some of the now available stuff is newer than chats video. im not sure if off mesh connections or mark areas are in the video, but is is pretty straight forward once you try it
 
OK. First of all. I know most plug-ins are not totally raid friendly. Some are. On my secondary group I have an SK (cwtn plug in ftw) and I don't want him to taunt. But his group is running a bard using xgen. And xgen will not assist unless the SK is assigned role of main tank. And this is causing him to spam taunt. What ini and where would I find the setting to turn that off?

MQ2Eskay is going to do tank stuff if you are in a tank more or assinged a group main tank.

A. You will use your tanking type stuff (including taunt) if you are in a tank mode (like 4, 5, 7, or 8), or you are assigned as Main Tank in your group window assignment. If you don't want to do tanking stuff (like taunt) put yourself in a non-tank mode (like 0 manual, 1 assist, etc) and don't be assigned as main tank in your group window. This will allow you to on-the-fly swap to doing tank stuff and non-tank stuff (like if you are off-tanking and need to swap with another tank). You can just quickly adjust your mode, or group assignment. Flow Chart > HERE <
 
If SK is assigned MA he will not generate aggro / taunt in a NonTank Mode (0,2,3,5) with CWTN plugins. If XGen needs MT to assist then suggest it’s a macro problem not a plugin problem. Should be relatively a relatively straightforward fix for XGen to incorporate. Otherwise find something else to make the bard go, like Kiss, MuleAid, RGMerc etc
 
sounds like you are not set at MT in your group window and not in a tank mode and/or sounds like you're using puller assist.

you should use puller-tank (mode 5), not puller assist (mode 6)

and also set yourself as group main tank

Hi Sic, I think I found the problem with the Pullertank / SicTank mode ... when my SK is back at the camp and the mob crosses the border to the camp, my SK attacks and runs to the mob. The following happens: Mob and SK run towards each other and if the latency period is too long, my SK stands in the back of the mob... Now he turns around to Tank the mob and the adds slap him in the back.

I think there is no chance to help with that isnt it?

nope, sounds like you should ensure you don't have your frames limited causing you automation lag

but for game lag or slow server response, no
 
I am playing on Riz server. i am lvl 63 atm. when i turn on taps to help with healing, all he does is chain tap till oom. is there a way i can slow down the taps so hes not running oom? yes i am using manna proc

no, the option to turn off taps is there so you can turn them off, otherwise while in combat he's going to tap.

for lower lvl sks (sub 60), the "do the tap thing" is in a lower spot in the routine than it is in live, to give other stuff a chance to happen, post 60 you have access to faster casting and aas and such that should make it work as expected
 
I've messed with it on live with a 90 SK and felt the same, it just doing it to much. I love to have a Set tap health lvl say Sub 75% tap to 100% then stop. kinda like how the bst is set up with healing.

well you can turn it off if you want to turn it off

you're an sk, we're doing to lifetap while you're fighting if you have uselifetap on
 
i understand we are SK"s =) what I was attempting to see is if we can turn taps into more like the bst heals.
 
Hi, I don't know if this has been brought up before but it would be cool to toggle the "Weapon Stances" AA on when not MA/MT to trade some AC for DPS. WDYT?

it is on a possible long term agenda - but so many people have different cases for when/where they want it, it is unlikely we're going to add it

Q. Why no Bandolier swapping?
A. This is on our to-do list as something we may add for the tank classes.


you should utilize something like mq2react or my tankbandoswap macro
 
Is there a command to go and pull what I'm targeting back to camp?
So, like being in puller mode, have my SK run up to a mob, cast protest for power, and pull it back to camp.
But, unlike puller mode, where I just pull whatever is closest, I want to pull what I'm targeting.
 
there is not. 100% sounds like something you should do in manual or SicTank mode.

There is a return to camp which is great for SicTank Mode. /shd gotocamp
 
Hi! Last night I was playing my Main, a Monk, and crawling through Kael. While FD-splitting (a couple of times because I learn slow apparently) I saw a flash of red sparks agro all the mobs and wipe my group. I am pretty sure it is the SK casting something while in "Tank" mode (camp set). I finally started pausing everyone during these tense pull-moments, but I thought I'd stop in here and ask if this is expected. I have my camp radius set lower at 50 and I know I was out of range of that (but not the spell cast I guess). He only did it when I was in line of site with the camp of course too.

Secondary question. I noticed a few times that there were un-used defensive abilities when he died, such as the Armor of Experience AA. Should these be going off when under a certain amount of health? This is my oh s**t AA ;). I made a hotkey that I spam for him (`/bct ______ //alt activate 2000`)

I'm not sure what ability you are saying was used since you didn't specify, but I explain it in the ui video and the eskay video for items like aoe threat we only cast it if the mobs on xtarget are greater than or equal to the mobs in range of the aoes that we are planning on using. if you are pulling on another character, make sure you are set to puller otherwise mq2eskay is going to utilize the campoverlap buffer to watch group members getting aggro. this is likely your issue.

we do not use the long cooldown special aas like armor of experience, intensity of the resolve, infusion, etc - most folks would want things like that and 7th to be used when they need it since they are such long cool downs.
 
having issues with SK face pulling instead of using Jolt.
usually means you have a bad area of your mesh, or some other line of sight issue that is preventing you from using jolt.

im sure this is a long drawn out answer but how can i do a better mesh? i just updated all the mesh's
 
Sk pulls fine , then just stands while getting beat on . Sometimes I reboot and it works fine . This in /pullertank mode .

sounds like you need to adjust your camp size.

if the mob is hitting you from outside your camp, then its going to keep hitting you because it is outside your camp. adjust your campradius.

From the MQ2Eskay commands tab
/shd CampRadius ## - Sets the campradius to the value provided. If no value is provided it outputs the current value.
 
Problem is damn dracoliches with weird hit box , if make it bigger , then half the time he pulls the dracos where the others are too far away to assist .

if the mob is hitting you from outside your camp, then its going to keep hitting you because it is outside your camp. adjust your campradius.

i suggest using huntertank mode with everyone on chase for dracholiches - other wise your tank needs something like 80 campradius and the rest of your team like 100
 
Hi, want to report this constant reloading and casting. It is removing Scortched Skeletal form and then casting Woreg's Covenent. I turned off autoRemoveIllusion and it stopped. Is this a bug or is there a way to remove this from the remove illusion feature?

Yes.

Did you check the faq? It specifically mentions this.

If you have auto remove illusion turned on, you need to block that skeletal form, otherwise you're going to recast it after you remove it because you're now missing it.
