Any chance finditem can search the shared bank?
Would be nice if it could. The in-game find window searches the shared bank.


Has anyone seen a problem with the CoV raid box, Scale-Plated Crate? When I run "make" it goes and tells me to put a bag in slot 10. I move the Scale-Plated crate to slot 8, and it says to put a bag in slot 8. I replace the crate with an 8-slot backpack and it works fine. Is the hyphen in the name causing a problem?

Edit: I did the shop command to purchase from a vendor, and now it's bugging out on a different container (Frosted Storage Crate).

Just disable the check for now (earlier post)

PS is your inventory closed/open when starting the macro ?
I have no idea why it broke, DB messed with the number of inventory slots/ui but surely that would not break it.

I am told now MQ2 only recognizes bags when there is something in them. All of the bags it had a problem with earlier were empty, so maybe that's why it was not recognizing them as containers.

Inventory all closed, bags closed, etc. Normally starting the macro will do a /clean, or will close it all in some other fashion.
I had my own hotkey for TS grinding: start the macro, close my windows in case the macro fails to do so (can have horrific issues with a ghost single-space container being opened), move to my waypoint (to make sure I am in the right spot and look a little less botty), and manually output a file I can upload to the TS tracking website).

Yeah seems broke since last patch, never had this problem before.
MQNext doesn't have this problem, so its a problem with the live version.

Missing Ice Cream Crunch and Ice Cream Cake recipes.... seems that the macro is not doing these after creating the various ice creams. I have to manually go in and do them. e.g. Lemon Ice Cream Cake, etc.

Recipes is there and will be done at some stage when you do baking.
Ice Cream is brewing
Cakes/Crunch is baking

/tradesman restart restart from the last known recipe

Should I only use Learn once and use restart from then on, or just keep going back to learn?

use learn. restart is meant to use if you just want to continue from the last recipe you tried, mean it will skip everything before it. not much use really, I use it when debugging.
 
Jande can you take a look at the following fletching recipes?

These all failed to execute for me. I think they break because the bowstave recipes list as "bow stave" in game (or may not be learnable?)

When you say it failed to execute precisely what do you mean.
It put the bowstave and bowstring in container ?
Hit combine and said recipe invalid ?

PS: I see what you mean with names, recipe name is bow staff but item is actually Bowstave... wtf... So trying to make it, macro will never find "Oak Treant Laminate Recurve Bowstave" in recipes needed to make the actual bow.

On vendors its called bowstave, consistency is not the strong point it seems.

Try the new release, I tried working around the naming issues.
 
Thanks Jande, I manually put them together since i was so close and those were what i had parts for. I was just noting that they were broken and the macro wasn't able to make them.
 
Jande, i'm having problems with finditem grabbing wrong items from bank like collectibles, banked gear, etc. There's something wrong with how it's indexing bags or bag slots somewhere. This is for tailoring so my find list is really long.

Is what you want in the shared bank perhaps ? that is not supported
 
Would that cause finditem to pull swords and collectibles out of bank bags instead of hides and silks?

finditem

Pulling from shared bank now supported.
Default is off (tradesman.ini [setting] SharedBank=0)

Had some weird issues I needed to work around
FindItemBank[<itemid>]
works for normal bank not shared bank. (shared bank always returns 0)
FindItemBank[<itemname>]
returns the ItemSlot 0-23 for normal bank or 0-5 for shared bank (see where this is going? 0 means bagslot 1 but which bank?)

Give me to zone and vendor name and I will add them for the release
In the mean time to add them yourself (if you want send me the new entries would be nice ts/ts_merchant.ini)

open merchant then run
/mac ts/merchant

And yes some of them I skipped/lost/never visited (tried to get the most common ones)

This thing refuses to work. It keeps asking for containers and when I put one in the slot, it asks for a container somewhere else.

fill up inventory with containers, put something in each container. There is a current mq bug checking containers, or use mqnext.
some encounter this others not, no idea why. started happening after last eq patch, guessing with the ui changes.

Personally happens with my Deep caverns collectibles case.

Wanted to make some screenshots of it.
first time returns 0
put collectible in it, reran. returns correct
take collectible out, reran, still correct.

Seem on initial char load the problem is there until something gets put in it

looked at the code. to confirm this is broken in mq2 but works properly in mqnext.

you might be able to work around it temporarily by opening the container putting an item in and then taking it out.

Yeah, why I recommend to just leave 1 item in there for now, the bug comes back when you zone.
 
Need to have at least 1 item per bag for it to start, didnt happen before

Would only do a few Faded Velium Player made augs for research, woudnt make them all, had to do by hand recently.

ONLY WAY TO DO RESEARCH, unless your a glutton for punishment...
 
I keep getting an error that a container is not in slot 9 .. I have moved all my containers ... Oh I see others having problems

Inventory slot 11 and 12 from perks do not work ?
I will not be supporting it unless it becomes accessible to everyone gold/f2p

I do not have it myself nor do I plan to ever get it.
What is it saying when it pauses ?
