This would be one of them. You have to be 300 or more to attempt it.

Kind of unexpected for me never thought about this scenario.

What was the combine ?
Skill is at ?
Dreamy Fine Cheese
I don't recall skill level but I believe it was sub 100

This should have allowed you to move past it, very curious why it did not.

My plan is to now catch the text that says you are too inexperienced then just move past it, on subsequent runs it will try again which I am fine with.
It was the first thing I tried and therefore of course the last thing I remembered to document. I thought it should have worked as well.

That's great, keep up the amazing work!

Just making sure that you are aware that this is intended to be run at 300 or greater skill ?
You will be wasting a ton of ingredients if you try and learn it with less than 300 skill.

Wasn't using the macro at the time, but I had it happen when I tried to make ToV T3 augs (type5s and 7s using research) and I had forgot to enable my trophy. I have a natural 314 research skill even without trophy so the requirement is somewhere north of that.

So im trying to do pottery. It keeps pausing and saying go to pottery wheel in experiment mode …. I'm there. in experiment mode ….. its an endless loop.

Any suggestions?

Edit: I figured this out. Cant unpause the macro. I had to run it from the beginning. I wish I would un-pause. Its a big time sink waiting to scroll through all the recipes again. Also, I wish I did not have to run back and forth from the Kiln to the wheel...

I am working on Baking at the moment, and find that i am constantly getting stuck on the kiln and under the table where the mixing bowl is.

I figure this has more to do with Nav than this macro, but wonder if anyone had made any adjustments / waypoints to try and stop this

There's still an issue with High Quality Ore. I have Block of High Quality Ore and a smithing chisel. This will make Large Brick of High Quality Ore but it's telling me to buy Large Brick of High Quality Ore from Gerta, who is of course out of stock. Should it not try to make the item first?

Not if it knows it is sold by a vendor, that change is not done yet and will take a while for me to be satisfied nothing else break.

Was trying to do some Jewelcraft in Guild Hall, with the Guild Jewelry Making Table
But macro ending with Jewelry Table does not exist in zone

What skill tends to have the most merchant things? I doubt I want to maxx it but it would be neat to grab up all the easy merchant things

I am currently working Baking. I am doing more running back and forth between the mixing bowl and the oven than anything else.... Also, I seem to be making lots things that are not "learning". Is there a way to address this?
Edit: What I mean is that I already know the recipe.

There are a few recipes I cannot find - this is the command i'm trying
/mac ts/tradesman fletching make "Faded Velium Arcane Staff

/mac ts/tradesman smithing make "Faded Velium Axe
/mac ts/tradesman fletching make "Faded Velium War Fork
/mac ts/tradesman smithing make "Faded Velium Short Spear
/mac ts/tradesman smithing make "Faded Velium Scimitar

Is this where we can make TODO/requests?
Would be awesome if the following was possible:
1. Command to Flag items in inventory that are no longer needed because the recipes are already known. Like place them in Bag 10, or 1.
2. Make ALL the sub combines, or recipes that don't have sub combines, FIRST and in the quantity needed for the remaining, unknown recipes.
3. Fix the bug where sometimes the last item made sticks to the cursor and pauses the macro.
4. Fix bug where the "/mqpause off" command will back up the macro to the recipe that triggered the pause.

1. not possible as it would mean running though every recipe and check which will take more time than it is worth
2. see 1
3. Only time it should ha;ppen is when you are out of inventory space
4. need more info, never seen this happen

Is the recipes it is making in subcombines ? The only recipes it will attempt to make is recipes that is unknown e.g /outputfile recipes tradeskill and uses that to filter out your know recipes.

Make sure that the file character_server-tradeskill.ini is actually created (the /outputfile is taken and made into an ini by the macro)

When I'm searching my mule inventory for needed ingredients, the macro will not find any sub-combine items. For example … all the Beer battered and smoked meats will need to be re-made if you moved them to your mule and rely on the macro command to pick them back up.

Just bought this today. I'm actually reading the directions, FAQ, and discussion threads before attempting to use it.

Am I correct in assuming that tradesman.mac, tradesmanv1.mac, and tradesmanv2.mac are all currently identical? I find it somewhat confusing that there are multiple naming conventions for what appears to be the same macro. So I loaded them all up in Notepad++ and checked some random lines and they appeared to be identical. Or am I missing something?

All the versions are identical, a holdover from when it started first one was tradesman, second came tradesmanv1 with some huge changes to test first and third v2 with more huge changes. The adventerous ran later versions and when everything was finally debugged only one remained, Still releasing the others as I do not want to break peoples hotbuttons and I do want to overwrite older versions on an update.

Probably should just do a wrapper for v1/v2

Love this so much! Was up to about 315 skill in all categories for many months but couldn't get motivated to keep going. I had been accumulating supplies for making "Ice Cream" related recipes (Baking) since Ice of Velious is so common now. By filtering for that phrase it made the material management almost trivial since many recipes use nearly identical components. Went from 315 to 325 in less than an hour!

The only thing that caused me pause was the need for a tinkered Diyhdrous Oxide Glaciator. Once I realized this was for the "temporary" Ice and that there are multiple recipes to make Ice. So I just made it manually before launching the macro the next time.

I like how a person can just /end the macro and grab some components, then run it again and each time it will make what it can.

I have a hate relationship with containers like Diyhdrous Oxide Glaciator / glaze mortars etc, they do not allow you to do auto combines or search for the recipes. I find the manual clicking a pain these days.

Yes, I'm seeing this today too. While doing Baking I made all the different types of Ice Cream. I ran out of bag space so I moved them to a mule. Now I'm doing Brewing which uses those Ice Creams to make Malts and Shakes but the FindItem.mac won't pick them up off the mule. I don't mind making them all over again but I'm getting low on Ice of Velious so would prefer to use the components I've already made. It appears that the results of sub-combines are not entered into the shopping list. I'm drawing a mental blank on a simple way to deal with this.

I am working on it, going slow :( Basically a mess

overall excellent macro for sure. Only issue working on alts now, alt is beginner fletcher which worked great and journeyman smith not working
I tried:

/mac ts/tradesmanv2 trophy makelist bfletching --- which worked perfect.

/mac ts/tradesmanv2 trophy makelist jsmithing --- not doing anything, just starts macro and then stops no shopping list or combines.

Seems I did not put in the journeyman trophies yet. looks like beginners and apprentice is where I stopped

I got this - and WOW.... just WOW.

I had to buy 14 planar bags and will need more as I run this - fishing is almost maxed and pottery is flying!

Greetings.. no matter what I say, I still LOVE this macro.

I dont understand why I can perform a dryrun, then get ALL the shopping list items from vendors and inventory, then do the dry run again and have a completely new set of things to buy......

Post your tradesman.ini settings section can maybe explain it :D

I dont know why I have to start over... /mqpause off, is an endless loop. I have been in experiment mode before each time I un-pause it.
