Plugin - MQ2Eskay (1 Viewer) 3.1.52471.11

Is anyone having an issue with PullArc and PullRadius?

PullArc no matter what arc-angle I change it to. It still shows and pulls 360
Same with PullRadius. Even when changing the distance to zero it appears to be 200+

I have tried reloading the plugin, (/shd reload) I have tried unloading and restarting the plugin but these didn't seem to help.
I have even gone as far as deleting the mq2eskay_char.ini, and re-running the plugin to see if maybe it was something I screwed up.

Suggestions?
nope, just tested and works as expected

/shd pullarc 60, change pull arc to 60 degrees

/shd radius displays the pull radius
/shd radius # changes it to the new number

nothing has changed here in quite some time, so wouldn't expect it to not be working and works both via the command line and in the ui as expected

STill getting the hang of everything with MQ2Eskay. Is it possible to changes things like you would with an Ini? If so how would I go about doing that? for some reason in Sic Mode my SK keeps wanting to cast Dark Lords Unity, everytime i try to pull a mob with parlay for power and i have all the buffs from it and nothing is blocked. it doesnt happen if i use instant cast spells but curious why he keeps casting it

There is no ini that you should edit.

your other issue sounds like this:

/shd CheckForStuckGems true/false/on/off/0/1 - Sets if you want to try and "unstick" your spell gems - this will happen in every mode other than manual, and we use the Dark Lord's Unity AA.

This was needed due to gems sticking, the plugin would use this to "unstick" greyed out gems. Use the above command to turn it off.

Having the occasional issue with the SK not picking up mobs that are hitting other group members inside of camp. Causes puller death about every 30 minutes or so, and rarely, the shaman (main healer). Camp is started in the same location on all characters. Tank camp is slightly larger than other characters.

Also, is there a way to force the SK to use terror when mob comes into camp? Method of aggroing seems to be "run in and tag with melee" and it's not always reliable.

we don't target around mobs, and you're not locked to a target, so if you want to change targets you can.

we are going to move to the mob to get in range to fight it when it arrives. we don't start wailing on a mob until it is where we want to fight it at. which is "back in camp"

make sure to mark your puller, puller in your group window - this will make us utilize the campoverlapbuffer on everyone except that pulling toon.

imo you should keep your tank campradius smaller than the rest of your team.

if you're struggling finding what settings work for you, i'd suggest using the sk as the puller
 
More spells make plugin crash on lazarus, seems that shroud of death and shroud of undeath can crash the game too. Tryed to delete them, but you can't, and seems that blocking them don't work either

then you have to byos. the faq mentions known things on laz that you need to do. outside of that they're "as-is" unfortunately.

- Added ability to adjust at what personal health you lifetap at.
-- This is defaulted and *intended* to be 100.
-- but there are circumstances like: not planning on tanking, lower level, mana issues, wanting to do dots (w/ byos/byoscustom)
-- where adjusting it to less than 100 would provide more benefit and flexibility in casting other abilities

Is there any way we can get a pull watch option for 'crowd control only' added? Seems a bit strange, but in my group the bard (running KA) is the only toon to run low on mana. My cleric just gains mana as fights go on and is never below 95%, unless he dies.

Therein lies the issue. Cleric dies, everything stops until he meds back up. It takes seconds to get him to ~30%. But SK waits until he hits the threshold to resume.

We don't plan on changing the groupwatch at this time , but thank you for the suggestion, I'll take a look next time I'm looking at that.

Would suggest adjusting your bard to not be oom or adjust your resume value to 30, or whatever you want to resume at.

Thanks Sic, I had an internal clock running on how long it would take you to reply. It was still running, you are just too quick. I get it, it is a bit of an edge case, but at the same time didn't seem like too much of a stretch given the existing options. Especially since sometimes I run without a healer, and in those cases really want the CC running :)

I am trying to use Puller-Assist mode, eskay pulls great, but he doesn't attack, he just stands still, so does his pet. When mob dies, he goes and pulls again. What should I check?

Puller assist is an assist mode.

You probably want puller tank mode.

Otherwise you need someone else as the tank assigned as main assit

Make sure he's MA and MT

My main assist role was set to a player, non-MQ machine, in group but outside of the MQ/dannet bubble.
My main tank role was a merc, belonging to the main assist, aka non on dannet.
Was hoping to use the SK as a puller/2H dps, hence the Puller Assist mode.

My SK is an under geared, not a viable tank option yet, but eskay DPS is better than the rogue mercs, so Puller/Assist is a good fit if I can get it sorted out.

What distance setting regulates how close the MA needs to be to the eskay in order to attack?

Needs to be in melee combat range ~15 ish.

You need a real PC as the ma in a role that is going to select targets for assist characters to attack
 
This issue just started today, but when in Hunter Tank mode, my SK isn't turning on auto-attack. It was working just fine before the latest plugin update. He will nav to the target and initiate Parlay for Power and then just sit there.

sounds like you need to adjust your campradius - if the mob isn't coming into your campradius you're not going to start attacking it

nothing changed here, and all the rest of everyone's toons are doing what they're supposed to

edit: just verified with 6 tanks in huntertank mode

Camp radius is 60. All other toons have same radius and attack.

well, if the mob is larger than that campradius it isn't going to attack it - like dracholiches or giants etc.

but no, nothing changed, i just verified with 6 huntertank toons it is working as expected, and you're the only one to mention something, which would point towards something else.
I would make sure you didn't do something else weird like hide your player window, which mq likely needs to see

Changed radius to 80 and left the rest of the group at 60 and seems to be working now. Odd never had this be an issue before.

I am running cwtn zerker, sk, mage, necro, and shaman. I set the SK to MA, MT. When I pull a mob, the SK won't engage and the other toons are set to assist, but will not assist. Mesh issue? I went through the videos about mesh and could not fix the issue?

please help me understand how to better help you.

A: if you are missing meshes you need to install them, the cwtn plugins would tell you if you don't have meshes
- the "new user" videos explain how to use mq2nav and meshes

c: this link i'm sharing you again shows you how to access information for the plugins, including all the things we've already talked about previous times, faq, commands, how to ask for help - the mq2war pulling vid the "how i move my toons" vid - all which go over pulling.

you haven't said "so i followed the FAQ thing that says to debug pulling and this is the result i'm getting" you've instead posted and pm'd several times unrelated things. you absolutely have to *try* the things that are suggestions to your problems. you absolutely have to communicate about what you have/have not done. I can't guess for you fear :( help me help you friendo. You and i spoke in pm about the plugins not using eqbc or dannet, and then you posted in each of them asking about the plugins when we had already had that conversation. please let me know how to best help you

To elaborate on the Master that was posted already, settings do matter. After you set your Pull settings, perform a "/shd debugpull on once", and it will cycle through and give you a reason for why it may not pull those mobs. You will know if it is a mesh issue in the error messages.

Pay particular attention to Z radius settings. I had a horrible time several months ago because of Z settings set too high. I was in City of Mists, set a smaller circle, but Z settings were super high, and the only way to get to a mob I was targeting below me in my circle was to travel through the entire zone to go into water and back to the one I could pull.

Thus, I did everything in the "New User Guide" video, launched the mesh updater twice, uninstalled reguides launcher, reinstalled, watched the "Getting Started."

I have been running EQBC for about one year and this issue just started, I never had an issue with EQBC before. I tripled check my Antivirus and there is exceptions for everything needed as well. I have been using sk mage shm and zerker cwtn for a year with no issues until lately (going on 2 years - just renewed cwtn sk).

Shadow, I have tried the /shd debugpull on. The Z radius i set to 200. The pulling works just fine, its when he comes back to camp, it goes dead, no mob engage, he just sits there. The other toons just sit there as well even though they are set to "Assist",
 
sorta sounds like a camp radius issue to me, it would be super duper helpful if you could post a screensnip of the settings window for your sk and one of your assist toons

you sound very convinced that this is eqbc/dannet related.

it is not.

so if you did all of the above and previously suggested stuff, what was the output by doing a /shd debugpull on once? because i'm betting you did not do that part.
