Question - Zerker or Monk?

Does anyone have a raid parse with zerker and monk on it?

I want to replace the rangers in my melee groups since Auspice is seeing a big diminishing return. I know zerker provides some buffs to a melee group, does monk have something similar to it?

I though zerkers stacked well together in melee DPS groups. I always thought of zerker as more of a DPS, but monks being better if your soloing because they are really versatile.

People been praising monks for topping dps in raid but I haven't seen parses for them.

Just getting my monk higher level / gear, been doing really nice on my group parses. Definitely competing (and sometimes passing) my 2 rogues in the group.

Put them in the same group

Raid content with the same group a monk will usually outparse. But duration matters. For a short burst a berserker shines, the longer it goes the more it starts to rank monk -> rogue -> zerker. (This assumes burns timed appropriately as well)

zerk monk bst the 3 amigos all helpin each outer out, add the war/sk bard and healer and you set

Zerker has very good burst and ADPS, but will struggle to over take a Monk.

the way we do this event they would have only gotten 1 burn in each.

@Mikey02 depending on what you're doing I'd go Rogues + bard and get every caster/melee focus and poison potions stacking. Should see a DRASTIC increase in dps from rogues on team.

I dunno, those guys looks like bards to me.

the #1 is a rog, but with less ADPS in group (brd,shm,zrk group) its just better geared. but everyone in that list is decently geared.

If you look at them over time, say a 3000 mob parse the rogue wins every time all else equal. It will be rogue, monk, zerker in that order every time. Only time rogue doesn't win is when it is not played properly, rogue is the one class you do not save anything for burns, not ever. They use every skill all the time.

If your in group content it doesnt matter, Zerker, Rogue, Monk all great dps. Mobs arent living long with any of them. I dont use a Monk but thats just me. I have Rogues and Zerkers cause I can set them up as three key wonders. With any of the options here you can pick any and the mobs arent last more the 20 seconds. Even named are going down quickly. If your Raiding with them, then the parses you see explain all you need to go with.

Right now if played well Mages can top the Parses in raids, Wizards are right there too. It depends on whos playing them and what they are trying to achieve. Heck we have a Beast that competes most the time too.

What blows my mind is the WAR getting #2
