Release Tradeskill recipes (max out Artisan's Prize) 4.07

So let me say, this is just about the most useful MAC I have ever seen. My only ask would be (maybe it already exists) is if you could get the mac to identify what is in your inventory and make every recipe that can be made with stuff you already have on you, before sending you shopping. Not sure if this has been asked for upthread, but that would be a HUGE benefit.

Thanks Jande!

that is what it does? isnt it?

Probably not explaining myself well, the mac has sent me on multiple shopping excursions for items it thinks I need, when in fact, I could still do hundreds of combines with what I already have in my bag. I guess that I mean is, I was hoping it would exhaust all possible recipes I can do with what I have on me, before sending me to get more stuff.

If you let it run through all the recipes then it would, default is to stop after 30 that need items. Takes a while to run through everything but that is the only way to know what can be made.

Defaults on install changed.
if you want to run the whole list, in tradesman.ini

@jande can you confirm that the pottery combines for block of clay / small block of magic clay are working properly... I'm at around 340 skill and right now its blowing through damn near 1000 waters just doing conversions and reconversions back and forth between small blocks and blocks of magic clay.... I can't imagine that's how it's supposed to work. Should I set it to do less subcombines?

Also, one small update:

You have the incorrect recipe for "Unfired Obsidian Scale Crescent Shield Ornament"

Your recipe has 3 dream infused clay. The actual recipe only requires 2.

Does not sound correct. Give me a recipe where it happens and I will take a look. Conversions has always being a pita

Will this macro work on a new TLP? I would love to give it a try and work on tradeskills while leveling. Thanks

New TLP is truebox, MQ does not run on truebox.

FAQ:
Does it work on TLP?
Not supported at all on TLP, difference is too big. Recipes/inventory/ingredients all differ or exist on tlp and not live or live but not TLP. Some things from that era autolearned on live or does not count towards the 350 goal then they are not included in recipe list e.g Banded. Most TLP are truebox and mq should not be used on them anyway.

Hey man, just following up with you on this. I managed to max out pottery, so I didn't experience the behavior again. I'll try to go back and see if I can reproduce, but I'm not sure what will happen now that I'm maxed.

I have a question which is gonna sound kinda rude, but Why does this macro unload MQ2tstrophy?

From the commands page.

; wait seconds after automatically opening a new tradeskill container for trophy switch ( 0 for off: default, 2=do not mess with my plugin, >2 value in seconds to load and wait for it to update)
tsTrophy=0

Code:
Could not find the -1 itemslot

When we get that error, is there any way we can force a combine attempt so the macro continues? Right now I regularly get hung up at that error with an item on my cursor and anywhere from 1 to 5 items in the static ts container. I'd like for it to drop the last item on cursor into the container and attempt a combine just to get the macro going again.

I had this issue last night. like when trying to make faded velium katar it would get stuck every-sing-time i failed it. Think it took 3 or 4 times annoyingly.

that error occurs when it is trying to drop it into the container already so another attempt would not help. this error is one of the bad ones where I have no idea what to do.

Is there a way to check an error state? or maybe a check in the loop that says if you've been holding something on your cursor for longer than x amount of time you /autoinventory and attempt a combine on the container you have opened? That would clear the error and force the macro to continue, I think.

No way that I know of to check that error state, could try a timeout on cursor item.
Now to force an error to see if my planned change will work...

Happy to help test it. I'm guaranteed to get that error a few times within about 10-15 minutes of letting the mac blow through all the recipes.

Currently having an issue with POP tradeskill combines (elemental armors). It keeps picking up items liek "bar of molten ore" when it needs to make "enchanted bar of molten ore" and freezing out until i make the bar manually

This in smithing, which recipe?
assuming Enchanted Molten Bar no such item as bar of molten ore exits

Please be accurate in bug reports it helps not wasting my time.

Im paraphrasing, but yes. Anything that uses the enchanted bars of metal from POP. Currently stuck on enchanted bar of immaculate steel

i just did smithing a couple of weeks ago and didn’t see this behavior. You sure it’s not eventually getting to the combine?

Nope. Totally frozen. Will not do anything. It tries to put the wrong item in the forge and then gets all wonky. It might be a sympton of something else, but its def stuck.

Drop the item (if you're holding one) into inventory and manually hit "combine" on the container. Let us know what happens after that (it should continue).

I have to pull all the stuff out of the container, put the right metal in, add the mana thing, hit combine and it starts running again. already went over that part.

learned something about the trouble i was having earlier. has to do with the combine failing and not having something which is made in the precombine. its putting a similar named item in the tradeskill container and getting stuck.

it seems that the find item does not look in shared bank, and also if you have a Extraplanar trade skill bag in slot 10 it wont use it.
or am I doing something wrong?

shared bank is not supported
bag 10 is used to drop item into that is made, probably not tradeskill flagged ?

So, I thought I had learned all 4008 recipes for research (minus 4 scribed swatches). When I do a check at , it says I am missing 64 recipes. I have checked a few and I did not make them, so I assume I am missing them all.

What happened to the 64 that the macro is not recognizing them?

Another nitpicky thing... doing fletching,
Oak Treant Bowstave is listed in my shopping list as a basic item when its really a precombine of Straight Oak Treant Branch
As is Supple Treant Bowstave, Oak Treant Laminate Bowstave

Just a quick question on this. Is the final aug tradeable on FV? If so is it repeatable? I'm totally aware that I will have to max out tradeskills on my entire group but having one do all the quests and PoP progression would be the best way for me to do it.

I am not sure about FV, but just to be clear. You need to consume the 3 lower level quest items to make the augment.

So you would need to do the 3 quests, make 1 augment, then do the 3 quests again in full ...

The only think that you do not have to do again is the Pop Progression. So doing it all on 1 character does not save that much in my opinion.

I guess yeah it's only saving one minor aspect. Especially since I can trade all the combines. Good point, thanks!
