Been using this for a week, and I've noticed that my Enchanter sporadically casts slow on mobs. I have the proper check boxes checked in the settings box, and it's happened so much so that a mob will just go completely unslowed, that I've had to put in my slow clickie from PoTime in the Offensive Clickies to get my Enchanter more things to use to slow the mobs. She's just not using Helix to slow for half the mobs. What's going on?
howdy pshayes7 that sounds frustrating.
please make sure you familiarize yourself with our FAQ which includes a part about "how to ask for help".
There are only a few things we would prioritize over tash and slow - mezzing and charming are pretty high on that list
I'm going to assume you mean the AA "Slowing Helix" and not one of the earlier spells from our "slow" line called "___ helix"
I'm going to assume you have "UseSlow" and "UseSlowAE" enabled - if not those have to be on to do those respective things.
I'm going to assume you have your group MA assigned (we only slow your group MA's target, we don't willy nilly target stuff)
We slow mobs that are at/below your assistat value (or if you are meleeing them already), they'd need to not have a better slow on them already
We slow mobs that are inside your campradius and on xtarget (unless we're already targeting it and melee is on)
if we're using Enveloping Helix (UseSlowAE) we do that first since the 3m cooldown and covers more mobs
After checking for Enveloping Helix, we check for Slowing Helix -> if we don't have Slowing Helix AA, we check if we have Serpent of Vindication and use that -> if we don't have either of those (or slow stick isn't ready), we check if we have a slow spell memorized, that they dont have the buff on them, and if they don't already have a "slower" slow buff
