as he is, he helped me on some work before, but I'll see if its something I can do. I also play on EMU but have yet to worry about the reclaim thing, my guys are not yet to DoN. I think Radiant and Ebon are the only thing to worry about 'Reclaiming' for EMU, unless you play on a special server where they expanded things out with more custom stuff.
Please list what you're wanting to reclaim all, which currency.

I would love a Lua that takes a shammy in the open door raid, and targets any/all of the whirling debris that can be baned (i believe it's 3 of the 6 that pop up can be baned. That would be amazing :) I wish I knew how to script Lua's. I am not the most computer tech literate person.

Where is this mythical library everyone refers to??? I look in the Lua tab, go to private scripts (level 2) and just see links to other luas. Nothing comes up when I search Library except different posts. Or.....is the 4 pages of diff Lua's the "library". If so, I don't see anything about Open door mission/raid to bane whirling debris. I have always just done it manually in the group mission.

Any chance you could link the library of which thou speaketh?

Here is a link to the LEM library. I have seen a LEM for the group mission, and I am pretty sure there is one for the raid somewhere. TBH, when we were doign the raid I just had a hotkey on my shaman that would target the adds, and cast the Cure Corruption on them. It had all 3 targets listed, so in case one of the other shamans missed their assignment, I coule take care of them on the second pass. I would press it until I ran out of valid targets.

hmm I got one that I would use... A HUD of the current favor(tribute) each of my bot toons have...
Make it faster to hand out loot to the lowest toon nothing fancy - toon name and a number - by 1k units

Oof, so most (all?) EMU's dont "make" new items in game, they just repurpose already existing ones. So in this case, the script writer would need to know "this used to be fine bone chips, its now PoP T3 currency" or w/e has been changed, to then be able to locate and collect "unique" currency to hand off.

Missing RK3 spell list manager

When trying to figure out which toon amongst a boxed raid force needs specific RK3 runes, it would be nice to have a GUI to show how many of each missing RK3 rune level they still need. This would be super helpful in avoiding accidental wastes giving those no drop runes to a toon that cannot use it anymore.

Has a 6 boxer its hard to manage all toons in a mission, include old missions too, because if u PL a toon, missions are the best for heroic stats!!! So a tool can make them done will be very usefull. In past of time we lose the mechanics to solve the missions, and the res not much people interested on join one.

Repair the existing one, to make it work!!! And make Rezz stick more easy to get!

This may have already been said in one form or another but this is what I really could use.

I have a hard time keeping track of my augments. What are the current best ones to have, which augments conflict with others (this is really frustrating), where does the augment drop or are they crafted. Which augments are recommended for you character type, for example if I have a beastlord I want to stack DEX but also look at spell damage and maybe mana regen, basically, what's everyone else using for the class.

This would be my absolute dream Lua

It’s there for items, plat - but currencies is nice when you have 18 chars farming missions to outfit a team and need to bulk aggregate it. Or when you need 500k tets and they’re 1000 per stack.

ty. I managed to make two hotkeys to make the stack and then another to trade it, but I had to manually click on the Alt Currency I wanted. I'll check out the macro! ty
