Plugin - MQ2Bst 3.1.52471.11

I run SK/CLR/BST/ROG/ZERK/BARD

Is there a possibility to have bst check for exceptional velocity buff and if it isn't up the bst would cast the pet unity spell that grants group haste.

Maybe this is covered but I can't seem to find anything. This would always keep the haste buff on the entire group. Only spell so far that i haven't seen it keep up on everyone.

Excellent plugins.

I'm pretty novice to bst in general so he is just running the plugin without much tending to.
yes, the changes have already been made, should be in next live update - it was an annoying re-write because of how those spells function

We do buff both merc ferocity and shared merc ferocity out of combat. - in fact, we ONLY check others out of combat.

are you sure you're not byos? we actually check in case you are byos.

keep in mind you only memorize mercferocity for low lvl/tlp stuff if you're not tanking and you don't have usemending on

On the one I checked no they don't have the 93 version.
ok do two things for me - in this order

check that you don't have a melee toon on your xtarget with xtarget buffing turned on (that will cause this spam).

if you dont, go and get your lvl 93 version of that spell (since that spell is the auto cast of the spell)

tell me if either 1 or 2 fixed it
 
The answer is no to the xtar.

did the spell version usage change with the post patch version because they weren’t doing it prior to today. None of my 5 have it I'll try grabbing the 93 version and see if that fixes it.

yes, someone asked for us to check for the autocast on our group members for haste purposes.

did you patch with the hotfix right above you?

that fix is the only thing i've been able to replicate.

try these steps and see if any fix you:

1. get rank 2 astounding velocity
2. go get your lvl 93 exceptional velocity if it isn't in your book /echo ${Me.Book[exceptional velocity]}
 
okay rk1 93 exceptional velocity has seemed to stop it thanks i was on a differnt spot when i originally posted and it put it here sorry sic and thanks for your time btw need a wizard plugin lol thanks man

update it fixed it till i put him back in group seems something is conflicting with the shaman buff the shitty added on haste to rygorr group buff fyi but if nobody has on that haste he wont do it if they do he will chain cast the unity and stupid shaman if somebody is missing shitty haste will rygoor still playing with it gonna see if i put ench haste on stops it but definatly bst wants its haste over shaman but shaman is better according to game and wont let the bst spell over write it. okay ench haste present does not stop the spam but in a group with a shaman it loops till you drop shaman haste and of course the shaman so he dont look silly he sits invis unless in a instance or single pause on

weird - I have several shaman with bst groups and i can't replicate it.

if i have celerity from the shaman, i don't try and cast it on the group

I'll keep seeing what i can do replicate it - might have to lvl up a no-spell having bst just for this
 
one other thing that does stop it or start it at leas tin group havnt tried out of group is combat will stop it untill you zone zoneing restarts it. i havnt tried asecond shaman i got 4 of em im using my top one is all other three either missing gear or aa or stupid epic which annoys me to death

yeah because we don't do it in combat unless it is our pet missing the buff.
 
On Riz (TLP) is Infusion of Spirit excluded from the UseFocus option? I don't think my bst is casting it on group members or pet.

focus line is all the focus of XXX spells, and then the pre-group version talismans (kragg at 62, altuna at 58 etc)

infusion of spirit is a weird HPBuff Category -> Strength Subcategory --- ya know even tho it is str/dex/sta ... because eq didn't have a great track record of putting spells where they might probably should be.

I'll look at adding it, but to answer specifically no, it isn't a spell in currently our "focus" line, but makes sense

Having afollow issues with BST only, I only bring this up here for the fact all 6 toons run on the same machine and it is the only toon with this issue. all but bard(sic KA) run CWTN plugins. All auto-follow using the built in grp follow button,

All have worked fine until the Unity patch was pushed(which works perfectly for me, thanks again for knocking that out.), all others will stay so close their nose burns. BST will detect warping and break afollow.

The other toons have no issues. Nothing was detected on their end. I have no idea how the Plugin would tie into this as this is handled by moveutils i would have thought. I did not notice a moveutils in the patch notes. This is all on Next not Live.

We don't use afollow in the plugins.

Any reason why you're not using chasemode?

Whatever the case is, your thought it is unrelated to mq2bst is correct.

I would, however, check your background fps isn't set to mininum. That can and will cause you background issues for afollow, or nav, or stick, or basically anything.

You almost certainly would experience the same thing if you unloaded mq2bst.

But yah, def not an mq2bst thing
 
Thanks Sic, I use afollow so I can just pause all. drag reset and pause off whiile invised. It just works well with how I play. I have never had the bard play well when KA is running. seems like it always wants to restart twist, or something else and break invis. pause/twist p locks him up until we engage again.

All of the CWTN are on Chase but paused while I move. I understand that is not a requirement but up until this past few days - week it was fine. I could have them a follow through cs without fail 10 times a day.


Frame rates are all the same.

Since this is not an issue with the plugin, let me know where we can move this discussion. I do not need to clutter up CWTNs plugins with my issues.
 
Afollow records and tries to replay them on the toon afollowing.

It is likely either a resource problem, like cpu is pegged, background frames issue like we were talking about, or possibly server lag causing a delay / hiccup.
 
Gladly remove my questions and your replies if you'd like. Ill look at everything on my end. the Zones have been more populated than normal being a weekend.
 
Mq2Bst is so damn effective. I tried really hard and i am not even getting within 80+ % of its DPS output when i play by hand.

One thing that still makes it more uncomfortable to play than for example mq2war in manual mode is the constant loss of target.

I pick target, it fights, then casts a buff on self, then stands there watching the warder. I pick target again, it fights, then buffs the pet, and back it is to watching the warder. Its not switching back to the target i told it to fight.

I know its not made for the purpose i use it for (basically playing by hand but have some support features). I just mention it in case its an easy add and you guys have nothing much to do :xd:

nope, that is what it does - if you are in manual mode and you're no longer targeting what you're fighting, you're going to stop fighting.

imagine being in manual mode and clearing your target because you don't want to damage, but now you re-target it just willy nilly. defeats the purpose

now keep in mind, the caster only classes like shm/clr/enc/nec/wiz/mag/dru are going to recheck for target from ma - which is why there is no switchwithma toggle, and those classes it does it in manual mode because of how those classes need to operate, but for the melee classes, or hybrid classes like bst, we're not going to re-target anything if your target was cleared

you should consider using sictank mode and moving to where you need/want to be and then resetting your camp - if it goes to hit your pet with a buff, it'll retarget afterwards and continue fighting as that mode is intended to do. you're not going to do that in manual mode.

Works great when you're driving with a tank. But only mediocre when driving from DPS class. Hence my comment about being less comfortable to play than mq2war.

One day i'll find the time and go work something out using mq2melee/cast as was often suggested to support manual play.

If you just playing a single character on a raid setting, you much better off learning to play the class sans automation. Mq2melee/cast are trash, don't bother with those plugins.
