can you list the order you have the quest programed to run so i know if there's a glitch in the sequence of a quest that's being skipped.

Should do all of the solo quests first, then the group ones. It's really going to be different every time on the line up depending on which ones you finish first. Some mobs might not be up, some mobs on your quest list will die in the process of running to another quest and possibly finish that quest first. If it runs from start to finish without a glitch. it is working. :) Shouldn't "skip" any quests. It will finish them all.
 
Sadly this macro does not work with MQNext. It breaks in several areas, the first is it can not click the totem. I manually did that and got things rolling, but then it breaks when giving the weapon to one of the starter NPCs for an augment - at which point it seems to just go and kill bats and rats endlessly. I am using it with 6 new characters, each one has the same issues.

Haven't really looked at MQNext, but I assume the commands might be different, not really sure. Works great with mq2.

Yes, latest one. can't click the totem is a simple /useitem command. Not sure what the turning in a weapon to get an aug is about. There is no turning in a weapon to get an aug. Theres a turn in of a weapon to get an upgraded weapon, the aug quest doesnt happen till the end and you don't turn in a weapon. So not sure what the issue is. haha

Could be something to do with running six toons at one time sending eqbc commands to other toons. shrug

I didn't run the six characters all at once.

Created a new character this morning to get this Screenshot.

Single character. No other characters loaded.

This is where it gets stuck after talking with Basher Alga trying to click the totem.

As far as the "turn in weapon with aug" to be honest I don't really know what it was doing - but there was some text about a weapon or augmented weapon - but the fact is, the script would put the sword in the trade window with the NPC and then get an error.

In general, I'm not sure there's anything broken with your script, but the combination of Next and this script seems to be.
 
Looked into this a bit, seems /casting is part of MQ2Cast - which I didn't have loaded. Sorry, kind of a new guy here. I also saw an error early on about /forage, which I guess is MQ2AutoForage not loaded as well. And at this point, whatever issue it has handing in the weapon is probably another plugin I don't have loaded. Is there any way the macro could load the plugins it needed before it started?

The forage error will just stop forage if it is running, I probably should check to see if it is running first, the mq2cast thing I will have to look at. Thanks for the feedback.

I see the check for mq2autoforage was backward. :) should be ${Plugin instead of !${Plugin

I'm glad I could help a little - I really like this macro/script and I think that we should point new people to try this, so they can see just what MQ and scripting can do since it covers a lot (combat, navigation, and npc interaction). I also know that Next is an up-and-coming technology within the community - so I think it's important that a new person downloading Next and then trying this would have a good experience. Thanks for taking a look.
 
I have been around these forums for longer than I like to admit, but I'm far from a programmer. :) However, I do love a good challenge . I love the community and creating macros. Putting stuff into a file and watching it automate gives me a high. lol
 
Hi :)

I was trying this today, with a brand new char, and many times it was holding on, with attacking to targets. So, I pressed attack. Then it continued. And some another times, it was stuck with routing from quest getting done to returning point. But, I have to say, keep doing it, I am loving idea of this.
I will be testing it time to time. :)
 
Here is a demo run of the tutorial.mac with the only intervention of assigning my mercenary the main tank role. I think I died once due to a mob healing 3 mobs that were on aggro. After death my toon went and got the buff from Rytan med up and continued. The quest line did get a little off after the death, but it went back and finished up the missing quests at the end. Took about 1 1/2 hours video is 6x speed.

I think it is stuck on vermin nests.
I could not reproduce the error here. Do you have mq2melee loaded? I am working on the fix for the null slot issue /itemnotify. Will update in a short while.
 
for some reason my character isn't giving stuff to the npc's. like when i creat a new character and run it it will kill the jailer loot the key but never give it to arias.

just saw the update just now its working
 
When getting to the spider cave for the first time to do coccoon task character is getting stuck on the ground at loc -676.69, -372.93, -62.92 I have to jump or wait for a spider to attack before it gets unstuck. using latest navmesh as well.

Did you try the new navmesh file within five minutes of your post?
 
I find that moving away from adds just kills the tank faster because your not helping in the killing. if tank dies you die, because all your character is doing is running into and out of the fight and not helping.
 
found small bug with cleric, when low on heath, he sat down targeted himself and cast heal spell and continued till full health. then while still targeting himself tries to find a rat to kill but doesn't go to the rat because he is targeting himself.
this is while tank is dead. if its intended to do that ignore this.
