trying to run alchemy and its stopping at recepie 32 / 602

Wont give me a shopping list for the missing things so far... only did about 10 recepies of the 32 it checked.
 
also, trying to do alchemy, and failed like 20 of my first 30 combines cause its trying to do everything with asinine high trivial first.
 
Get this farmed components then the vendor bought will be added.
I would love to, but its only giving me a few recepies at a time. I have a massive bank full of tradeskill shit, I dont want to make 3000 trips to make stuff I already have.
 
I have a 305 + a max trophy... so no.

The amount it tries at a time is 30, you can set it to try the whole list, its in the instructions and the faq.
 
I have a question , why is in the fishing shopping list "0 / 4 x Velium Rapier". I didnt find a recipe related to fishing, but maybe I missed something.

Probably because some Velium ore is needed and the macro is using the Conversion recipes to get ore. If you get Ore itself probable the macro will skip the so called "weapon destroy" recipes. Only recipe from Fishing I recall needing velium is the Blessed Fishing rod which requieres some velium bits to make the Spool.
TL;DR just make a Spool or place some velium in your bad and the macro won't ask you for any Velium ore from Velium Rapiers.
 
recipe broken in game: Middle Sized Wood Hewn Counter

The macro is using the right parts, according to eqtraders and alla, but it won't combine in a Planar Fletching Kit or the fletching table. The macro says it's marking it to skip, but won't stop trying to do it. Is there something the users can do like:

/echo skipthis

to make it skip that recipe?

you did not remove correct directory, config/ts is the one you need to remove

@jande can try this site, I know the poison one is accurate for fastest leveling as I just did it and went from 0-275 in under 3 days (1 day was spent on the trophies:bang:) and about 30k spent total, had to stop and go collect the items needed to do 275+ but have about 1000 collected on 3 drops so shouldn't have an issue I hope. Still used a bunch of the recipes made by this starting off til around 200, thjen switch to this site for the rest... Didn't want to farm the items to complete the learning curve.


I am on a TLP so 300 is max for me, but few more expansions and will be able to goto 350
 
I was using this last year or the year before, but I forgot everything. I reinstalled and am trying to use it but it's not working. I forgot the commands and how to initially set it up. I did output all my recipe files and put them into the TS folder but I can't get it to make a shopping list or start making items. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong and the wiki doesn't have a good writeup on how to get it going. All the commands I've found and tried don't work, I just keep getting a jumbled mess of errors like "Tradesman.mac@284 (main): /echo requires all items needed or combines to be in inventory, DoCommand - couldn't parse '/echo requires at least 10 open inventory slots' " and "/echo all main/bank inventory slots need to be filled with containers" That would be great except I can't get a list to be created anymore, I also have all 10 slots and bags in every slot, including the bank. I have no clue what's going on.

I'm Dyslexic at times, I am sure I am typing it the right way because I just tried again and still can't figure out why it's just spamming errors at me. I tried it both ways just to be sure but still not working for me. I even deleted the files and reinstalled from the patcher like he said to do. I have no clue what to do just getting spam until i end the macro. It will do the thing where it outputs your recipe files but then just spams nonsense.
 
I reinstalled macroquest completely and reinstalled tradesman, but now I'm getting two errors 1. Move to reinforced jewelers kit as mesh is not loaded/working and another telling me to go back to the jeweler table, but I can't get anything to work now the table or reinforced jeweler kit. Is there a fix? EDIT: I figured it out, I needed to have everything on the shopping list including items to make the subcombines for it to work. Kind of annoying I had to look up every subcombine and see what I needed and make/buy it but I basically bought all the parts / transferred them onto my toon and viola!

I just purchased this tonight, tried testing it on my rogue as I had her already filled up with tons of supplies I was manually doing. It started off good on the first couple of recipes, then I started getting chain messages that "You cannot combine these items in this container type! and marking recipe learned to skip it. After a few of those I /end the macro to see what was in the container, and cross referenced with EQtraders, and the recipe the macro was trying isn't even a recipe.
For example, currently it has Innoruk Emulsifier, Luclinite Laced Laburnum Extract, Luclinite Laced Poison Vial, Suffusing Suspension Fluid.
According to EQ traders, the only combine Luclinite Laced Laburnum Extract can be in uses a regular Emulsifier, not an Innoruk. The rest of the items are fine. And I do have plenty of regular Emulsifier's in my bags.
How do I know if it marked it as learned and skipped it if it skipped the right recipe or an error one?
I just tried running it again, and It tried to make Myrmidon's Sloth XIX and again is putting in the wrong emulsifier then skipping the recipe

Tried again today, after grabbing most of the items on the shopping list it fed out. again stared to make a couple recipes fine then started making wrong recipes.
case in point..last entry reads

Making (28101) 1 x Myrmidon'sSloth XIX(ToL)
for:0-9/1x Innoruuk Emulsifer
for:0-1/1x Luclinite Laced Laburnum Extract

Something is wrong with the recipe or the macro, ormaybe just a UI bug!

According to https://www.eqtraders.com/items/show_item.php?item=61531&menustr=035000000000the recipe for Myrmidon's Sloth XIX (ToL) uses Luclinite Laced Oleander Extract, not the Laburnum Extract

After which it just loops this recipe giving the same error.

I'm not sure where the source file is grabbing the recipes from, but so far this program making skill ups take longer then when I was doing it manually.

I tried starting with poison making b4 I went to my main character and all the normal tradeskills as I have found poison making to be the easiest of all the tradeskills. I might give alchemy a try next to see if I run into the same problem or not.

Suggestions?

update, I ended up just stopping at the wrong recipe and manually put in the correct recipe and now the program is running again.
 
is there a variable in the code I can modify to change the number of recipies it will go through before it just stops or the number of items I DONT HAVE in a recipe before it doesn't even bother adding it to my shopping list?

What I do at times is see what I am missing from my recipe book (/output recipes smithing, then upload to http://eqrecipes.free.fr/) and then make all things that are velium: /mac ts/tradesman smithing learn "velium" -- and this goes through and only learns things with "velium" in the name that I am missing from the list. That's how I get around a hundred recipes that I don't have TS mats for.
 
How can we use TS containers like spell research kits? I was trying to work on research while not running back and forth from bazaar to pok for items. Can we use it with a kit in inventory?

I believe it only functions with environmental containers. You can see the settings for that in the tradesman.ini.

This not only functions for the stationary tradeskill containers in PoK, but also in the guild halls, towns, etc. If the Plane of Knowledge is too inconvenient, the spell research table can be used inside your guild hall, or the other tradeskill types in the bazaar also function.
 
its not intended for leveling up 1-300
Although it CAN be used for leveling up. On new characters I will, for example, force learn the velium plank recipe using tradesman, and then once it's a learned recipe (with 1 or 300 combine attempts) I then use the normal tradeskill UI to make about 3000 of them to max to 300 + max trophy.
 
Finished Poison making with this, worked great, Working on Researching, also working great. Took a break from researching and tried Fishing....problem.... It starts to go through the recipes to see what I know and gets to

I've tried to go to Tradesman-Block and block all 4 of those and it still tried to learn and loop.
 
not a huge thing other then unnecessarily slowing down, but I /mac ts/finditem "name" at a merchant and it was randomly targetting items in my inventory and offering me plat for the item (it did not sell the item to merchant) then it would buy the proper items from the merchant.
 
Finished everything but tailoring and tinkering with some minor issues I was able to work around. However I'm having an issue with Tinkering. I got to 335 and now it's not populating any more recipes or ingredients to farm.

But Water of Brell Serilis isn't an actual thing according to EQ traders or allah. Blessed Water of Brell Serilis is, but I've made the recipies it asked me to do earlier, and it is saying I only need 1 but I need 15 more skill ups so 225 more recipes.
I had a similar issue, i had to up the number of recepie items i was looking for in the file itself. I turned it up to 1000 and it worked great. I got an absolutely massive list out of it, so maybe 500 would have been better, but i got to 350 pretty quick after that.

turned out I made 2 stupid mistakes, 1) I had 1 cultural book I missed reading, 2)...I didn't realize I missed buying the last 3 Tinkering AA's..../facepalm
 
Is there any way to limit recipes per expansion? Now that I am getting close 350 on all of my TS, most of the lower expansion recipes are really esoteric and require crazy ingredients. There aren’t enough slots in my inventory for all of it. So if I can just have a certain expansions TS items on me it would really limit the inventory requirements.

Edit: this is mostly to limit the shopping list option to selected expansion recipes. I don’t know many times I have spent 100,000’s of plat on merchant items that I am pretty far away from being able to make (due to needing to farm rare items).

Yea, I’d like a bit more info on what precisely the macro is doing. It doesn’t sound completely hands-off... but I could also be wrong. Also, what does this do that uploading your “outputfile-fishing” (as an example) into the free online spreadsheets to determine completed vs not completed recipes doesn’t?

That is a good idea! Works for most but rough with baking and brewing since they don’t follow a name pattern. Thanks!
