Release Tradeskill recipes (max out Artisan's Prize) (1 Viewer) 4.07

So, I thought I had learned all 4008 recipes for research (minus 4 scribed swatches). When I do a check at , it says I am missing 64 recipes. I have checked a few and I did not make them, so I assume I am missing them all.

What happened to the 64 that the macro is not recognizing them?

You do not have to learn every recipe that counts, there is leeway.
You have already learned enough recipes from the list below to get to 350.
You should be at 350 already

Probably some new recipes were found that also counts towards 350, have not updated my list in a long long time. Besides that I need to find the recipes for all of those, sometimes the recipe is unknown.
 
Just a quick question on this. Is the final aug tradeable on FV? If so is it repeatable? I'm totally aware that I will have to max out tradeskills on my entire group but having one do all the quests and PoP progression would be the best way for me to do it.
aug is not tradable on FV, best way to go about it.
make earing/signet on one character with planar progression for the group.
erons has notrade parts so each character needs to do that.

PS planar progression on FV is not a minor, people sure like to kill the bosses.

So, I have been using fletching a lot lately, trying to get to 350 and I came to an issue where I would have 1 or 2 of an item in my inventory and I would need 50 or 60 of them to complete combines, and it wouldnt add it to my shopping list. then when it had used the 1 or 2, it would add 48 or 58 to the list when it could have added it before. This caused numerous extra trips to POK to do vendor stops. Which was weird casue for some reason finditem wasnt working. I assume i did something to it, but it was requiring me to buy everything manually.
 
shared bank is not supported
bag 10 is used to drop item into that is made, probably not tradeskill flagged ?
well when I use the TS find option and have the bank open it will pull from everything but shared bank and I keep most TS stuff in shared bank since alot of other containers are not able to be put there due to lore or no drop.
I will have to double check the other thing
 
so doing Smithing today and seems like its stuck on a lot of recipes that have items that are quested, can these quested ones be done later? how do I get it to move on past this to other recipes

So, I just finished research 350, yay! I was waiting for the end to see if I actually used all this stuff. It seems like research, for whatever reason, will overbuy all the expensive scroll solutions up front. I think it blew through about 1-2 million plat the first time i ran ts\finditems (mostly the 5k binding solutions but also almost all of the purple pots). If there is some way to count the # of farmed scrolls in hand and only buy those, that would be awesome.

At the same time, it consistently underbuys inks, quills, thickeners, etc. I'm not sure how or if it is keeping track of those but it's not counting properly. I spent a lot of time on 2nd runthroughs pausing, going to buy the inks i was out of, and continuing.

I just got this, but curious if it happens to do autocrafting that will bring my skills that aren't 300, up to it based on materials in inventory, or if it is solely for the 300-350 game

It gets stuck doing anything tailoring/smithing with acrylia because it cannot resolve that step. Is there a way to easily enter the recipe for permanent usage?

solely 300-350, it make a recipe till it learns it then moves on to next on. not suited to 1-300.

Congrats, the overbuy is not supposed to happen, I will have to figure out why that happens.

Jande, a couple more things on Baking:
1. Noodles subcombine wants to use Shissar Egg instead of Free Range
2. Mixed Egg subcombine wants to use Alligator Egg instead of Free Range

Lots of other resources here and elsewhere on getting 1-300 in various skills. This mac is specifically designed to take you from 300 to 350 (and it works very well ... I've taken at least two toons entirely to 350 in all skills using this).

Have you run the macro yet? A master shopping list would potentially CRUSH your open bag space long before you'd buy all the stuff you need. I can see scenarios where your skillups grind to a halt because you buy all of everything you need, but because of bag space you never get to like one or two ingredients for the final combines. You'd end up with 90% of the ingredients for all the combines and not 100% of anything.
 
Lately I have a problem with the finditem and my bank, it always just opens up first bag and puts first item on cursor.. use to work, but was using a 5 or 6 back version. using current now.

have tried moving bags around different bag in first etc. always does the same thing.

Make sure you have bags in all your inventory slots and all bank slots

on my newer toon, what I did was just make the ToV/CoV sub recipes for each one because I had 1000s of matts for ToV/CoV.
so for instance say Blacksmithing, I just did the combine for "Velium sheet" or "restless velium sheet" which has a trivial of 423.

So I just go to 50 and run got the trophy task (always do your trophy at 50)

then just hit autocombine till I was at 300, did this for each TS.

Don't hit autocombine (assuming you were being serious) ... use combine.mac. I *think* it comes with the standard VV compile, but if not... see below.

This is strange to me, the last time any code in that section was changed is 7 Jan 2020.
Are you using vv mq or mqnext ?
VV MQ, so I try it on all my alts and it works, just not on my main.. is there any debug command so I can see what its trying to pickup and maybe move it out or something?

Wondering if it is not a bag name that is causing havoc.

well did that kind of stupidly, but its working now.. I just looked for everyone that showed something and manual searched and picked them up.. I did notice that occasionally it would list that first bank1 slot 1, also that last item was in my shared bank. so not sure if that just fowled up the whole script or what.

Yep shared bank does foul it up

add it to the nodestroy in tradesman.ini or use eq advanced ts interface to make them (as you now know the recipe)
 
1)Why is the program starting right off with obscure old quests that are 9 levels into a quest set (Fine Green Perfume Bottle sketch - Coidaru and Kathryn to get it from Potter Subira )
Jawless Skull is another example.
2) Can't you have this program auto-but from vendors? Seriously we know this is possible.
3) Need to be able to eliminate ridiculous recipes and ignore it at our discretion
4) The SHOPPING LIST gets JAMMED UP with these things. One of the things it wants me to do RIGHT OFF is get the ARENA LION SKIN! This requires me to completely work my faction just for this one recipe!!! Seriously?? Cant we start with the low hanging fruit? My shopping list is jammed up with these quests. WTF. The first time I use this is Pottery and this is what I run into.

There is SO much more this program could do for the money we are paying for it. Can it please get more user friendly and more workable? After first try I am underwhelmed. Please restore my faith if it is possible.

Feel free to exercise some personal discretion and responsibility as this macro does the insane job to mostly automate a task that is super overwhelming and borderline unattainable for most players. Also, the description clearly states what this does (and does not) do.
 
I am doing pottery. is there a way to make it fire the unfired items it makes? I am having to do it manually.

It does fire them. Which recipe are you seeing that doesn't.

Make sure that you have all the ingredients for the firing combine.
Make sure the setting in tradesman.ini is as follows, If moving to container is disabled well then it won't fire them either.
