Rogue may or may not start to take damage.
Chanter mezzes again and just a short time later I see the same spam.

Watching the rogue carefully I don't see where she switched targets.
I'm watching the spam in the MQ2Rogue window, I'm checking each disc and ability that is being used.
I found one that looks like an AOE but no idea how to stop the Rogue from using it.
It was late, my eyes were shot and I shut down for the night before making a note of the offender.
UseAOE is OFF. I checked that in the beginning and even "/rog UseAOE off" to make sure.
I'll run them for a while now and see if I can find it again.

yeah you'll need to say what ability you think is aoe - then we can affirm or deny that.

also would check your switchwithma being on or off and if your ma is targetting the mezzed mob.

are you SURE its not just breaking the mez on the mob you're fighting? aoe mez will hit the mob you're fighting too - and of course get broken since you're fighting it

Had a bit of a messy day today, lots of deaths, what also happened was i went through a lot of poison.

Is it possible to change poison use to NOT happen while rez effects are on?

Any other thoughts on how to handle poison application? I dont really want to restrict it to applying when in combat

int the mq2rogue video i suggest putting poison on during downtime.

its not going to skip when you have rez effects on you - but it won't do it in combat.

you should watch the mq2rogue video - I go over the around the 15:30 mark (and if you didn't watch the video you should as i go over all the other stuff)

 
I do have it in downtime. it puts it on at bind (when things have gone really bad), then takes a rez and puts it on again.
I am using the Draconic Poision, dont really want to be wasting them

Wouldnt bother me if i was using the pants clicky poison

Gotcha. Ill talk with chat and see if we can come up a magical way to not use downtimes with charges if we're in a safe zone
 
i see updates to most the others, is this getting one today too? tried loading on my rogues and theyre all jsut frozen now
 
All the plugins are recompiled each patch, updates notes are only put out when something specific to that particular plugin is adjusted.

it shows that you downloaded VV, but it didn't auto download your paid resources - check your plugins tab of the launcher

i dont have the launcher it will not run on this computer and we havent figured out why. i do all my updates manually, i jsut thought this would show as new when it got updated if needed liek the rest did.
 
Anytime EQ patches, we have to patch and rebuild all the plugins, so you need to download a new copy of any paid plugins every patch
 
ok what did i do wrong....
downloaded fresh mq2 vv, refreshed plugins.
all showing times after last updates.
clickies appear to be broken. i use milk and cookie dispenser normal login is watching it spam summoning the milk and cookies... now its not doing anything.
can summon manually, so its not the dispenser's. used /rog addclicky summon 20 with dispenser on curso... looked in config file it added it to clickies. under clickies for same thing in same format. clicky0=warm milk dispenser|summon|20

you are probably in a safe zone like pok/guild lobby

from the patch notes

- Downtime clickies will no longer happen in "safe zones".

ok so what do i need to change it to for it to happen at log on? i liked your video on feedme and it allows me to use stat food which i abhor eating and wasting.

frenzied is the primary burn disc
twisted is the secondary burn disc
executioner gets used after knifeplay and knifeplay gets used any time its up and we don't have rogue's fury and no active disc running

there's no way for you to modify the routines.

I just added the milk and cookies to MQ2React, these plugins will still do it in combat zones but react will get them in lobby or hall.
 
Did the update for the Duelist /Executioner disc line, the ability to make it a toggle, get implemented yet? Really sucks burning one of my two disc's on a trash mob before a named.

I typed /rog ExeIsBurn false and he still pops Deadeye Disc when it is up. I also checked the Mq2Rogue file for my character, and it shows ExeIsBurn=false

What am I doing wrong?

deadeye disc is your "twisted chance" line on timer 4 - which is only fired during your burn conditions.

executioner line is timer 3 - which uses the "ExeIsBurn" option as to fire during burn or regular combat.

so how do i disable the auto firing of deadeye? it' sthe only disc that auto fires on trash, single pulls, grey mobs, etc.

it doesn't the only call to that timer is during your burns like i mentioned. "deadeye disc is your "twisted chance" line on timer 4 - which is only fired during your burn conditions. "

I would double-check you don't have burnalways set or a too-low burn count

None of that is on, and it is the only disc that fires automatically. The rest kick off when i click burn all named, or burn always, otherwise, nothing else fires, as expected.

there is only 1 call for that ability and that ability is only fires in your burn routine (burnallnamed and target is named, burnalways, burnnow, or xtarget count is greater than or equal to your burn count)

are we talking about timer 3 the Exe which has the exeisburn toggle which you DONT have enabled which would make it use it all the time

or are you talking about the timer 4 "deadeye" which you brought up later and i addressed that you are mistaken.

because i've answered you several times but i don't think you're hearing what im saying.

Duelist Discipline is timer 3, which we call "executioner". You can toggle off full time usage by /rog ExeIsTurn on and it will use the timer 3 "executioner" line as a burn and not as a general dps.

You can see in your image you do not have it toggled on.

Ok, i think i read teh instrution wrong, it's counterintuitive. I want to turn OFF my always burn disc, and to do so, I need to turn ON the ExeIsBurn toggle.

I'll give that a whirl.

yes. if you want the executioner line to be treated as a burn you would want to turn on "Exe Is Burn".

and again - you started talking about other stuff.
 
Note, this may be an issue with the rogue itself and not MQ2rogue, but i have a rogue which has autodismount turned to off, and it still dismounts all the time. I just didnt know where else to ask.

well, you would want to find out what is dismounting it.

we only dismount if you have autodismount turned on.
 
New version is causing crashes. Assumedly more of a MQ2 problem than a MQ2Rogue (or other CWTN plugins) but it's only crashing those running CWTN for combat. I had to /unload until a new version is pushed out.
