So, in all but one scenario, the Tiny Terror fix is exactly what I wanted, thanks for getting that in.

One thing I've noticed in combination with the Enchanter using Night's Dark Terror (and it might be a TLP thing since the AA for pets to be counted as group members isn't available yet) ..
The Enchanter will use NDT on a pet, which then the Shaman tries to shrink with Tiny Terror, but the spell never hits the pet, so they try over and over and over.

would suggest blocking illusions on your pets (like Night's Terror)- there is no data that says xyz illusion has a max/min size so if we're over 2.04 we're gonna try and shrink them

you can /blockspell add pet 49288 if you just want to copy/paste and don't want to right click and add ignore or use the eq block pet buff character option thing

So, after blocking NDT, I noticed the same issue happened on a new pet summon, which would be resolved when the pet's owner used "Tiny Companion".
However, I found a more accurate reason it's getting hung up on it.. The Shaman is trying to shrink a pet with "Tiny Terror" as a group spell, but the pet isn't affected/a valid target of the group spell until a later era's AA allows it.
 
So ever since "Adjusted some extra unnecessary buff checking." update happened my cwtn toons no longer buff at all. The shaman also gets stuck chain memorizing spells while at 60fps.

since I'm not a mind reader, you will have to say what spells in what slots are chain memorizing.

and the buff checking was checking the file before seeing the ability was ready to cast in a few circumstances, so that is likely unrealted to the reason you "no longer buff at all".

I would suggest ensuring you have mq2cwtnbuffs loaded on the characters you wish to be buffed.

but if you're chain memorizing, you're likely not getting to your buff spot

I tried unloading and reloading mq2cwtnbuffs earlier. I see the files on the drive being updated from cwtnbuffs and I see it in /plugin list

The shaman has got stuck in loops with both Spirit of Bih'li / Quiescence and Tiny Terror / Quiescence. Which looks like spell slot 6

this is probably why i originally didn't add tiny terror to the shrink line, but i didn't leave myself a comment/note explaining it, so it got added when a request was made.

I'm going to remove tiny terror for the time being. Not sure if i will add it back. The current options are a: keep tiny terror and ignore pets with it, or b: use regular shrink that has worked just fine so I'm going to remove tiny terror.

@ventrik - scratch that

i'll just split the two and change our function for determining if something needs to be shrunk - we just won't use the group shrink on pets and will revert to shrinking them with the single target.

Tiny terror also has a much shorter range on it, so possibly times you'd end up wanting to use the other one anyhow
 
Not sure where to post or what info exactly you need but I will try here as buffing still isn't occurring across multiple plugins. Two weeks ago in raid mode all the cwtn plugins for classes that can buff would buff my raid and keep them fully buffed very well. Now they simply do not. Enchanter is not putting VQ on melee nor VoQ on anyone but themselves. Shaman no longer casts stat buffs on anyone. Clerics not putting symbol on other groups. Beastlord won't put spiritual dominion on other groups. mq2cwtnbuffs is on for everyone in the raid and they are all on the same PC. They just stand around not buffing =*(

you already posted and pm'd me and as you can see i'm still in the middle of doing updates and addressing issues today.

Sounds like you have a local pc issue since none of your toons are doing anything not just mq2shaman.

I would double check you don't have antivirus scanning your files or onedrive syncing them or somesuch as that can and will cause you issues.

and i addresses earlier "Adjusted some extra unnecessary buff checking"

You need:

not byos
mq2cwtnbuffs loaded on every toon
not invis or have a camp set
not trying to share the mq2cwtnbuffs file across a network - or across a directory --- meaning all have to be launched from the same mq2
not having your mq2 folders scanned/heldup by antivirus or file syncing like onedrive

testing 3 computers with various toons - buffing is all working as expected on all toons

buffing is working fine, clicked off all buffs in group and shm instantly redid them.

@Nuclearweapon I would hit the launcher, check the plugin tab, and ensure you download the patch that has been posted
 
Edit: Nevermind just saw the update notes about test:

Test server will need to byos or turn usesow off until rebuild

PS This is my first time seeing the raid buffing in action and it is super sweet!

Hey man, i updated 2x yesterday guess we just passed. tried today and im getting a pop up
" Sorry it looks like there was an issue.
The method or operation is not implemented
Please report this to management"

Tried DL from above and pasting into the folder. and i get a message cannot overwrite. no VV or EQ was running when i tried the DL and past method
No eq was running when i tried patching

1. you should use the updater and let the updater handle it
- if you had a lingering eqclient that didn't exit - or something else holding up your file - like an antivirus -you would get a failure.
-- you likely need to restart your computer, then run the launcher, go to the plugins tab, and update the plugin

2. if you are trying to manually replace a file - it has to be unloaded on every toon and everything that is trying to access that file.
- if you had a lingering eqclient that didn't exit - or something else holding up your file - like an antivirus - then you wouldn't be able to replace the file.

again. you should use the redguide's launcher to update

It looks like you have downloaded the file successfully
so if you manually did it and are having issues - you likely need to restart your computer as i mentioned

i had booted up from a clean boot, loaded VV and clicked update.

I did another reboot and then task manager to shut everything down that wasnt required and got it to update, tomorrow ill see if spam still there

There is a current issue in all the cwtn plugins, which is most noticeable with mq2shaman if you have useslow and usemalo (the single target versions) where you will recast debuffs. This has been fixed for next update.

in the meantime:
turn on usemelee - you are less likely to have this issue
turn off useslow, you can leave on useslowaoe
turn off usemalo, you can leave on usemaloaoe

retested today, no more spam. did a reinstall today of the plugin
 
Since there is a toggle for using the rez stick, I had an idea for another feature.

Would be nice to have an option to check if you have any Token of Resurrections on you, and use them first, before using the staff. Or if no new toggle, I know its a bit of a process to add new ones.. maybe just have the rez stick option, if its on, check for tokens, if no tokens use the stick?

I've thought quite a bit about rez tokens - its something that may or may not get added to all the cwtn plugins at some point (since anyone could use rez tokens) - but it's not a priority at the moment.
 
Noob questions.

1.) I six box so five of my toons are using Kissassist my Shaman is using Mq2shaman. He heals and buffs. He does not assist my main assist he just stands there looking around. I have dps on and melee also. If I manually click on the target then he goes ham. Not sure what I am doing wrong.

howdy brutaecus,

ensure you have your Ma assigned in your group window
ensure that you're in an assist mode - like mode 1 (you need to have mq2nav meshes setup - and it will kick you out of mode that uses nav into manual mode and notifify you if that is the case)
ensure that your campradius is set to the appropriate size you want - we won't start doing stuff to mobs outside that campradius
ensure that your assistat value is set correctly
ensure that your xtarget window is set to "auto add hater targets" so we know when we are fighting something

Is there a command to stop camping? My group is melee heavy and low levels so I dont need a traditional camp yet. I need him to follow the tank around the zone. I zoned into fob and it created a camp at the zone instone and he wont leave it without running back lol. Nevermind figured it out changed to mode 2

yup, if you no longer want to be in a mode, you would swap mode.

so if you don't want to be in assist mode, you would swap to a nonassist mode

/shm mode 0 would put you in manual mode, for example

You should take a peak > HERE < one of the videos/guides shows how i move my toons around and shows you how to get setup with hotkeys and such to manage your team

you need to set him to "assist" mode. /shm mode 1
 
I have a 3 zerkers bard sk and a shaman running MQ2shaman. The shaman seems to like to squall the swarm pets whenever they are low but actual PCs are at full health. Is there a way to have him ignore healing pets/swarm pets or I just need to turn pets off on everyone?

can you show me in the mq2shaman output where it says it is squalling on swarm pets? because i don't think that is a thing.

more than likely squall is ready and we have twincast, so we don't want to waste twincast so we refresh squall.

We check RAMA, then self for squalls, later on we check squall as single-target heal usage, which would include regular pets at 20% lower than owner threshold, but still meeting the threshold we set in the plugin - but we definitely don't check swarm pets.

if you hate healing and squall you can turn off squall :( /shm usesquall off
