Plugin - MQ2Enchanter 3.1.52471.11

This is my last addition to my group. Currently have all of the group fairly current with armor. This particular character basically is still in her heroic armor and she is level 110. What is occuring when I pull several with tank or several come, she is the first to die. Subsequently the rest of the group follows. Priority wise, I need your confirmation- bump her up to snowbound armor, secondly have her engage at 99. I believe I have her at the default setting of 98. I believe per one of Sic videos , he runs his team all at 99 , I guess follow his lead especially on CC character .
no. I run all my toons at 100 assist fulltime.

what is likely happening is she is moving to mez (mentioned in the faq).

you sound like you know your issue. wearing 85 armor in 110+ content.

I'd recommend using huntertank/manual with everyone else in chasemode, so you're already at the mobs and your tank is already getting a/e aggro on things rather than pulling back to a location.

but really, being basically naked is going to give you a bad time, especially to a CC

i'd imagine, being so under-geared, a single hit means they'll probably get low hp aggro and then get eaten
 
Howling Stones has been kicking my backside lately with trains of more than 3 mobs. Is there a setting that will lock the mobs down that I am missing when they come to camp. Currently running enchanter assist at 99. Would appreciate input and guidance.

mezzing doesn't have anything to do with assist value - assist value is for dmg/dots

I would ensure you have mez turned on, and the mobs aren't on your mez immune list

because yeah, it does lock stuff down as soon as it can - modes other than manual it will even move to try and get LOS on them

I fully endorse this message. The only thing this plugin doesn't handle correctly is abusing players for breaking mez.

Truer words have never been spoken! May I propose a toggle button "punish idiots". The plugin will assess that the MT/MA has not broken the mez and will pause mezzing that mob. It could then assess the offenders health and once that reaches zero it will begin mezzing again? J/K of course....or am I.
 
I really and truly can't get the Enchanter with the Plugin out of my group. I usually prefer crowd control by slaughter. But this damned plugin is forcing me to make a 2nd Enchanter. I can't believe I made the first or needed the second.

When running my enchanter, the group is set to assist, SK is set to sic tank, however my enchanter is running his happy ass outside of the red circle to go mez an add or charm one. Why is he running out of camp? He didn't use to, did I fuck some setting up? also, use melee is turned off as well.

I did find it, however the mob hadn't hit the camp radius, he ran out of the camp radius to tag the mob before he got there. That's what I thought was odd.

If you're in an area with rooms and walls where the enemy can be running down a hall adjacent to the camp and even if only for a moment steps inside the red circle because it reaches outside of the room, then the enchanter would react. Otherwise I see nothing in the code that would have the enchanter leave the camp area.
 
Night's endless terror potential issue: I have the illusion portion blocked on everyone/pets. Chanter will cast it on everyone when it fades...however, the very last toon/pet in the list he will chain cast it on even though the buff is still there. I tried blocking both the illusion and the spell itself on that toon, and it still kept casting it on him. The toon being targetted happened to be a beastlord. Too late in the night for me to do further testing now, but as I understand things, he shouldn't even attempt to cast when the spell is blocked on the target...and certainly shouldn't be chain casting it if only the illusion portion is blocked.

edit: On a whim, I unblocked and re-blocked the illusion portion. This caused it to start working properly again. Putting this down as some sort of UI glitch. Plugin is doing excellent.

Odd - tho eq is pretty odd atm
 
Hi team,

For some reason, if I select to use combat innate aura, the enchanter will cast both auras, immediately turn off both auras, and cast them again. Screenshot attached. I have not seen this behavior with any other auras besides combat innate, and it does not appear to matter what other aura I choose.

do you have anything unusual happening with your aura window? (is it hidden? out of date ui? using eq's new ui?)
would check for any red error messages

edit: pause the plugin, cast that aura "Mana Reiteration Aura" and tell me what the aura says it is called in your aura window. This might be one of the auras that is different than what it says it is supposed to be. we should already account for it - but maybe rank II is different than the other ranks as well

Ah yep that's it. In aura window it's called Mana Recursion Aura.
 
Not sure what the secret is.....I have autoremoveillusion set to true on my guys......standing in my guild hall...here's the cycle

Chanter casts nights terror on pallie, pallie removes illusion, shaman shrinks pallie,
go to start..

How do i stop this?

if you look at the FAQ for each of the plugins it explains how to block spells.

I'll work on adding the enchanter illusions to the illusions we ignore if you don't have them blocked - but in this instance you should block the illusion spell and then the enchanter won't cast it upon you because we know you dont want it.

this is in the mq2enchanter faq

Q. Chain Casting NDT?
A. Double-Check that you don't need to add the illusion to your blocked buffs / pet blocked buffs. Sic explains this in the MQ2Enchanter Pre-Release video > HERE <
 
Doesnt it cast an illusion/buff ..so you can remove the illusoin and still use the buff. I could be wrong.. I havent noticed this before....Though my other enchanter casts the higher level version.

Didnt realize you could block part of the spell..i'll look into that.
 
Mana Repercussion Aura (LVL 95) is having a similar issue to the previous version. Here is what it is doing, and what the actual aura is in the window when it is manually cast:
Edit: Disregard. After swapping twincast aura and combat innate aura between aura1 and aura2 it seems to have fixed the problem.

I am unable to get the enchanter to buff mercs or sit between combat to regen. I'm pretty new to this but after all the FAQ reading and ini settings I'm not finding these settings or the changes I've made do not have an impact.
 
Mode 0 - Manual --- Manual
Mode 1 - Assist --- assist your MA and returns to camp
Mode 2 - ChaseAssist --- chasses and assists your MA
Mode 3 - Vorpal Mode (Assist but no camp or chase -- THIS IS NOT A TANKING MODE)
Mode 4 - Tank --- tank stuff
Mode 5 - PullerTank --- pull and then tank
Mode 6 - Puller Assist pull and then assist MA
Mode 7 - SicTank Mode --- sets a camp, and does tank stuff, but doesn't return/sit down
Mode 8 - Hunter Tank mode --- runs around and kills stuff

thinking your leaving in mode 0

and these are accessed via /enc show (to display gui). really no ini with these.

we dont buff mercs

check the sticky for a chart that shows you when you sit between combat
 
Possible bug

82 Chanter with all current spells. During combat in assist mode at camp, chanter will cast Fragmented Consciousness Rk II (Disempower) continuously even when it lands instead of switching to another spell such as Multichromatic Assault for nuking. I am not in BYOS mode. Loadout is generated by the plugin. Use nuke is checked.

we don't memorize the "cripple" line, so you did memorize it. our check does say "only cast if the mob doesn't have this spell", which i can look into, but appears to be correct in the code.


edit: yeah it looks like it gets blocked by slowing helix AA - which means other slows that have "cripple type" stuff probably doesn't stack. would be useful to know what red error message you're getting from eq about stacking you're getting

simple fix in the meantime, just don't manually memorize the cripple line
 
When set to UseNuke, Level 70 Enchanter scribes lvl 68 Psychosis instead of lvl 70 Ancient: Neurosis. Putting Ancient: Neurosis into a BYOS set up with UseNuke on and he won't cast it at all. Looking at what spell the plugin shows, Chroma Nuke: Psychosis.

can you show me where the plugin says it casts that spell?

it might be missing it from a group - but if the plugin doesn't say it casts it, it wont.

I'll take a look if it is missing and add it if it is (and should be there)
