Ok thanks. I'll need to do some research and see what's in that line. Was just curious as to why those weren't triggering, since they are pretty important "oh shit" defensives.
 
@ddonahue /multiline ; /war pause on; /stopdisc ; /disc Fortitude hot button will work for you to manually activate that oh shit for you. you'll have to make a separate hot button to then turn on war from pause via /war pause off

Thanks for that. I'll give that a whirl. In the meantime I switched back over to KISS. I can't for the live of me figure out why Fortitude won't kick off on its own. I always keep that button up as well as Furious, so I would think if it was because of something else using the same line was being used that button would be down at least some of the time.
 
Do you want fortitude to just fire off as soon as it's available rather than wait for a specific situation? Personally, I'd rather that be saved for when I really need it, not just whenever.

Oh, I'm in agreement. I'd rather have it fire off on its own in certain situations. It just seems like, in my opinion, that it doesn't kick off on its own using the plugin. I'm not sure what the conditions in the plugin are for when it should be firing off, but it's something I would usually fire off on large pulls (or ext target gets out of control) or when health gets pretty low.

it does, its part of the cascading defensives, and it is saved for when you don't have other shit - an example would be like coming back from a brez and culm/defense are down - fort is used as a "last bastion of hope in these trying times" situation since its such a long reuse.

For some reason, I cannot get my Warrior to attack named mobs. I dont know if I am missing a setting or did something wrong. He attacks and pulls non names just fine. Any ideas?
 
what named?

what zone?

what is your pull lvl min/max
- what lvl is the mob?


what is your radius/zradius

if you do a /war debugpull on and let it cycle, and then /war debugpull off --- what does it say when it gets to that particular mob?
 
I am in Sathir's Tomb. There are two named here that he wont attack. One is an apparition (seems to think its a named) and the other is Xalgoz the Arisen. Its only these two - all the other mobs are fine.

The warrior is 115 and the mobs are close to that (level 112-114)

His radius covers the one room we are in, his zradius is 30.

I am waiting on a pop to let you know if he attacks.
 
love the plugins, just started using mq2war, i added clicky item (staff of viral flux) to pullitems fine. my issue is war runs up to mob and hits clicky how to I adjust range of pullitem?

you don't, it will navigate to the mob within 90% range of the item's pull range and use it - if it doesn't have LoS on that navigation path it will end up running up to the mob until it does
 
I can't get the in game window to display correctly unless i use the default UI. Does anyone know what the MQ2War window EQ file requirements are to display the window? Then I can dig further, thanks!

this means you have moved the zerkerwnd.xml file and placed it in your custom ui folder - which you don't want to do.
 
Hey Sic, trialing out Mq2War on Test- very impressed!

The issue I'm having is that when set to pullertank he doesn't seem to return to camp after pulling. My War is happy to stand from where he shot his first arrow and go down with the ship.

Any ideas or settings I might be missing?

are you set to puller?

or is your campradius too large so the mob is now in your campradius or your campradius + your overlap buffer (if a group member was near you and hit)

mode 5 should run you back to camp after pulling assuming all your settings are good
 
My /war show only brings up a little sliver of the War Window. I can't get mouse to get a corner and expand it.

this is because you minimized the window and then exited the game - you will need to grab the corner and drag it larger - and/or click the minimize box on the top left hand corner
 
Its not working, I am unable to drag the box larger OR work the minimize box on the top left hand corner. What is the file I need to delete to get it back the way it was? Like a /reset ui?
did you adjust the file yourself or something? you shouldn't be managing the file yourself at all.

but if you had the window minimized when you exited eq, you will have to drag the bottom right corner to expand the window to the correct side

the window file is the same xml file for all of the plugins - so if you made adjustments to the xml it will adjust all of them
but i updated a little while back that the mode bar is now at the top

does mq2war allow for potion clickes? and how does one do it? i need to add a disease cure potion automated for specific instances for fights on rizlona server. can anyone help me with that?

there is no addclicky for handling cures with potions at this time - you would likely want to check out mq2react
 
What is the best way to have war as DPS assist?

I want the war im using to hit mobs and dps, but not gank aggro off another tank, i guess same for SK when roles are reversed :)
 
I am not sure it's possible. Did you try to put the war in assist mode?

yes absolutely possible.

he does tank type stuff based on his group role and his mode.

so if you want him to do assist stuff and not tank stuff, have him set as assist and not MT in the group window - then he will only do assist stuff and no tanking stuff (like taunting)
 
Oh great :) gonna be easier to make PLee practice skills in group without being killed due to aggro lol
 
How can I reset the current camp loc? If I change from Tank mode to Hunter/tank mode, I hunt for a bit. But if I change back to Tank mode it runs back to where I first put my toon in tank mode. The only way around this I have found so far is to switch to Vorpal mode then back to Tank mode.

your camp only updates if you go from a non camp mode to a camp mode - like 0 to 4

you can do a /war resetcamp if you want to reset your current camp to where you are.
 
Nevermind, think I figured it out. Had my medstart and end set to 0, lol. But Breather still does not fire in hunter mode until he rests.

well downtime stuff happens when you're not moving or fighting, so this would make sense.

It looks like we had actually put something in here specifically for pullertank mode, but not hunter tank mode to hit endregen.

let me poke around with this and see what's up
