Release Explore.Mac - An Explorer / Traveler Achievement Macro 1.3.1

I'll address these in order:
  1. First, the logs will be in ../MQ2/Release/Logs.
  2. Butcherblock Not Triggering Achievements - This is a game function. Not the macro. Frequently, you'll get the achievement, but the window won't update. Try switching to the achievement list for another xpac, and then back.
  3. The thrown error is a missing boss/zone combo. I've found out already in Rujuarkian Hill that will be in v1.2.1. Find the log file and send it to me so I can get them added
Thanks for the response I have the log it matched the date and time of the error however it is an empty file and it is the only one showing as explore.mac.log all others in this folder are .dmp. Upon login the following day the achievements we present I assumed it didnt trigger because i didnt see the achievement in chat. Good to know in the future. I will run the LDoN module later and see if I can generate a log with some actual information if I do ill PM you the log.
 
Well, as you are the only report of this issue, and given that you've implemented your own work around, I'm going to cease to troubleshoot. If you run into further issues, let me know. But, forewarning, my first step will be to delete and upgrade to the published v1.2 (or whatever is current release at that time).

I implemented my fix to 1.2 and it works fine now also. As I have mentioned before the issue is with the mac calling for both Selo AA and Shauris AA. The AA over right each other and puts it into a loop. I appreciate your efforts.
 
Nm , not going to mess with this today . Frustrating me too badly . Thanks for your support , worked for 3 toons , now doesnt, isnt anything from here. I messed something up Im sure .
 
I bought this mac back in april - older version and ran it with great success on the toon i wanted to at the time.
Have just updated and am trying to run on another toon, and toon just stands in PoK.

Macro runs and just stops at 'Lets get dangerous'

The log file is 0 bytes.

I have updated macro, denecore and navmesh, and deleted ini files

If i run on cleric, does nothing, if i run on chanter it starts running off where its meant to go
Cleric is in group with Chanter and Bard - before running, i used Distract the departed and Perfected Invis from chanter to give both invis

Not sure what to try next

Additional : just found my original download of 1.1 and tried it instead - it did the same thing on cleric - cleric wouldnt run, chanter started ok
 
Headed to bed, so won't have another response from me for at least 8 hours... But - Check the Macros\DeneCore\Denecore_<server>_<toon>.ini file.
See what's listed for the invis clickie. Post it here, or PM me.

Also, if you run it again, do this:

I'm having some problems, I purchased and downloaded explorer as well as the DeneCore ones, but I can't get explorer to load.

Here's the plugin section from my MQ ini file. Part of the error message it's giving me is for a plugin called mq2bucles but I don't know what it is.

It shouldn't throw an error on Bucles... It should just unload it and tell you that it did. (And reload upon script completion.)

What's the error message? What is the macro doing/not doing?

It just throws me a bunch of errors and ends, it's way too much brackets and sub brackets for me to try and type it out, let me see if I can get a screenshot later and post it that way

Option 1 - Delete DeneCore and Explore.mac files. Go to the Overview tab of both posts and WATCH the them. Then use the Launcher to install them.
Option 2 - PM me a screenshot (don't post it here) of your directory structure for DeneCore and Explore.Mac and it's include files.

Hey guys, i am having a problem running explore, everything was going smoothly i got half way through the Achievement and it just stopped in East Freeport right next to Bartender guy and his wagon. Char just sits there and the Adventure window opens and closes over and over again. ExplorerErrorMSG.png
 
Try moving to the LDoN camp in NRo. Sounds like someone updated the EFP mesh and it's not nav'ing to the camp properly.
 
running on heroic bard (only has aa up to 85) that is technically lvl 108 just hasn't gotten aa since 85. The macro keeps trying to wait for an aa ability / clicky to be avail instead of moving despite having the lvl 19 spell version of Sharuri's Sonorous Clouding scribed to use for invisibility (i dont have the aa version that aa first level was only available at 91), if i manually cast the spell in every zone the macro runs normally up until it runs out/i zone (it will usually keep it up for the duration of a zone refreshing the time (prob other mq2 stuff)) but otherwise the macro constantly is stuck waiting for aa/clicky wont run (just stutter step then pause again) without me manually clicking the spell all the time

how do i tell the macro to cast the spell version of Sharuri's Sonorous Clouding for my invis in each zone? it keeps overwriting my denecore file with "cloudy potion" whenever i put the spell name "Sharuri's Sonorous Clouding" in the invisclickie and ivuclickie spots and run /mac explore again (probably because i don't have the aa and they are the same name or the macro doesn't support the spell version)

I tried altering the macro itself adding ${Me.SpellReady[Sharuri's Sonorous Clouding]} to the /varset invisAbility and /varset ivuAbility lists (im pretty sure the 19 spell does undead too) in the core "explore" file code (i did it after the other ability checks at the end of the list so it still has the Me.AltAbilityReady[[Sharuri's Sonorous Clouding] check too, but that didn't work (really thought it would since it does the Me.AltAbilityReady checks there and "sonorous" doesn't appear anywhere else in the file)

Id really like to use the spell since cloudy potions do not work against undead

As stated on the overview, the macro is designed for level 110+ characters. It's expected that a bard at 110 would have those AA's (I believe they are auto-granted somewhere below 106). So, currently, the macro is working as intended. It there is no routine/code to support a spell-based invis.

That said, I'll see what I can do to add in some code to work in your use case. If I can, I'll send you the update via PM. I wouldn't expect it before this weekend however.

I did have a different question, I have run this rather successfully on multiple accounts, but a handful of my characters when i run it say running xyz or heading to guild hall "lets get dangerous" and then the macro never actually does anything more / the characters dont move (they have mq2nav etc on i use it all the time), it happened on my cleric, my enchanter, and my paladin so far (my sk, 3 rogues, mage, and bard all worked fine). i checked that they have shrink potions, invis potions, levitate potions etc and their denecore files seem to be correctly setup when i run it

what would cause it to issue no warnings at all say its starting a route then do nothing? (these are all 110 chars with mostly max aa). i cant figure out why it works for some chars/classes but not others

../Release/Logs/explore.mac.log - I think I know which boss/zone did it, but send the log in PM anyways. I'll confirm. If so, I have it already fixed in v1.2.1
 
Is your XTar #1 set to something other than Auto?
XTarget 1-4 were all set to auto normally on them, each of them had other characters set for XTAR 5+ for xtarget healing and buffing, removing ALL XTarget settings fixes it apparently (paly only had slot 5 set)

Would never have figured out that was the issue, TYSM!

Is that a bug? or something worth putting in notes? (will not run if you have any characters saved for x target healing/buffing)
(If that was there I apologize I definitely didn't see it)

Look at the requirements at the top of the Overview page for Explore.mac. It's listed in them. It's a set of common include files for this and my other macros, so I don't have to write certain functions repeatedly. (I'm lazy this morning, or I'd offer you a link directly to Denecore here. Oh, forgot... It's in my signature below too.)
 
testing LDoN stuff got the following error (it did complete the achievement eventually on 1 toon (didnt time it but was also veryy long) the second has been stuck for over 12 hours at the same part now that i am timing)

attaching log it said to submit looks like the same prompt is failing

outside of that having run on 8+ accounts Ocean-green village to ocean-green hills and back if the macro/nav pathing itself fails to hit the zone line on the way out of that loop for some reason (like you have to manually walk it the last inch bc it didnt quite click the zone line at the end of the part you are required to be in first person view watching the screen) it gets stuck in endless loop going back and forth between the two, pausing and resuming in the zone after doesn't seem to work either to continue plane of time progression. it happened on 5 accounts and had to restart the loop till it got it right (no idea what causes it to fail, other parts of macro manually pathing/pausing and resuming works fine in areas the mesh/pathing is broken (about 4-5 times in entire run)


Said it before but this macro is incredible and totally worth the money!

I have tried fresh installs and put both downloads into every folder in mq2 and still nothing .

Could not open include file : C:\Users\Mike\Desktop\Mq2\Release\Macros\DeneCore\DeneCore-Utils.inc
I have put them anywhere and everywhere , Its making me just want to do them manually . It worked for 2 other toons , now nothing . I had to take a week off of trying was frustrating me so badly hehe .

I did some googlage. Guess the points are just for "bragging rights". Would have been neat if you could buys bags or the like with points from achievements.

The evolving boots from TBL expansion require you have every traveler achievement in order to unlock additional levels of evolution. That was the whole point to making this macro and yes, it very much still works.

If you don't the boots and don't intend to evolve them, I wouldn't worry about it.
