Explore.Mac - An Explorer / Traveler Achievement Macro

Release Explore.Mac - An Explorer / Traveler Achievement Macro 1.3.1

Two significant issues I am seeing on my toons. First, toons will not pick up parcels..window open, macro says waiting for them to be ready..they are ready and I have to retrv them manually then restart macro. Second, one of my toons is not casting cloudy potion...even though they are in his inventory. Both of these issues seems to push the macro into requiring quite a bit of manual babysitting.
Check your DeneCore\DeneCore_<server>_<character>.ini file. See what's in invisClickie and invisClickie2. This is mine from one of my cloudy-using toons:
[General] invisClickie=Cloudy Potion invisClickie2=Cloudy Potion ivuClickie= shrinkClickie=Philter of the Ant levClickie=Philter of Gulon's Impunity minimumInvisPots=60 minimumShrinkPots=60 maxPlatPerPotion=500

/if (${levAbility}==6) /alt act ${Me.AltAbility[Bobbing Corse]} .... may should be modified to /if (${levAbility}==6) /alt act ${Me.AltAbility[Bobbing Corpse]}
Noted. I'll add it to the next version.

ok so i have been running it for a little while and its in kunark now but the problem is it stopped running and when i try to manually run like hitting W or forward to move it only takes a tiny baby step then stop. i have to hold down my mouse buttons to get it to walk but all my other toons movement is fine its only the toon i was running explore mac on is this a known thing? how do i fix this because even after ending mac relogging everything i cant even move him around normally
I had same effect once today. Maybe a mix of 2 or more movement-commands got applied simultaneously blocking each other.
I used the Pause Hotbutton. Than I used the StopMe Button found somewhere here in the forums a while ago:
/hot StopMe 13 /squelch /multiline ; /afollow off ; /stick off ; /moveto off ; /nav stop ; /play off
This should stop all kind of possible active movement-commands.
After that I moved manually to the Zone line where the toon should have gone.
Once zoned, I could use the unpause Hotbutton to keep exploring going.
Same Issue today, character nailed in place with no means to move in any direction. This time there was no way to get it solved, apart from closing eq-client and restart from scratch. Felt like 2h of exploration lost, because restarting brought me back to the boat VS. Tim-Deep, where I have waiting for the boat about 2h ago.
A pause button which would stop any possible command of active navigation-command could help to solve this kind of issue. The Stop-button mentioned above was not sufficient, to unfreeze movement.

If you both would, check the meshes you're using for those zones. I provide my own mesh repro just in case Wired's are down or have issues. You can find them here.

Is there a command to pause the exploration at the end of the actual trail?
From the Overview page:

⁃ Two hotkeys are recommended.
⁃ /noparse /hot PauseExp 1 /multiline ; /mqp on ; /docommand ${If[${Navigation.Active},/nav Pause,]}
⁃ /noparse /hot UnpauseExp 14 /multiline ; /mqp off ; /docommand ${If[${Navigation.Paused},/nav Pause,]}

Using those Hotbuttons once a while when levi is still active and toon is too hight.
Found out, that if you get stuck and do nothing else but move to next zone I can resume with /mac explore the active trail without having to start the trail from beginning.
Getting a feeling how long it will take to explore all zones, but I can't imagine how long it took, to create all of them.
What a huge work it must have been to get this all done. Got RoK done and exploring SoV actually.

I never would have started an attempt to get the compass maxed, without this Tool.

3 points for the list "nice to have":
- Bards Selos-AAs automatic click when it runs out
- Shamans "communion of Cheetah"-AA (runspeed)
- mounting when zoning to an outdoor zone

all 3 of them are easy to apply manually, so just a matter of convience

Yeah, those should have been considered, especially common themes like bard selos and mounts (specifically knight mounts being insta-cast)

/if (${Me.Class.Name.Equal[Bard]}) /call castSelos | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | SUB: castSelos | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sub castSelos |-leave sub if we have Selo's on us /if (${Me.Buff[Selo's Accelerando].ID} || ${Me.Buff[Selo's Accelerato].ID}) { /return } else /if (${Me.AltAbilityReady[Selo's Sonata]}) { /alt act ${Me.AltAbility[Selo's Sonata]} } /return

Selos is autocast. Or was for the 6+ months of testing. If it's not, no one has reported that fact previously. (If point of fact, there were a lot of posts between 1.0 and 1.1 where Selo's was getting chain cast.)

likely noone will belive that, but today, running on LDons the bard autocast selos. I could swear, yesterday I applied selos serveral times manually, because the buff wasn't up. As I ran unbuffed, I am about sure, I couldn't have overseen it.

One more Idea for the "Nice to have" list:
at the question "are you shure you want to leave the task" (Y/N) an automatic click of yes would be nice, if possible.

But as the toons have a hard time clicking doors sometimes both ways in and out, I neverlheless keep a close eye on their behavior.
When it comes close to the last mission in one camp, it sometimes takes really long to get this last task. I dont know what I would do, If I had to do all this clicking manually ;)

A Missing boss/LDoN Zone pair ..... at North Ro "Escon Quickbow". .... Send that Log .... found the log .. it says:

[10/28/2020 17:28:11] Missing INI Entry for Takish-Hiz, Boss: Darta Berserker Tiriut, Adventure Text: "The power of the curse in Deepest Guk grows stronger every day as the souls of adventurers fall to it. Several creatures in the slimy surroundings are brimming with the curse and their only occupation is to blight any living being that enters Deepest Guk. There is one creature called Darta Berserker Tiriut that must be killed so we can slow the proliferation of the curse. You can find your way to him through a barricaded door in Upper Guk."

2 toons (each grouped with a merc and a toon sitting in gl) reached freeport at the attempt to continue running LDons today and stop running repeating an infinite loop about "ConfirmationDialogBox" not available.
This happened starting the todays Exploring in the guildlobby. They run from Lobby to east Freeport and stopped there.
Have no Idea how to get around that. Does anyone have an idea?

Addendum: until yesterday I explored without the eqbc-server. Today the toons stopped and insisted to et connected to the eqbc-server, so I launched it.

Compass doesn't matter. You MUST have these accomplishments done:

1) Norrathian Explorer
2) Ruins of Kunark Explorer
3) Scars of Velious Explorer
4) Shadows of Luclin Explorer
5) Planes of Power Explorer
6) Legacy of Ykesha Explorer
7) Lost Dungeons of Norrath Explorer
8) Gates of Discord Explorer
9) Omens of War Explorer
10) Dragons of Norrath Explorer
11) Depths of Darkhollow Explorer
12) Prophecy of Ro Explorer
13) The Serpent's Spine Explorer
14) The Buried Sea Explorer
15) Secrets of Faydwer Explorer
16) Explorer of the Void (Seeds of Destruction)
17) Underfoot Explorer
18) House of Thule Explorer
19) Veil of Alaris Explorer
20) Explorer of the Rain of Fear
21) Call of the Forsaken Explorer
22) Explorer of the Darkened Sea
23) Explorer of the Broken Mirror
24) Explorer of the Empires of Kunark
25) Explorer of the Ring of Scale

Denethor,

Great work! Using it now to clean up a few achievements. Highly recommend an invis check in Shadowhaven. As a lizzy, those guards didn't like me and I slaughtered everyone on the way to Paludal Caverns.

Thanks for your work.

is there a way to raise the zone dwell time? or do i have to manual walk back to the 15 or so its missed (up to DoDH) due to the turn and run?

It is the foreground window, my server is just laggy as heck..

There isn't a universal wait time assigned in each zone. You have to edit the code for each zone manually, I'm afraid. I attempted to find a balance point between waiting for achievements to be recognized (but couldn't be triggers because the runner may already have the zone) and keeping it fast enough so that folks didn't complain, "Why I am standing around it zones I don't need?!?"

I may be speaking out my butt as I’m not super familiar with it; is there a way to check the toons traveler achievement? I know there is not one for every zone. If they do not have the traveler achievement wait for the event or X seconds where X is much longer than if they had it.

that could later give room to allow the skipping of zones not needed.

Having problems with this macro on my bard. He gets stuck in a loop chain activating Selo's Sonata AA. Clicked off all other buffs to make sure nothing else was conflicting. I remember hearing an issue with this bard AA before, but not too sure on the fix though.

I am attempting to run the macro on a bard as well. Using the version dated 2020-06-16 with DeneCore dated 2020-06-16. I am having the same issue described with Selo's chain casting.

Sorry all. I was AFK yesterday moving my youngest out and halfway across the country. :P

I'm at work catching up. I'll try to load my bard and see if I can replicate the behavior this evening.

EqSubi15 - What level bard are you using?

115 bard

I just tested with two different 115 bards. Neither experienced the difficulty you mention. So...

How did you install the macro? Manually downloaded or installed via the launcher?
(If manual, delete it, and install via the launcher)

This reads very much like a bug that was fixed around October of last year....

Everything is fully up-to-date:

I'm not running any other plugins aside from MQ2EQWire when I tried this.

From what I'm seeing, the Bard is conflicting between Selo's Sonata II and Shauri's Sonorous Clouding. Going back and forth trying to have both run speed and invis.

You'll be running more plugins. There's a lot loaded by default (and some that shouldn't be).

And you're correct. It's casting Selo's, then moving on to invis. Then when it goes to move, it runs a check for Selo's... And for some reason, it's not finding it. So it recasts Selo's, which breaks invis... And we enter a loop.
This was caused several months ago be the changes in naming convention to Selo's. And it was fixed back in October/November timeframe.

This is the relevant codeblock:
| ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- | SUB: castSelos | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sub castSelos |-leave sub if we have Selo's on us /if (${Me.Buff[Selo's Accelerando].ID} || ${Me.Buff[Selo's Accelerato].ID}) { /return } else /if (${Me.AltAbilityReady[Selo's Sonata]}) { /alt act ${Me.AltAbility[Selo's Sonata]} } /return

Try running these two commands and sending me the outputs:
/echo ${Me.Buff[Selo's Accelerando].ID} /echo ${Me.Buff[Selo's Accelerato].ID}

Ok issue solved on my end. The macro is using the AA Selo's Sonata but I had blown past the Selo's Accelerato. I went back and puchased that spell and problem is solved.

Looks like this was the same problem I had. I was missing Selo's Accelerato song.

I am having some issues with the housing route. The macro just ends without doing anything. Is there something specific that needs to be done for this route?

It should have flashed a message on-screen. There is no housing route as every server would need a different route, and they would need to be constantly updated as guilds/individuals granted or removed visitor permissions.
You're welcome to contribute a custom-route for your server, but I'm not currently maintaining routes for housing myself.
