Plugin - MQ2Eskay (1 Viewer) 3.1.52471.11

Sorry plugin. Fixed where i found it. I started off with plugin then went to macro because not a programmer reasons.

As for pulling across the zone it happens quite often. Try setting up a camp in a zone like stratos for instance. If your circle happens to touch a mob on the other end of the zone spiral you will run out like a fool past dozens of mobs to make a huge train. Happens pretty much anywhere there is a mob in the circle from my experience. Sometimes if there isn't pathing to the mob it won't but that is not always the case. Happens in almost every zone with rooms and hallways as well.

As for shrinking I want the PET shrunk, not me. I like to see. I don't like getting stuck on stairs and everything else that comes with being shrunk. If I am shrunk and my pet isn't than the problem of it in my face is much worse. We don't all run a bst or a shm either. I don't right now. Why can't the plugin just shrink it for you? It hastes your pet.

Waiting for your mana to be unrecoverable before you start using a thing to recover mana isn't an effective use of said thing. Sorry, but there should be a percentage toggle or it should start sooner. Your mana will last longer if you do something about it at the point where it fills up instead of just adding a little when you are half empty. It is about uptime, right? Also for mana useage why isn't the bite spell that returns group mana not in the rotation? I would never go oom with it being used. In case you are wondering max lvl, max aa, t3 group plus 4 pieces of encrusted and I still run oom without the bite spell while my cleric is full mana. My wiz needs the mana too. SK can share some love but isn't. BYOS and putting in a gem doesn't get it cast either. I didn't put that in my guide as I can't figure out how to make the plugin use the spell.

I have been running the plugin since long before it was a pay version and in all of this time I have never seen it use leechcourse. Don't get me wrong, I love the plugin. It is 95% of what I would love. That 5% it doesn't do is what this thread is about along with some tips to keep it from wiping your group.

yup. if it is in your radius, and has a path to it, its going to go and get it. that is what it is being told to do "get things inside this radius if you can get to them".

no one has ever asked. I can add this really not worth being pitchforks over.

like i said, this is in dps (assist), not tanking. i'm betting you don't use the plugin in dps (assist) mode often.

Not trying to sound pitchforky. I actually can't think of a more helpful person than yourself. What I am trying to say without all of the benefits of being in person and hearing tone and seeing body language is explain some things that I have run into and others might. I wish I could have this convo over some beer. I live on an island so you'll have to come to me if you want to try that. I can provide beer and a spare bedroom.

Do me a favor and go to near the end of Stratos before the split to smoke and make a camp ring where it overlaps mobs at the other end of the spiral AND does not have a path to said mob and you'll see what I am talking about. Or mess around in great divide in the caves. Or go to ToFs. Happens in more places than not. I make sure there is no path but that does not always work, thus the need for a Manual button. Happened to me just last night and had to mash the button. If you want to try and address this I can send the camp loc and radius size the next time it happens. Now that I mention this it might never happen again lol.

I am one of those dreaded peeps that often plays in first person. It helps with quest turn ins, banker use, door clicking, and pretty much everything except for picking mobs. I can't seem to ever hand things to people or interact with stuff in game when i am in third person as what my cursor is on is never what the game thinks my cursor is on. For camps I prefer third person as it lets you cheat and see what is behind you.

My SK is my tank. I have no other tank to assist. So I don't use in assist mode ever.

i understand what you're saying about zone layout.

what I'm telling you is that if the mob is inside the pull circle, and we are able to get to the mob (there is a nav path) then that is the green light that we want to pull that mob.

There's nothing to address - we don't intend on having a "break from camp distance" thing - if you set your circle to include an area/mobs we're going to assume you want to include that stuff... since you included it. That is where pull arc can come in handy, but since currently we don't have the ability to draw shapes on the map for pull regions (which would be wtf-amazing if we did/could) that's what we got. CWTN and i have talked about being able to set multiple boundaries with fancy shapes and such for pulling for specific situations like you're talking about, but its not something we have in the cards at this time. If you don't want to pull an area/mob don't have it in your spawn search (which includes the pull radius, ignore list, and on valid meshed path) - this is the best answer i have for you

(btw, do you *actuallly* live on an island because that sounds rad af)

The running across zone getting mobs (happens to me in Chardock) is more than likely due to the Z radius set it as low as you can to keep from picking up mobs above and below you especially in those more vertical as opposed to horizontal zones like Stratos.

yep, gotta get creative with pull arcs and zradius setting to exclude those mobs.

Thank you for the clarification. Drawing shapes would be awesome or even running your toon to boundary points and drawing it that way. Or even having the boundary drawn as you run your toon.

As for living on an island, we moved this year to the Caribbean. Nothing better to do during a global pandemic IMO than selling everything and moving to an island. Still a US citizen but living in a territory now. I'm serious about drinks if you come out this way. We have one beer drinker and one wine drinker and we both like the mixed drinks so something for everyone. It is why I wasn't on the forum much and didn't play EQ for half of the year.

Thank you a million for the pet shrink!

Couple questions

1) Will turning off all settings (that appear to be spell related) actually prevent any spells being cast?
2) If so, is there a recommended way to quickly disable all those settings?

Why? Raid target has this as a mechanic at a certain point in the raid. SK will be in assist mode and while I'll be driving it enough to stop casting, this will only be one of the toons I'm looking to drive. If it can't, I'll unload the plugin and use something else.

stop all spell casting? - you could byos and load a blank spell set - would still do AAs and Combat abilities
stop all abilities like spells, AA, combat abilities etc? /shd pause on

other than that - no

How exactly does the pulling mechanic work? ive been watching my SK pull in the dreadlands, he in puller mode, something comes into his radius and off he goes normally with no problems, but if the mob he is attempting to pull moves whilst he is casting his lifetap to pull, by time the spell is cast, the mob is outta range, so he moves forwards and tries again, he gets stuck in doing this and will ignore the pull radius ring and keeps attempting to get this one mob moving further and further away, i just pause it, run forward more than he would, cast the spell and return to camp and unpause the plugin, is there a way to change the spell he pulls with? ive turned off the lifetap option hoping he would choose another spell, he doesnt use that in combat but still pulls with it.

You can disable the pullability (option in the window and a text command) and have a bow/arrow equipped should suffice to overcome the issue. I had believed this was fixed from my testing on rizlona. Which lifetap are you using as your pullability?

Ok thank you. He is currently using Lifedraw as his lifetap pullability.

Hi team,
I'm having trouble with this... every time I login the window resets to its default position?
How can I make it so it will stay where I leave it in the UI?
Many thanks!

I've been having an issue with Eskay, it will be running fine then spell gems just gray out like its recovering but nothing happens. Wont pull or do anything.

That's a bug with EQ they recently did a patch that was supposed to fix it, but it didn't. Will need to checkforstuckgem or cast an AA then duck it off.

I have a situation where the plugin will repeatedly attempt casting Voice of Thule (note, this isn't about whether VoT should be used). It happens frequently when it determines it needs to cast it. In the attached screenshot you can see the AA is getting reset somehow. I've included /loc to demonstrate the toon isn't moving.

111 SK
Server: Live
Zone: Temple of Droga (EoK)
Mode: Manual

Any other detail I can provide, let me know.

Dang it. I thought I sanitized it all. :/
You certainly tried. But you missed the advanced loot window's Master Looter

If you have that issue again I need to know the error message that EQ was spitting out. You get the ability reset, but chances are there was something in the combat window that was being output as well. Such as a stacking issue.

Right you are (on the Advanced Loot window). Thanks.

Likely this is a whole group buffing issue, then. I just started the toon up by itself and it cast it first thing just fine. I'll keep an eye on it tonight.

So I'd just block "Horrendous Rune Effect" on the Sk, then the enchanter won't cast it. In the mean time I'll take a peak at the code when I get a chance to see if I can get this to avoid it happening with this, and other stuff like it.

Hey Thanks for this Plugin it is awesome, you guys did a great job on it.

I have been using it for a while now and have noticed that it keeps casting the AA snare on mobs that are immune to snare.

Not sure if there is anything you guys can do about it or if I have to just turn the AA snare off and stick with the spell snare.

edit: opps my bad I just reread the FAQ and saw there was not an option for immune mobs sorry.

Well I have had using my Visage of the Embattled Minotaur clicky setup for a usedowntime clicky, it was working fine before this patch when I had another illusion on it would not try to cast it, but now if I have my SK mana conversion spell (Call of Shadow rk. II) on with that illusion it just sits there and chain casts the Visage of the Embattled Minotaur clicky illusion.

Been doing some search on Pull level Min, and not really finding an answer. I am so sorry to keep pestering with questions.

It seems that the Puller tab in all the CWTN plugins has Min and Max pull level.

I have found the max seems to work, but the min does not?

In this case, I am setting 54 as min pull level, however, it still seems to pull MOBS that are lower than this min level. Is there some other step I need to take?

so im trying to farm a named in GD, its place holder is a restless dracoliche and ive encountered a problem.

when i pull the mobs to camp, they stop just out of range of the puller (a SK using mq2eskay) and he doesnt turn on melee or engage. this generally leads to the healer getting agro and getting smashed, followed soon after by the rest of the group.

i think its due to the size of the mobs target ring. can anyone suggest a work around so that the tank engages on pull please? cheers.

actually i think i may have resolved the issue. ive made my camp radius bigger. im just hoping this doesnt lead to new issues =/
