Noticed this tonight, first time in a while only had the bst in a group to cast haste. When I clicked usehaste on, kept overwriting themselves with celerity/unrivaled rapidity. Target is same toon for each cast. Level 85 BST on Riz.

unfortunately, this is going to be one of those circumstances that is mentioned in the FAQ, where MQ says you're missing a buff and the buff you're missing reports that it stacks.

I'll see if there's anything we can do under the hood

looks like the root cause is because there are >TWO< spells in spelldata for this, same issue we had to work around for exceptional velocity. I'll see if i can come up with a fix

hrm, unfortunately, i can't get a toon at that at 85 with those spells to replicate that.

is this yourself you are buffing or another toon?

are you sure you're not getting any red eq error messages?

ok, got another toon, and it is doing the cycle on that other toon - i'll see if this is something we can address.

in the mean time just block celerity on whomever

howdy, make sure to check out the sticky that give some steps to determine how to correct it.

you likely have SoE or some other buff that MQ/EQ says stacks, but doesn't.

so you'll either want to turn off usesow on your bst, or determine the conflicting buff and handle that (mentioned in the FAQ)

what plugin?

you didn't say or post in a section that would indicate it.

it could be mq2bst or mq2afnuke.

if mq2bst yep. they need to be local toons on local pc, same with all buff and buff-type things as we check for current buffs and stacking and needs.

we check the group starting at position 0, which is always yourself, then go through the rest of the group. so you could try adjusting your paragon settings

but yep, and if you're in raidmode, it even checks outside your group

@Sic i recently acquired mq2mage, and come to realize that mq2bst does not have a petheal out of curiousity is there a reason for that? just curious i tried digging thru old posts couldnt find anything on why mq2bst doesnt watch their pet's HP if its tanking or just in general.

we use our petheal and petsalve at the maheal values only if our pet is our target's target - you'd have to have these memorized, so being MT/tank mode, or byos

I have noticed something with the mq2bst plugin that the others seem to handle properly, window location, every time I log the bst in the window defaults to the upper left corner of the screen and not where it was on logout.

if you want to reposition the window, place the window where you want it to be then close the window completly. then /bst show or reload the ui /reloadui and that should be positioned each time u log back on

Eq is saving and placing it. Just like with eq windows, make sure you are /camp ing and not exiting

So I just got this plugin and my beastlord will do all his casting things and send pet but doesnt go into melee ever. I just noticed in the MQ window on the BL it keeps spamming "DoCommand- couldnt parse '/killthis'
Any idea what might be wrong?

no, we don't use "/killthis" sounds like you're using kissassist or rgmercs or something else.

we engage mobs who meet your assist requirements (within camp radius, at or below assistat value on health, the target of your group MA, in melee range, etc)

you shouldn't do that.

OK i completely deleted MQ2 and did a clean install. I reinstalled all my CWTN plugins and again my Necro, Cleric, Enchanter, and Mage ones all work perfectly with no problems. The Beastlord started out working fine. He summoned the pet and then began buffing the rest of my group. I thought maybe it would work so I pulled a mob. Enchanter, Mage, and Necro all assist my SK and start doing their things. Now the Beastlord just stands in the corner. He doesnt melee, cast spells, or even send in his pet. Yes. Sounds like you're not in an assist mode and are in manual mode.

Melee toons need to be in an assist mode

Is there somewhere to set stacking order? My BST starts chain casting SOW when Spirit of Eagle is on my group. I would like to use both, but having to manually disable SOW then turn it back on when SoE fades, seems like I am doing something wrong?

SoE is a common spell known to cause stacking issues within mq/eq.

i suggest checking out the FAQ and then making a choice on what you want to block or turn off

Ok on your MQ Compile mine is on the top of the screen make sure the mode is to assist. Is what I did I made a hot key on my main char that says Group on. The hot key says /bct (name of char) //bst,clr,or what ever it is mode 1. If you want your chars to assist one char it would all be the same except instead of mode 1 it would be mode 4. also you need to have that char in the Main Tank and Assist in the group. To end the hot key it would be all the same except the last it would be 0 instead of one. I use this all the time and makes it very easy to control. Some times after and or during a kill they may or may not be out of attack range then just hit the ome to me button and all is good. Keeps a nice tight group

So, I have BST, wailing on a Heroic Mission final mob. He's pouring on the DPS...he dies, gets a combat rez by the shammie, then just switches to healing, instead of summoning pet and DPS'ing.....what setting am I missing? I have the switch to summon pet in combat on.

well if you die and get rezzed, you need to clear and re-gain your MA's target for assist modes - but it sounds like he might be in manual mode

Honestly I am not sure what that means....when i am xp'ing in a dungeon and a toon dies...i normally dont have to do anything extra..how do i perform that?

Your group main assist needs to clear their target and reaquire the mob as their target

Sounds like your UI is out of date for hobble spirits to be getting spammed

Started a new group from scratch to run a healer using mq2druid, and I've been reminded of how well this plugin works from 1-120. The dps is solid and consistent literally from level 1.

Spent some time in Grieg's End last weekend, and she was hammering red cons in there. Very well done gents.

Ive been using the BL plugin for a while now. I recently moved my BL into my main group, and it seems for some reason he isn't auto accepting a REZ if he dies. He does accept invites and trades etc with the people ive added to his list. Where is the accept rez setting configured? Im assuming its native MQ and not the actual plugin, since ive never seen that setting on any other the others, but figured I would ask here.

Good deal. That multiline has a little more than what im using specifically for the rez accept stuff. Ill have to add it to mine. I must have configured all of my other guys manually when i set the group up. Thanks for the assist guys!
