With disruption and alliance off I am not getting a change in the spell line up.

Hey all, on TLP, SK's don't get an aa for fd until OOW which means the only option is to use the spell. Is there anyway, short of going full BYOS, to keep the fd spell mem'd (maybe swapping it out and back in for self buffs)?

Every time my sk engage a mob, it will step ahead, is that possible to stick it to camp location and kill mob?
howdy dpanaben,

Your sk is going to engage the mob when it crosses into their "camp" threshold. you can adjust your campradius to the size that you want to engage the mob at when it enters.

also if you have someone else pulling, ensure you are tagging them as "puller" in your group window, otherwise you will use your campradius and your campoverlapbufer value to determine if you need to engage the mob.
 
Is it possible to fix the issue when switching between "Sic Tank" and "Tank" modes that it will reset the camp (blue) circle? Currently, the work-around is to first switch to manual mode first.

howdy eqsubi,

it isn't "an issue" as in something that is broken, it does that on purpose. if you're in a mode with a camp, and swap to another mode with a camp, it isn't going to change it. this allows you to do things like the above where you are in a tank mode, but need/want to swap to sictank mode to maybe manually pull or do something, but then not have to readjust the camp you already had set and are happy with when you set it.

you can just make your hotkey to also reset your camp if you want to reset your camp when you change the modes.
this is discussed in various places including my > hotkey resource < and hotkey/movement guide

Just wondering what the Pull Item order is?

I am using my SK in MQ2Grind atm, and he's only trying to pull with bow/arrow and stops when out of arrows.
No summon item on SK for arrows atm
that sounds like an mq2grind configuration issue.
 
is there a way for mq2eskay to check for bards endurance for pulling like it does for rogues ?
currently bard goes low on endurance and sk just ignores it and keeps bulling then bard dies because doesnt have endurance to use agro avoidance abilities. have turned down bard dps a bit but still killin bard more than i would like
have tried looking at other comments but did nto see any mention of watching bard endurance

no there isn't, the groupwatch currently just checks for mana for classes that have/use mana, including bard.

Vainglorious Shout and Boastful Bellow both got adjusted to consume a lot of endurance, you might want to consider using those once a fight, or use a condition to only use it if/when you're above a certain endurance threshold

A. You probably have auto remove illusion turned on, but don't actually have the illusion from this spell added to your blocked buffs. This will make you want to recast the spell. If you don't want to re-cast the spell to get the illusion, you will want to add it to your blocked buffs. This is typically Icebone Skeletal Form

EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Buffs

Hi !

Whenever I'm killing mobs with big hit boxes (long melee range) the camp radius is causing issues. The mobs are hitting my tank and the tank wont fight back. Is there a smart way to fix this other than increasing the camp radius?

nope, campradius is the correct fix, if they are outside the campradius, you're not going to engage them.

however, i do recommend just using huntertank for those giant mobs, so you go TO them and engage them there, instead of relying them coming close to you since they are stupid big, especially draoliches

Q. Sometimes a mob keeps hitting me but i don't engage? Ex. Dracoliches
A. This means you need to make your campradius bigger, as the mob is likely a "large" model mob and is hitting you from outside your campradius.

The only time we would go outside of the campradius to engage something is if one of your team members (not puller assigned) is outside of your campradius and getting whack'd, but inside your /shd CampOverlapBuffer - is the distance out of Camp to help group members (assigned puller excluded).

did you check the entries in the FAQ? there are several reasons that might be. you should start there

you might be:

casting manually triggering it if you have checkforstuckgems turned on
having an issue with illusion being removed but not blocking the skeleton illusion
might be overwriting your regen with enchanter regen

obligatory "you should consider using MacroQuest 'Next'" (if on live, you appear to download live and test?)
 
Is there a way to make it so this will use lifetaps against named mobs but not use lifetaps on normal mobs (to save mana)? I know I can turn lifetaps off, but having them still on for named would be beneficial to me.
Some named that snare end up killing me before I get back to the group, feels like if I hit 50% HP while pulling i should try to harmshield and click it off when I get to the group, or FD if not at the group yet or something?

Snare and pulling do not go well with each other lol, where mobs do this may be better at looking at going in a Hunter/Chase mode combo. You can adjust your FD % in the UI, however once again probably need to set up a MQ2React or Events condition to turn on/off auto stand on FD.

I am sure Sic will be posting up real solutions here shortly just trying to help out when/where I can lol

no, you can toggle off "uselifetaps" if you wanted to.

if mobs are snaring/rooting/stunning you and you're dying, you should consider taking the fight to them, otherwise you're walking back and getting your ass kicked.

if you're loading it for the very first time (as demonstrated/explained in the video) you will need to follow the red instructions that pop up asking you to reload your UI /reloadui or /loadskin default etc
 
to solve your toon pulling mobs across zone set your pull heigth raidius high if you dont mobs that are on hills that are in your path will be ignored and you will have a nice little train otw when your tank gets back

This just started today. My SK will pull until time to med, then sits to med and never goes back to pulling. The only thing that fixes is to unload and reload the plugin, which only lasts until he's out of mana again.

All other toons in the group are at full mana and health. I've got the same settings I've been using since I started using the plugin over a year ago, that's why it's so weird.

not sure on your question. is eq not updating your mana correctly? as in, does it show you or someone is full and they are not?

I have noticed that my SK (low level 30ish) seems to just want to cast his lifetap till he has no mana then will start to hit things. I am on Next. I use a bow to pull but mostly just run up and orge things.

you can turn off lifetap usage if you like.

Its not that I don't want to use the lifetap. In kissassist I can set it to fire when my health gets below a certain percentage and get the benifit from the tap. Right now SK is at 100% health and he's just tapping away so only getting half the benifit from the tap. I guess my question is their a way to set it to go off say at 70% health to get the most from the spell?

Also their are better spells to cast to pull then the lifetap. Dots come to mind.

I understand.

that is not customizable. i would have mentioned it if it was.

if you want to use a different spell set you can byos and memorize something else. you can even memorize a lower level lifetap if you don't have the mana regen to sustain

under lvl 60 it is the last thing checked in the routine compared to higher lvl when it is checked much earlier
