Release Tradeskill recipes (max out Artisan's Prize) 4.07

Anyone ran into an issue with the Breakfast Feast and Breakfast Gift Basket recipes? Keeps trying to combine but gets stuck in a loop as the game says the recipe can't be combined in the container (using oven).

*Edit: same result with a Spit

**2nd Edit: I figured out the issue; there are two versions of Silk Napkin in-game, and it was trying to use the wrong ones for the combine. The correct version is the one made from Drachnid Silk. Hope this helps if anyone else gets hung up on that combine.

This is what I was thinking too. But then I discovered the items were not no drop. So now I'm going to create erudites and level them up to get the pieces.
This was a stupid idea by the way. Anyone have a list of all the numbers to block to skip the faction/town specific ones for blacksmithing?

Just FYI for those with the comma issues:

lines 187-189 in jande.inc need to be commented out:

|: /if (${Math.Calc[${Window[MerchantWnd].Child[ItemList].List[${ListItem},5].Left[-1]}*${amount}]} > ${Me.Platinum}) {
|: /echo \arRUN!\ax ${Window[MerchantWnd].Child[MW_MerchantName].Text} does not extend credit
|: /return

Have an issue where the recipeFarm value in my tradesman.ini isn't being used. I've tried setting it to different values like 100, 500 or 0 but if I /echo ${recipeFarm} during runtime it's always 30. Even after changing the default in the macro itself. It's very odd. Anyone seen this before?

@jande having issues with this not sure what got changed but having issues with getting this to work example 1692497738407.jpeg no matter what commands i run, (ising the commands from the overview/commands section ) this is the result i get the initial command was /mac ts/tradesman poisonmaking dryrun , so then i tried ths command listing in this ( see pic ) so i tried running using the command line listed above(in the pic) and just get the same output , so im not sure if it's broke , or what the deal is i have an older copy i am going to try to use and see if that will fix this issue , but right now it is not working for me at all

other info - has the merchant perk 12 top inv slots , all top slots have a container in them has over 100 bag slots open on toon slot 10 has an empty bag in it ( have had issues with that befrore ..this is not my first rodeo with this macro )

I know he stated he did not want to support slot 11 and 12, but you might have to have 1 item in each bag for it to be recognized as a valid container. EQ/MQ (unsure which) sometimes will bug out with empty bags.

I am getting the error Unparsable in Calculation while running the finditem.mac. I am almost positive it is due to the price of the item that it is wanted to buy being over a threshhold. but I cannot find where to change that threshhold.

Any one point me in the right direction?

It's likely due to the comma in the price now, and the macro not being updated to handle it.

Check out the post a few above this: https://www.redguides.com/community...ipes-max-out-artisans-prize.70361/post-566993

Any chance we can get this to pull from the Trade skill Depo and or dragons hoard with the find item command the way it does the bank and merchant's ?

PS. i have no idea if it already pulls from dragons hoard or not have not attempted that as mine is full of non trade skill junk

I paid and have read everything and still can’t figure it out.
What exactly are you doing, what is the expected result and what is the result you're getting?

Very basically you should be able to type /mac ts/tradesman skill learn and it will attack to make combines for that skill based on what you have in your bags. Once it finishes it will print a list of materials to farm/buy/make for your next set of combines. Once you have them, run the command again and it will start attempting combines. Rinse and repeat.

I paid and have read everything and still can’t figure it out.
best bet is to be in PoK near small bank or in GH where ever your guild has Trade skill stuff set up
start by typing in /mac ts/tradesman ****** learn replace the ***** with desiered skill
you will see the MQ2 window start scrolling let it run till it stops , its much easyer if you enlarge the MQ2 chat window after it ends it will show a list of sub combines needed and above that a shopping list of TS items needed based on the recipies it tryed and what is needed to make them.
you can then click on a merchant and type /mac ts/finditem ****** replace the ***** with toon name and it will auto buy any items in the shopping list that the merchant has for sale

just re run the prog after you have added items to inventory

make sure bag in slot #10 is ither empty or as close to empty as you can get after it makes an item that is not also useable in another recipe it will be placed in bag #10 for easy find to sell or what ever you want
things to note because of code limitation's any item trying to be purchased that cost more then 1,000 plat the , in the 1000 throws the prog off and it will stop the prog
the prog can pull from bank with find item the same as a merchant

once you have that working then if you feel confidant you can go into the prog files and adjust some numbers i think the default # of recipies to produce a shopping list for is 30 ? i have mine set to 9999 basicly it produces a Full shopping list for me to complet that trade skill or mostly

Thank you this was much helpful!

Thank you this was much helpful!
also in the prog files there is a setting for how many sub combines it will go i think mine is set to 5 or 6
AKA if you are trying to make item and it takes another made item that is also made up of 2 or 3 items that are also player made ect ect if you do not up that number it might take many runs throu the program befor you have the proper items already made befor it can attempt the final combine witch can becom an issue if your also set to only produce a shopping list for 30 recipies , you can end up in a loop of you need X,Y,Z items to make attempted recipe but X,Y,Z are also player made and not included in the list of attempted recipes for the shopping list.

to adjust right click purple MQ like you would for loading group > open folder > Config> open folder TS > Open file Tradesman
find subcombine= change to higher than 5, ( mine is set to 9 )
find recipeFarm= change to however many recipe's you want to try before creating a shopping list
find mayDestroy=0 and waitDestroy=5 this is for if you want it to destroy items stuck on curser / items you want to destroy ( mine is turned off because i have autoforager running and i dont want it destroying my foraged items it detects on curser

there is also a way to add recipes by recipe ID# to a blocked list some of the recipe's have been changed so no longer work the way the prog try's to make them. i have not bothered to add them yet or look into how to add them

I'm getting hung up trying to combine research 668. Says I need to be 325 to attempt and i am 316.

I'm getting hung up trying to combine research 668. Says I need to be 325 to attempt and i am 316.
Is that the Faded Restless Velium Proficiency?
That seems like an odd message, you shouldn't need to be 301+ for any combine.

Edit: BUT APPARENTLY...

Notes

There is a minimum skill required for this combine, please confirm. Reported not to combine at 300 + 12% modifier (336).

Looking for finditem "character name" with bank and depot open, but its not looking in the depot - is there another command for depot?

What about running the program on drops. If my skills is 150 and I'm getting 200 or 250 drops will it still combine them and give me credit for the successes?

Love the macro, saves a ton of work. Any chance the plugin part is available seperatly? I generally compile MQ from git lab w the plugins/settings I want so every time I want to run it I have unload my default MQ and swap over to the RG version. Granted its worth the effort it saves me but still a bit annoying.

Outstanding work on this macro. Any chance for an updates with the newer recipes?
same here, it looks like all thats needed is the ini to be updated but i work all day long, it would be worth something if it were done as an add on or whatever needs to be done.

I have, I believe, all working ToL and NoS recipes.

For LS I have completed: baking, brewing, fishing, jewelcraft, research, smithing, tailoring
exceptions: one recipe I have found on EQTC is incorrect and will not combine, it's on my list to research and fix and am speaking with devs on the EQTraders side

Still to be completed: alchemy, poison, pottery, tinkering

I will attempt to publish as an update on this resource. I've never pushed something which has a multi-level folder structure before, so fingers-crossed there.

I also have miscellaneous updates for the comma problem, some Eron's recipes, some makelist files, and other things I've augmented over the past couple of years. I am unsure how Jande compiled recipes, but I have a thorough system that I created last year which generates, for each recipe, the 4 areas in .ini files that need to be updated. I also have a fundamental understanding of making the macro aware of recipes versus knowing it needs to make recipes for the march onward to 350. It's just that implementing recipes takes time, it's a lot of tedious migraine-inducing copy/paste work. I still have on my to-do list a few recipe updates or additions that I have noticed in patch notes or other things, such as 2 bard song recipes for research.

I'm sorry for the delay. Testing recipes requires tradeskill resources which, based on expansion, might be difficult to obtain. For example, this year it's timber/wood that's sort of a pain and requires a focused and concentrated effort for 12+ hours to harvest an acceptable amount.

completed - LS alchemy, baking, brewing, fishing, jewelcraft, pottery, research, smithing, tailoring, tinkering

still to-do -
  1. fletching (15 recipes), poison (there's like 33 recipes, only three of which actually matter)
  2. JC type 18/19 augs (some recipe IDs were missing from EQTC and I've farmed enough of the acolyte things to make them all)
  3. misc updates I have written down to add

I'll update when I have this completed.

These are what I have in the lookup.ini (there are also tradeskill specific files) for Laurion's Song, so far:

BlankStare updated Tradeskill recipes (max out Artisan's Prize) with a new update entry:

Sorry 4 The Wait

I had full intention of releasing a NoS update last year, and then.. I didn't. So, here's Night of Shadows, and Laurion's Song, plus some extra stuff. My apologies, I was learning how to add all these recipes in and grabbing a better understanding of how Jande programmed all of this.

- NoS recipes - if any are missing please let me know
- LS recipes - should be the full list, I've only tested about half of them, please give feedback!
- Songs: Warsong of the Vah Shir + Pests of the Piper rk...

Read the rest of this update entry...

I can see the baking recipes in the ini file however when i try

/mac ts\tradesman baking learn serene

It doesnt process anything
Doesn't give me a list of the recipes or items to farm

I just ran
/mac ts\tradesman ls makelist armortailor and it reportd do not know Fading Memory xxx Armor for all pieces

And it produces output as it runs through those recipes:

Is this not what you see?

The tailoring_recipe.ini file should definitely be in your MQNext\macros\ts\ folder. Is it missing?

running into an issue with new Li Jewelcrafting recipies.
i am getting a shopping list for
Half-moon Reflective Emberquartz Crystal , Marquise Reflective Emberquartz Crystal , Pear Reflective Emberquartz Crystal , Oval Reflective Emberquartz Crystal
i took me a while because i actuly made them thinking it was just messing up on the subcombine for some reason but then i noticed the list should be.
Half-moon Cut Reflective Emberquartz Crystal , Marquise Cut Reflective Emberquartz Crystal , Pear Cut Reflective Emberquartz Crystal , Oval Cut Reflective Emberquartz Crystal
they are all missing the (( Cut )) from the name.

new Poison recipes that require two of the various crafted Extract's are attempting to use only one of the Extract's.
also there are Emberquartz Flecked Sealed Poison vial as well as Emberquartz Flecked Poison vial , all of the recipes seem to be trying to use the Sealed type

I will look into that, thanks for letting me know. I had not yet tested poisonmaking.

its not your fault both Alla as well as EQ traders have wrong info on most of the poison recipes
i ended up hand making all of the poison recipes.
what i ended up doing was going back to previous recipes for them and just swapping in the new TS mats on the items that changed from recipe to recipe for each higher rank.
the vast majority of them just swapped out luclin extract's for Ember extract's as well as the poison vial , the emulsifier and suspention fluids stayed the same

Hello, new user of the mac, bought and downloaded, but when I go to try the 1st command ([BGCOLOR=initial]/mac ts/tradesman blacksmithing)[/BGCOLOR][BGCOLOR=initial], seems I'm missing jande.inc, and it's calling for it. Where do I get that file, read instructions, but doesn't mention this file, other than it should be in the download, which it wasn't. Please advise. Thanks! [/BGCOLOR]
