Release Tradeskill recipes (max out Artisan's Prize) 4.07

this got me to 350 baking, blacksmithing, pottery. i just started research, but it will not run through all 4008 recipes. it starts at 561 and stops at 624. i had ingredients in my bags for a spell outside those numbers and it did not make it (never learned the combine). i made it myself and learned it. any help will be appreciated.

Send me your tradesman.ini

Please note the default is 30 recipes needing ingredients before the macro stops, change recipeFarm=30 to recipeFarm=0 if you want to make the whole list.

Ok i'm tailoring as a Gnome. It's telling me to buy

item5=Dark Robe Pattern
needed5=3

I can't get those as I'm not a Dark Elf so want to block the recipes that ask for it. I go to tailoring-recipes.ini and search for "Dark Robe Pattern" and find, for example:

[Recipe40240]
ItemName=Robe of Ellipse
Container=Loom
SkillType=Tailoring
Item1=Dark Robe Pattern
ItemC1=1
Item2=Ellipse Runed Swatch
ItemC2=1
Item3=Golden Black Ribbon
ItemC3=1
Item4=Teir`Dal Needle
ItemC4=1
Items=4

I then go to tradesman-block.ini and find 40240=gofarm and change that to 40240=BLOCK. I do that for all recipes asking for a Dark Robe Pattern. I run /mac ts/tradesman tailoring learn again and the shop list again asks me to buy 3 dark robe patterns.

I re-check tradesman-block.ini and it's changed back to gofarm.

How do I block a recipe?

When unpausing the Macro, it does not like 'Guild Loom" or "Guild Forge" ... it does not know its a "Loom" or a "Forge" so the macro cannot be /mqpause off. You have to start over.
Can this be fixed?

I do not understand what you are doing ?
Which recipe ?
You are in a guildhall ? which one ?
run the macro and then it runs
then something
and it pauses ?

Does it throw an error message before the pause ?

Yes I would like to fix this. It works in my grand guild hall. I have a suspicion there is other forge/loom that have a different item name, just cannot find it.

do
/items forge
/items loom
What does the mq window show.

Biggest issue I've ran into in some of the guild halls is it will try and target "iron forge shield" or "war forged axe" that have been hung on the wall. I have to make sure to start it in the trade skill room to avoid this.

I have the same problem in PoK. while running through round of /mac TS Tradesman XXXX Learn, it will pause and say "Open Loom in EXPERIMENT mode" Followed by move to loom as mesh is not loaded/working. so I go to the loom and open it up in experiment mode. Then enter /mqpause off but after a few seconds it simply says "Open Loon in ..... etc."

Sounds like you turned the automove to container off
For it to move to container and open it automatically
move2container=1

Ill have a look when its turned off what is going on.

This is a fantastic macro :)

I've come across a bug where it fails to open the Reinforced Jeweler's Kit in experiment mode. The kit keeps reopening until I click on the experiment button and then it continues as usual.

I've included the log extract below which shows the subcombine it was attempting

[2021/04/14 06:36:20] [MQ2] Recipe 1203 / 1406
[2021/04/14 06:36:20] [MQ2] Making (34582) 1 x Marquise Mount Palladium Earring

I had to set up a new computer and reload all of this - when I run this mac now, for the skills, it only runs through about 300-400 recipes before it consolidates a shopping list.
It's weird - what am I doing wrong?

Defaults on install changed.
if you want to run the whole list, in tradesman.ini
recipeFarm=0

Keeps saying there isn't space in bag 10 when bag 10 is empty.

So have to put it in inventory and restart macro over and over and over after each combine, its REALLY annoying

What kind of bag do you have in space 10? Try putting a large, non tradeskill bag in that slot.

Well just put a container with more than 6 slots in that spot. It is only check at startup, no idea why you say after each combine.
/for tmpI 23 to 32 {
/if (${Me.Inventory[${tmpI}].Container} <6) {
/echo \awPlease put a container in slot \ag#${Math.Calc[${tmpI}-22].Int}
/return
}
}
/next tmpI

I think I found another item counting issue. Shows I have 2/1 Storm Ent Sap and wont do any combines to make the curing agent due to needing 3 Storm Ent Sap.

I came here to bump this thread so that newer people can see this. This macro, in my opinion, is THE single most powerful macro offered in on this site, with the exception of kissassist. It’s insane the advantage this gives you as you try to max trade skills.

I'm using this macro to work on my baking, and I'm looking at the shopping list that's being output into the log file. Obviously the shopping list is a list of items I need to go acquire, but what is the sub combine list? Am I supposed to go manually do those subcombines?

nope, subcombine list is kept for the ts/find.mac. If you have some subcombines left over from previous runs in the bank/housing.

Ok, so for the purposes of going out and farming I should be able to ignore those then? I *thought* so, but then I noticed the subcombine list mentioned Ice, and even though I had all of the mats on me to make Ice via Ice of Velious, it wasn't actually making them, so I thought I was looking at the list wrong.

probably should change it, ice of velious was super rare so never used it to make ice. recommended the recipe with the tinkering item to make it.

tinkering one

It appears some items are not properly being added to the shopping list when using Research.

This is what I was trying to craft.
1=Ability: Enchant Conflagrant Platinum (x1)|Research|1
2=Ability: Mass Enchant Conflagrant Platinum|Research|1

After looking over this screengrab it also appears it is not properly calculating the Empty Vial (Blacksmith Gerta in PoKnowledge) reporting 4/1. It did this twice in the screenshot.

It is also miscounting Ruby
1620935908463.png

Also not doing combines with all items in inventory

if it helps you at all, I went and bought 10 empty vials and the combines worked.

trying to track it down, not much playtime atm

If it helps narrow it down. I believe it has to do with the Mass Enchant line. I ran into a similar issue with another Mass Enchant ability. I was able to "correct" it by writing out the subcombines in the ini.

I wanted to stop and say to Jande (as well as the community) THANK YOU for this amazing mac!!!!

I just hit 5 of 8 TS to 350 and have Pottery, Baking and Research left!

I was resigned to the fact I would NEVER get to 350 all - but with your help, I will be there.

Amazing is all I can say - simply amazing!

Anyone know how good this works in classic / kunark eras?
it is designed to max out all recipies for artisan prize - you don't have artizan prize

its definitely not designed for your usage - but maybe jande would have a better explain

Thanks, friend - yeah looking for something for blacksmithing, jewel craft, research, etc. but classic-velious max type era.

Not supported at all on TLP. Recipes/inventory/ingredients have a lot of differences even inventory slots is not the same.
Some things from that era autolearned on live or does not count towards 350 so ignoring those e.g banded

Besides that most TLP is truebox so you should not be using MQ on them anyway.
