I didn't notice it had added to the downtime clicky category. I tried manually adding it to the cures clicky list and deactivating it there. That didn't work. Deactivating it in downtime did the trick. As does adding Counteract Disease to my blocked spell list, but I like your fix more. Thanks, Sic.

yw dude, this (and its non fabled counterpart) will just get added to the "dont add this to automatic usage"

Howdy taco - there's not much information to go with there, but you can turn off slowing with /shm useslow off

if the mob is not slowed, or we think our slow is better than what is on it, we'll try and slow them

what is most likely is that your slow is being blocked or it is not landing for some reason (resists?). if you are using something that is blocking it, stop or turn slow off as sic recommended.

Hi, so sorry for the late response, so im on teek- and just started using the plugin, basically what is happening i have the shaman set to slow, and Heal loadout. If the shaman isnt casting heal or a buff, it is spamming turgurs spell on the mob even if it has it on. It seems like its being forced to keep casting a spell even if there is no need for it. So mob will be slowed. but shaman still spams slow (same spell) over and over if the tank doesnt need a heal

No, that's not really how it is setup to do that. Have any more information?

What is slowing the mob? Is the shaman spell actually landing?

Does the shaman stop spam to cast other abilities ?

If its a new shaman, is it sizzling the spells?

but you can use mq2buffme and request buffs

if your settings say to do a thing, we'll do a thing.

there isn't a healer "mode" it is a "loadout" for which gems to load.

if you dont want to nuke, turn off nukes, if you dont want dots turn off dots. or you can adjust the min mana values etc or your assistat value. but yep, it does what it is supposed to do

I am playing a super low level shaman (lvl 10) and he is buffing my Paladin and my Monk, but won't buff the rogue in the group. Is there something I'm missing to make sure he buffs the rogue? Thanks!

Buffing just requires that toon to be "local" so we can use cwtnbuffs to see what buffs they have how many slots they have access too etc.

If they're not local you can use !mq2buffme to buff them

howdy killerclown sorry to hear that - you are probably getting a red eq error message telling you what the reason for it is

Shaman FAQ

Q. Shaman is chain casting something?
A. There are a few lower lvl / mid level buffs that eq/mq reports stack that do not, or will chain overwrite other buffs and you get into a buffing contest with another toon. You either have this situation, or some other issues. I would suggest checking for the red error text that eq gives you to tell you WHY it didn't successfully take hold and then go from there. You can block anything you don't want cast. This is a built in everquest feature - right click on the buff and "add this spell to list of blocked spells" or go through the eq menu -> character -> blocked buffs

EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Buffs
EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Pet Buffs (to add to anyone's pet blocked spells)

/blockspell add me id
/blockspell add pet id

This is particularly a problem with the focus line, especially if you have a large level gap between the shm and your bst/clr (particularly if your shm is lower than the bst/cleric) - you can run into issues where mq2 says that it will stack, but then your armor of line will not actually allow it. Or the Wulthan Focusing portion of Talisman of the Wulthan doesn't stack with the cleric Armor of ___ line, so you need to block "Wulthan Focusing Rk. III" on your cleric, if you do the Rk. III it will block all ranks from you.
