wakethedead is so nice as well
i was going maxium adps for the mage/necro cause those are the two best caster dps
I recommend War/Enc/Cleric/2X-3x mage or Necro for the last spot...ranger/bard add nice utility too
 
hmm window not popping up ...output settings pulling etc there....how do I Get that window to load? all i have is the mq2chat window popping up

Make sure you are loading the plugin (/plugin mq2mage load), then if still not showing do a /mag show
 
course with me nothing is smooth lol not working....
did you click on any of the things i posted?

you likely have not loaded the plugin for the first time, and likely didn't follow the instructions it spit out saying that you need to reload your userinterface by doing a /loadskin default or a /reloadui

"ZerkerWnd does not exist. Try reloading your UI (/loadskin default)." is what would be spit out in your mq2 window.

i linked the cwtn ui video because it is explained there.

The bard is sentmental to me
have always ran bard in my groups
the mage/necro/dru dps is really solid
you can get away with druid heals on a high lvl sk
and my sk is also sentmental.
has always been the head of my groups
when i first started this game i was true three boxing necro/sk/bard
the necro was my first toon
 
Sic/CWTN strongly recommend adding a sub-routine that will summon and click: summon exigent servant and summon exigent minion. With the mage pet clicky build (Dancing Shard of.., Amulet of the Mariner, Vicious Rabbit, Rune of Tallon, Ceramic Raptor, Arx pet, and those two) it's part of the "pet build" max dps mage sub-routine.

This makes a huge difference both in burns in increasing the swarm count that stacks the "of many line" which can give a pretty nice boost ... which gets even better when there's 2+ mages together.

I have theses added via the addclicky command for burn.

Q. I am having a lore-group issue with a summoned item.
A. Currently we don't have a way of checking "do i have an item from this lore group that is different than the version of the spell i have". So if you summon an item, then get a new rank on your ability, you're going to try and summon a new one without regard for the new item. Hopefully this is something we can resolve, but in the mean-time it is what it is, unfortunately.
 
So started out rocking DPS.. now.. the mages (not the plugin) seem broke.. any real mages have recommendations for group content config settings?

"Lore Group: Modulation Shard" and "Lore Group: Summoned: Elemental Shard"

I don't need the list - I already made the list and pulled the item IDs.

I just need to know if there is another lore group that didn't jump out at my face

for purposes of this plugin.

I don't need to know about "oh well acktually, there is a lore group for crayons that make it so on tuesdays it is no longer taco tuesday, you can't have a blue crayon and a purple crayon" - just stuff that we'll be using in the plugins - mod rods, ele shards, etc.
 
I have mq2mage loaded I know this because I see the window but my mage seems to not be doing much he is not mem spells or even nuking any suggestions

I'm assuming you're super low lvl / tlp?

there hasn't been much done to the spell loadout for lower lvl stuff at the moment

so if you're like rizlona TLP - you'll want to manually memorize Firebolt of Tallon, Seeking Flame of Seukor, or Burning Sand - which are items that when you load the plugin it says are in "BoltOf" spell group, or "Sands", "SwarmPet" like rage of zomm

I was thinking about how this could do, maybe running in conjunction with the OMM macro or just manually done.. but being a monster mission, i wasn't sure how this would act when a toon isn't ACTUALLY a mage outside of that mission... would it detect things properly?

None of the plugins are designed or will work as a shroud. The abilities aren't the same, and it won't work as you'd expect in nearly every case
 
For the most part shrouds abilities are "AAs", so there is no memorizing, and casting AA's works differently than casting a spell from the spell bar.
 
Wow! all I can say is Wow, my mage who is admittedly only level 113 tripled his DPS, can't wait for him to hit 115 and max AA, great job thank you!!

And cast it at same time on all 3 at the start of the fight. Resulting unnessesary cooldowns, and in boss fights, not that many coalitions as there could be, if done in sequence. Had to put in on for only 1 mage, to avoid unnessessary casts and overides. Is it possible to make an check about if there is a Coalition already on mob, or not, before try to cast it? and maybe declare somesort of caster prior order...

yes, that needs to be adjusted - now it is still possible that they can end up all casting it at the same time frame - you would need to vary their autoassistat value 100, 99, 98 or something similar if you wanted them to "stagger" themselves, as none of the plugins talk with one another - they just look at the mob and do their own job

Nice. Will use old macro that I have for em, untill it's looked after.

I would also love to have it casting Restless Symbiosis (https://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/spell.html?spell=60310) automatically. It's annoying to keep with all 3 mages by hand. Possible to include it to buffs, that will be kept up?
 
Feedback so far has been good to get the bugs worked out. Pending an update to the plugin this is the current list of fixes/adjustments.

Code:
- Will no longer use Orb/Paradox during normal twincast.
        - Will no longer display SwitchWithMA in the UI.
        - Shock line will now cast if it's memorized.
        - Fixed typo in PetStance line.
        - ModShard, and Elemental Shard groups will now try to find Items in the same lore group.
        -- Please report if any are missing.
        - can now use /mage and /mag to issue commands for plugin.
        - We now check for the rank appropriate summoned items.
        - Alliance now checks mobs for the buff from any version of Mages alliance and class count
        -- or force alliance appropriately.
        - Low level characters should once again memorize spells.
        - You should no longer give up on buffing if you don't have a pet, and don't have reagents to summon one.
        - Add Symbiosis line to slap your pet around in exchange for mana.

Please let me know if I missed something that is causing you grief. Will try to get a new build out but want to get as many fixes as I can included.

From my research those are the only 2 Lore groups that effect the mage.
 
Also, before someone says something. The plugin does not delete items. So if you summon a bag of weapons, then the bag itself will remain even if we use all the weapons.

If we do consider specific weapons from the bag of weapons later on down the line, we won't destroy the excess weapons either.

The idea that some bug could potentially destroy something important to a player makes me take a step back from destroying items.

Nice, for sustained dps (if you're using multiple CWTN plugins) and to maximize overall output i'd add them all to battle routines to constantly weave them in. You want to keep as many pets up from as many sources as possible. You get the gist...more pets...more mages...becomes heavenly once you've got 6x clicky pets firing off 24/7 across all chars.

Ditto. If it's not too much of a pain to check for AND then cast that'd be a nice improvement for multi-mage teams.
 
I tried this a bit yesterday and i am impressed by the first "feel" of the plugin, however, i wonder if there is a command to see the burn sequence so i know whats expeced to happen when burning?

This... in my current setup I have 6x summoned pet's at the start of any fight. After first Rioutous Servant I have 9. After second, there's 12!!!! That put's Shockwave of Many kinda high on MY prior list...
 
Hey Sic, I know and understand the flexibility with the current business model. I was just tossing out an alternative for those that get them all and a way to hide/justify our addiction to our loved ones that may conduct an intervention! Keep up the great work and we appreciate you guys. Looking forward to when the Rangers get some love but you guys give me plenty to work with until then.

The first tab will show you watch the plug-in is doings step-by-step. They did a great job, my KA Ini had a few more bells and whistles or personalizations...but this is worry free. Can't wait to buy it.
