I'm level 118 currently. Anytime I use Savage Rancor Disc - the mq2bst plugin spams growl of the lioness even though rancor overwrites growl. It keeps trying to make growl land.
Growl doesn't hit swarm pets, just me and the warder.

The only time we memorize growl is when you have uaeswarmpet off. Is there a reason you're doing that?

Pretty sure I see the issue, but regardless, I'd recommend turning usewarmpets on

Q. Growl?
A. Feralgia line gives you a growl, so we default to using Feralgia for the swarm plus the buff :)
 
Ok, I've been using Growl + Bay at the moon spells. But regardless, the plugin is not recognizing that a better spell/disc is active and spams growl. I'll use whatever is best, but I admit that I didn't even know Feralgia gave a growl as well.

Yes. As I mentioned I see the issue. It'll be fixed in the future, it has never been noticed or reported because of the feralgia thing.

But yah, you should use feralgia.
 
I wasn't able to find it documented anywhere, what exactly does autodrop do? I assume it controls the dropping of items directly into inventory that end up on the cursor
 
Any idea why my BST is no longer slowing? Just hit lvl 95 and got all the spells/tomes. Mobs are lvl 99-100 and the BST is now (after getting spells/tomes and moving to a new zone) refusing to either cast the pet slow proc or even the BST slow. I have Hobble Spirits toggled off (since that and the pet proc slow don't seem to stack) and slowall toggled on.... Any help would be appreciated.
 
I'm afraid without more information it's hard to know what you expect to happen and what is actually happen. I better format for me to work with would be

I expect Sha's Reprisal to fire, but instead it's casting a slow spell called "XXX Spell of SLowing"

Where you would use specific names of spells.

I've gave the code a quick looking at. It would prefer to cast Sha's Reprisal over any slow spell provided you have the AA.
In reference to the pet slow proc, I'd need the name of the spell or spell group that the plugin has assigned it to so I will know what spell you are talking about that it isn't casting that you'd like it to cast to know how to respond.

It is (it is called Companion's Fortification these days fyi).

if your pet has is the target of the mob you are targetting, we use that and other pet defensive stuff

There is a gap > here <

once you get maelstrom at 90, we no longer memorize your "slow spell" which leaves you a gap from 90 to 100 when you get Sha's Reprisal as an AA

if you wanted to memorize the spell itself you would need to go in BYOS and memorize it

hobble of spirits is a snare. you should probably leave that on unless specifically, you don't want to snare.

We use the "PetSpirit" line, we don't currently have any usage of the PetBite line assuming you're meaning Deadlock Jaws.
 
Morning Sic! Do you know if the plugin will use the Anguish/OMM chestguard clicky if the BST has it? Trying to determine if it's worth farming for or not....

No it is not added. We typically don't add anything outside of rez sticks and epics, and if we used epics it would be in the faq, mq2bst we don't use epics
 
Is it possible to get my bst to chain pull ? i have it elected it the Kiss assist INI file but it does not seem to want to chain pull with either MQbst on or kissassist on.

no. we don't chain pull in the cwtn plugins.

please do not run cwtn plugins and conflicting kissassist at the same time. you can and will have problems.

if you want higher kill times have your tank in a huntertank style mode with the rest of your team in chase mode

Cheers Sic, I dont run both at the same time i meant i tried both and it didnt work. Ill do as you suggested thank you.
 
Sic,

Can you look into turning off the Stat buffs (str, stam, dex) or even a toggle? They are just eating buff slots at this point.

Add them to blocked buffs on those characters you don't want the buffs on.

EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Buffs

/blockspell add pet id
 
Anyone else experiencing an issue with comrade's unity spamming on their BST currently? I've tried reloading, relogging etc. and don't know what has changed recently for this to be happening. Basically spams and drains the BST's mana pull regardless of group status, current buffs, location or target.

did you go silver from gold?

EQ Has a bug where Comrade's Unity casts rk. II of Spirit of Siver even if you go silver, this causes the spam. Unfortunately beastlords have a few broken spells like this

You could either a: go gold, b: block Spirit of Siver on your pet - or go byos and make sure you don't have it mem'd

I keep hoping they'll fix these as i find them, but maybe not.

I shouldn't be but I will check soon to see if something happened for the status. Sometimes there seems to be lag between when they hit my card for account renewal and I have a few hours between where the status is off for active.

do you mean the spiritual regen line? no. but like the > FAQ < mentions anything you don't want on someone you would block

for example the spiritual V line you should have blocked on your cleric and paladins

Q. Why does my bst keep recasting Spiritual V line on my cleric?
A. I explain this in the mq2cleric video > HERE <. TL;DR - Spiritual V doesn't stack with yaulp, so when yaulp fades, if you don't have the spiritual V line blocked on your cleric, your bst will say "oh snap, my cleric needs spiritual V" and then when cleric uses yaulp, it will overwrite spiritual V - then when it fades we rinse and repeat.
 
What I mean is thtat something happened on the recent patch and now my Beastlord won't stop casting regrowth on people with Talisman of Perseverance. Is there a way to get them to stop?

if eq changed what mq understands stacks - then it is going to recast. the FAQ mentions what to do in these circumstances >>> mq2bst faq <<<


Q. Bst is chain casting something?
A. There are a few lower lvl / mid level buffs that eq/mq2 reports stack that do not, or will chain overwrite other buffs and you get into a buffing contest with another toon. You either have this situation or some other issues. I would suggest checking for the red error text that eq gives you to tell you WHY it didn't successfully take hold and then go from there. You can block anything you don't want cast.

This is a built-in everquest feature - right click on the buff and "add this spell to list of blocked spells" or go through the eq menu -> character -> blocked buffs.

EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Buffs
EQ Menu -> Character -> Blocked Pet Buffs (to add to anyone's pet blocked spells)

/blockspell add me id
/blockspell add pet id

This is particularly a problem with the focus line, especially if you have a large level gap between the bst and your cleric (particularly if your bst is lower than the cleric) - you can run into issues where mq says that it will stack, but then your armor of line will not actually allow it.

ok i run the mq2 bst and there are times when my bst runs back and forth or is constantly moving side to side. ive also grouped with another person that runs some of the other plugins rogue sk sham and his rogue just bounces all over like its in a pinball game is there a way to fix this other then clicking back on that screen? how wont run that toon outside of instances cause hes afraid of someone seeing this and reporting him.
