has anyone pointed out yet that the shaman plugin will buff yourself first, then summon a pet, then buff again? can we make it so pet gets summoned, then we only buff once?

I would rather get my focus out before i do my pet, even if it is an extra cast after the fact, this is/was intentional.

all other spell mem buffs are after pet checking other than focus (other than summoning food, but that isn't a buff, only mentioned because of it memorizing - or preincarn/sow because that would be much lower level)
 
Odd bug. When I claim "Overseer Rare Agents x2" from "Elite Agent Echo" item given when retiring purple agents, the MQ2shaman plugin output window updates that : pullAA: Turgur's Swarm.

No, it isn't a bug.

We cycle through your spells when you get a reward received - in case spells or aas change etc. Due to how pull aas are stored/checked, it is gonna spit it out each time.
 
Hi Sic and CWTN, so very sorry for the contious quetions.

Shamans option USE CHEETAH ON

the aa description of this aa is listed as follows:

although the information on the AA tab says your tatgets group, i believe this has changed to group only.

Reasoning:

I am running 2 shamns in 2 diferent groups and the both are trying to cast it and its not landing on the group that none of the shamans are. Note: they are on XTarget Buff

Shaman #1 and Shaman #2 continues to try to cast cheetah on an XTARGET buff allowed player but there isnt a shaman in that specific group.

I adjusted how we do this specifically because of this AA back in August of 2020

can you just 100% confirm the person they are trying to cast upon is in fact an xtarget member and not a group member.

can you confirm you are not having red error stack checking errors

edit: can you verify you are or are not in a raid with raidmode on? I'm betting you are =p, which means this needs an update not to check raid members
edit edit: hrm nope, trying to replicate it with xtarget or with raid, and it isn't doing it

Hi Sic, every thing you had stated is correct with the exeption of confiming if im in raid mode. Yes in this istuation i am in raid mode. Thank you Note: come to believe this behavior does not exsist when not in raid mode. ince again than you
 
Request:
please consider to swap Dot "Obea" for the new "Tegi Pandemic" for the standard setup.
Motivation:
- I am happy with the standard setting and do not know, what would change if I start to use byos, apart from just the one spell swapped.
- "Tegi Pandemic" has the same casttime than "Obea" but delivers atleast 50% more dps. On top of that the inflicted dots run twice as long, which will save recast time on nameds.

I made a post about spells.

Yep. I plan on checking a few things, but we already do use pandemiccombo in dps loadout. Hexdot in 7, pandemiccombo is 5

On mobile ATM, will check later.

it does.

this means you're likely using a raid bp that gives you extended duration to composite. which we're going to use over shorter duration ecliptic

Before I try to make a React or other fancy thing I don't know how to do, does MQ2Shaman have any magic built in that checks for the bard epic buff before it fires up? If not, is the best way to solve that to add a cond in the Bard KA to check for the shaman spell and then fire the BoV?

No, we intentionally don't have that option. Bard will have a "wait for shm epic" but I strongly don't recommend shaman waiting for bard. They are too busy of a class, in our opinion, to wait.

May it be an option later? Maybe. Plans to do it? No

what are you using for automation? you didn't say or post in a place where it would indicate.

I have same problem. I know this is from a few years ago, and I saw the response from CWTN. Just curious if anyone found a fix besides turning off cwtnbuffs on all the characters and buffing manually.

No, unfortunately - that is how you have to handle that and you shouldn't use mq2 legacy and the mq2 legacy plugins. They are unsupported and will not receive updates.

There is a sticky pinned about cwtn class plugins and emu, please check it out
 
Group is sk, bard, rog x3 and the shaman. All are CWTN except of course the bard. Any help appreciated.
 
Any chance shams could please get a Shrink Pet toggle?

we already shrink the group - we're not going to have an additional toggle for shrinking the pet when that can cover it. shaman dog is also weird where double shrink can actually make it bigger.

Due to eq and how it handles models, we only shrink when over a certain size (2.04) specifically because a model/spawn does not give an indication on how small it can be, and we don't want to spam try and shrink something

I suggest and strongly recommend get a pet metamorph totem - bixie or viritik (spelling) are my recommendations, as you can see if they are holding weapons

Could you add a check box so that Lanquid Bite always stays enabled? Doing AOE's and an option to use it would be a nice to have.

no, don't plan on doing that.

we ONLY toggle it off when we go to use turgurs, and then we'll put it back if it was on previously.

I could see an argument to be made that we don't turn that off when useaoe is on - but we won't be adding another toggle.

would not toggling that off when useaoe is turned on meet your needs?

I'm not sure if this has been addressed or not, but I wanted to notify the powers that be. I am in a group with a cleric (with plugin) and a shaman (with plugin). They are both level 41 currently. The shaman is attempting to buff the cleric with Talisman of Tnarg and it won't hold due to Armor of Protection, yet he is continuously trying to do this. I know that I could block the spell on the cleric, but is there a way for the shaman to recognize that this won't hold and stop attempting? Thanks again for a great product with the plugins (I currently have 8 of the plugins), which make me very happy :)

That would be perfect actually. Since it would be clear that AOE damage would be going out.

Just wanted to follow up. I have been using AOE constantly since the change was made. Works great!!! Thanks for the update.
 
I asked a similar question about the Necro but having the same issue with the Shaman. Using MQ2Shaman and the need to target a specific player in the group to hit them with a cure. Tried with Assist/BYOS and Vorpal/BYOS and it kept popping back to healing the main tank/assist. Would I be best served to put a Cleric in the group or is there a way to make this work with the Shaman.
