yep watching it now, at the part where i can edit my ini file, only issue im having is, cant load mq2grind ui, my edit window says MQ not MQ 2, does that matter?

also obligatory - you should consider upgrading to MQ "Next"
as mentioned in the video i linked above, the UI and some of the functions/features are Next only

For others: please don't copy the DLL from Live to Next or vice versa, you will just have a bad time. Currently while VV and Next are both supported, there is a 4 hour window from time of purchase to when Next version appears in the Launcher.

Kind of a loaded question. short answer yes. long answer: it depends on the makeup of your group. do you have a high level toon to take the low level guys and dps/kill for them?

Yes, my team should be fine. It is trying to find an instance that will allow toons between 85-94 that work with MQ2Grind. Appears they're all 95-115 only.

honestly at 85-95 range your best bets are in HOT or ROF if you are trying to plvl with just a tank. otherwise with a decent group and just 1 to plvl you are probably looking for places in ROS/EOK and they probably wont be instances.

Unfortunately, I don't know of one. Was hoping to find something here and step out of the normal zone grinding.

I'm currently enabling House of Thule: The Library (Moment of Clarity) instance support which seems to support level 90-95 quite nicely. It does require the use of Campfire to avoid a pair of named NPCs which may cause problems while navigating through the zone. I'm hoping the publish it in the next few days.

There have been some requests to support TLP and in doing so, I've identified 2 or 3 instances for flipping. I have to re-write a portion of the state machine that Grind uses, and this will take a bit of time before I commit to doing it and or publish. But I assure you it's on my radar as are flipping some of the higher level raid zones for the Luck augs =)

i need to set war to use kissassist and cleric to use kissassist.
currently im using war, clr, brd, zerk, zerk, bst.
the 2 zerks and bst are using plugin cleric bard and war use kissassist. the bard fires up np. but cleric and war wont, and i dont remember what i did to get it to work before.
Currently using mq2 for this group.

rest of my group uses next and run np.

just need help getting the ini to work with war and clerc on kissassist

Are you using MQNext? If not, please definitely get this installed instead of going back to VV Live. Once you do; there's a really cool User Interface for Grind, that makes life so much easier.

i run next most of the time, but i havent coverted totally over to it. I need to but takes time to get everything and all my guys converted

Yes you can but honestly, you're delaying the cut over for the wrong reason... Jump in Discord and ask for help fixing the issues you are having with Next, I promise you, it will be so beneficial to you.

When I turn on my vpn, mq2grind stops communicating with my group. Everything works fin on main tank.

I realize this is breaking dannet in some way, I just haven't figured out what to do about it and how to fix it yet.

Your VPN is set to block traffic for your protection. Enable split tunneling or if you are all on the same computer, bind dannet to the local loop back interface.

heh yea thats what i did, it seems to be working ok, get some odd scripting errors when it firs starts each instance but it loads the ini's now and does the instance kills like it should

kk when i run it again tomorrow before sending to him ill either write them down or screenshot them, did it on both cleric and war. but ran fine afterward so wasnt too worried about it

Grind should not be giving any issues. There's a likelihood that it's triggering something else to error, either way I'll give you a hand to remedy best I can.

Quick question.

I am powerleveling a new character and running Restless Assault. I am not bothering with getting them gear at the moment so obviously they can die very easily. I would love to be able to have the tank move to a new point in the zone and engage and then the group follows say 2 seconds later to avoid the noob character going first or grabbing aggro and dieing when the group moves. I have played with the nav distance and groupgap settings and it isnt doing what I want, it is just "sometimes" stopping at a firther distance away and other times still going first or at the same time to same point. Is there another way to change this?

Also if and when the pl toon dies, the plugin pauses, but after he is rezzed its not starting back up again despite the setting for delay after rez being at 30 seconds.

All great points.

1) A power levelee setting, I have on my to-do list. Best thing I can suggest to you at the moment, is to unload any combat helper from that toon. Perm invis him/her at the staging location - you can add something to the RESUME command for a toon which can perm invis that power levelee toon like /dex toon /multiline ; /target PLee; /timed 10 /cast invis thingie.
2) The delay 30 seconds is for the tank; not the group members

I hope that this helps! By the way, I do the very same when I PL a toon I drag it along until it's 115 before I bother gearing/spell booking it.

Might try something like this I just added it to the MQ2React Library

I'm using CWTN MQ2War and running these two reacts on my war to pause and restart grind working well.

It flips the war to tank mode in case there are roamers and pauses grind.
Replace ClericToonName and EnchanterToonName with your toon's names

Edits:
Found that my War wasn't standing up to start pulling again
My Cleric and Enchanter were not siting to med so flip[ them to assist mode while grind is paused they will then sit if tank not engaged and in tank mode.
Commands work with MQ2Dannet and CWTN MQ2Cleric and CWTN MQ2Enchanter.

dunno why its trying to use mq2warrior since i have it set to use kissassist on war, and it DOES load kissassist

same on cleric, it gives cleric commands for mq2cleric but it DOES load the kissassit and uses it

i have now ran grind in GD 6x and it ran good all 6 times but is giving those errors each time
