We're still using them. They're just /autoskill now. This means the plugin doesn't have to hit the button.
 
Is it possible to have Feralgia higher in the cast priority list? I often see my bst go several fights without casting it at all, often times he and his pet don't even have the growl buff active causing a large loss in DPS. It felt like when I first started using the addon, he cast it more often, so I'm not sure if I inadvertently changed a setting that causes him to cast it less. Here is a screenshot of the settings I'm using.

no. the "goes fights without casting it at all" means the mob was already too low for us to think it is worth casting it - which is something i can look at massaging but a "can you redo the priority - no

We actually will cast on the mob as long is it is above a certain threshold OR if we don't have the autocast from it.

if you can please check the sticky and go to the "how to ask for help" and then give a bit more information

- which spell in feralgia (so i know what specific spell and roughly what level you are)
- what level you are, etc
- what mobs / where are you fighting?

Apologies, I found and read the referenced post and will try to provide more detailed information.

My group, and my beast lord is level 110 and in the Ring of Scale expansion.
I'm currently using the Akalit's Feralgia Rank 1 spell.
I'm fighting in the RoS version of Howling Stones, mostly general population (Skeletons, ghosts, golems), occasionally named mobs when they spawn.

When I first load up my crew and the plugin first loads, it seems like the beastlord casts Akalit's Feralgia enough to keep the buff active, but over time it seems to cast it less and less. I'm not sure if that is due to me trying to tweak the settings over my play period. I'm mostly adjusting the DotManaMin field to make the BST nuke more and avoid using dots because the mobs do die relatively quickly to really benefit from using dots.

I'm not sure how helpful this is, but here is a screenshot of the BST spell cast counts over 35 fights showing Akalit's Feralgia was only cast twice.

sounds like you're falling below your dotmanamin.

there isn't a "well i've been fighting a while and getting tired".

we don't check against manamin for refreshing the buff usage, but we do for casting the swarm usage.

this morning I checked to make sure all the autocasts were reporting correctly and this appears to be the case.
I also tested a bunch of stuff to ensure it was firing as expected (it appears to be).
my best guess is the dotmanamin thing and expectations around it are out-of-sync

That must be my issue then, I didn't realize that the swarm pet usage checked the dotmanamin variable. I will adjust that. Thank you!
 
MQ2BST does not appear to know LVL 93 DD "Rotsil's Bite". He retains the lvl 88 version "Sarsez's Bite". As always, thank you for all you do!
 
Did a quick search and didn't find anything about this. Whenever I have my bst set as puller tank and the plugin decides the group needs a break, it'll pause while I regain mana on all my chars, but will never restart pulling. Even with all my chars full mana for 5 or more minutes, it never restarts pulling. I have to unload the plugin and reload it to get it to start pulling again. Not sure if other class specific plugins act like this too. I know the sk plugin works great pulling although the plugin never decides on a necessary mana break because my important chars are always near full mana, so it might also have this problem if a similar situation occurs. Atm I'm trying to pull with bst and tank with its pet, and its having this issue. Just thought I'd post this in case its fixable. Thanks

well, you'll want to try using the debug pull options and / or share what your output is while it is waiting.

I'd recommend ensuring all of your pull settings are where you want them to be - it should tell you why you're waiting -- but the debugpull should help

Ok, I turned on the debugpull option and its giving me an output of why certain mobs aren't pulling each time my bst pulls. Nothing seems to be an issue there. But atm, there are mobs nearby that can be pulled and the same issue is happening once more. Not noticing anything with the debugpull preventing the pulling, but the plugin output is saying:

Shaman: Mana Current: 91.0 Ending Threshold: 100.
Beastlord: Mana Current: 90.0 Ending Threshold; 100.
Group still needs rest, please wait.

Eventually it updated the same thing just saying that bst is now at 99%, but group still needs rest.
I waited and group is all full mana, full endurance... but its still not pulling and no new updates as to why. I tried adjusting all the settings I could think of, including group watch... but nothing changed. I should've looked at what the mana was when the hold started, think it was either around 40% or 60% on bst, shaman never gets lower than a canni will bring it back to fm. I'll keep an eye out for the next time this reoccurs and note the mana % on bst. Tho, I just changed the ManaMedStart and ManaMedEnd to 0 on the pulling tab. Before I changed them, they were at 20 and 100. Maybe that will fix it. I dont need mana since I pull with aa slow, but enough to keep fero up wouldn't hurt haha.

Anyways, thanks for the help!

Setting those 2 settings to 0 seems to have prevented any med breaks and, therefore, I'm not having that problem anymore. Guessing if I need to have mana, I could set the End threshold at 99 and it would've restarted pulling from you saying its not the same as setting it to 100. For today tho, I want constant pulling, so I'll keep it at 0. Thanks for the quick responses and keep up the good work!

i suggest putting end at like 20/25, especially if you're 86+
 
At lower levels (15-30 so far) my BST is constantly trying to buff the group with stat buffs (good job!) but not checking that my shaman has already buffed the group with a higher stat buff (bad job) and is thus constantly OOM. I have done the "block this buff" on every character for each buff, only for him to gain 5 levels and have to do it over again.

Examples: Spirit of Bear trying to overwrite Spirt of Ox, Spirit Strength trying to overwrite Raging Strength. Shaman and BST are the exact same level.

We check for stacking. Unfortunately that is some eq/mq interaction.

You can byos one one of the toons if you don't want them to buff, otherwise blocking the buffs is the correct route

you should report that to eq, not mq2bst. we don't populate the vendor saying you're missing something

there are several spells/discs that show up like that.

if you look at the plugin when it loads it will tell you that it uses spiritual vigor (and the vigor line conflicts with several other lines of spells - like paladin lines, ranger lines, and cleric stuff.

We actually use both the 117 spiritual vigor AND the lvl 62 spiritual vigor

it is a lapse in the game.

they gave you a new dps ability, but didn't give you sha's reprisal AA until 100 which is what the FAQ item i shared says

Would you ever consider adding Slow? I understand the argument against. But if the Beastlord is the only potential slower in the group it does make a difference I use it on 120 mobs and see the difference. And perhaps a new slow is coming with 5 more levels of spells.

it already does.

sha's reprisal is a slow.

/bst SlowAll true/false/on/off/0/1 - Sets if you want to try and slow everything
/bst SlowNamed true/false/on/off/0/1 - Sets if you want to try and slow named


and if you're lower level - we use the slow spell that we memorize if you don't have maelstrom yet

which you probably would have read if you read the last couple of replies above :p

Evening all. MQ2Beast. Bandolier swap. What is the trigger to swap back to h2h? Turned this on today and procced Vengeance, swapped to 2hb, been using it since. Doesn't want to switch back on its own. H2H is 1hb/h2h weapon. No piercing. I don't see a 2HB trigger spell running, unless I am wrong?

You must have BandoSwap turned on.
Your progressive spell is treated the same as vindication for the purposes of swapping. So either you have the buff from vindication or DFury it will use 2h

You add/remove a bando set.
When you toggle on BandoSwap.

It should inform you:
That it found a set for bandoswap: "We have bandolier sets and can use BandoSwap!"
That it did not find a set for bandoswap: "We don't have bandolier sets and can't use BandoSwap!"

Without more information it's hard to know you situation.
I can see one of two bandlier sets in your screenshot.
I can see your current buffs.

I cannot see that you have it turned on, that it output that it found the sets, that you have a vindication spell, that you have two sets of items correctly setup, and that the plugin swapped to the 2hb in the first place.

- Buffs previously shown were up when still in 2HB mode. One of those keeping it there? I am uncertain if one of those falls in the progressive category.

We swap when under vindication or your dicho/dissi/composite/ecliptic progressive class spell, and swap back afterwards
 
Alright. Potato quality video below.
Shows the swap happen to 2HB when Vind is popped. But not swapping back after it finishes. I don't see anything else procced keeping it up.
Might be something with the h2h bando set? But this looks like it meets requirements.

That is really foolish.

We wouldn't swap in the first place if we hadn't already established the bando sets are what we want.

Obligatory "we swap while fighting" so if you're not fighting, we don't swap back anything.

Video does show fight continuing about a minute after Vind drops with no swap back though. Not sure what else I can drop to show it.

dunno. you might have new ui turned on (no clue if that impacts it). yo might also have the current EQ bug in the guild hall from clicking buffs off.

which you can visibly see from clicking off buffs but then pressing "alt" to see the buff names, and see buffs populated by name where they don't exist in the window.

You shouldn't need autoswap clicked, but you might try that and see if that is the difference.

I expect you trying to replicate it in the guild hall with the current EQ bug is the issue.

All testing is done in Lceanium.
Interesting buff bug. Holding alt may have revealed something.

On test - bst is currently spamming toggling on/off round kick while in combat. Unsure what other type of info would be helpful for this one in particular, so just holler and I'm happy to help. Thanks!
