Release Tradeskill recipes (max out Artisan's Prize) (4 Viewers) 4.07

having an issue with /mac ts/cleanupvw not recognizing the tradeskill bag in slot 1
from the tradesman INI "tsBags=|extraplanar trade satchel|"

slot1 ? that is the bag that is supposed to be empty so cleanup can use /autoinv to drop vendor bought items for you to sell, so that is not even checked
 
I've had problems using the guild mixing bowl, it just keeps looping through opening to experiment then closes. will this happen with all of the guild containers?

Guild containers a a pita, thought i had them all fixed seems not. Their names differ from what you target and what is show in the container window and can differ depending on guildhall type

Just pick a random sunrise hills to tradeskill in. the only problem there though is when you get stuck. maybe adding a waypoint, like the table, would make the moves more seamless?

nope inv slot 1, ill check in a bit

inv1 is any bag
inv2 extraplanar

took vendor bought items from bag2 and did /autoinv, did take tools which I am not impressed with, will be changing that.
think you misunderstood the config, it will only check bags whose names is in there.

how does gofarm work - is there a command to get my char to run out to someplace to kill and loot an item - or to forage for what is on my shopping list?
 
I keep seeing something about subroutine gofarm.

also another question.... I keep getting the message "You cannot combine items when your hands are full! your cursor must be free of items and money before you can combine items together in a special container." It seems to come up right after I've made a sub combine. - then my char will stand there and start going through recipes - does that mean that it started to make a recipe, but needed to make a sub combine first >> made the sub combine, but errored out before going back to make the original recipe? I'm ending up with lots of prepared meats in my bags that seem to be waiting to be made into next level recipes.

If I do have the sub combine done already, and I re-run the macro, will it make the next level up recipe first, or will it try to re-make the sub combine then the recipe?

The gofarm is just a piece of text that means you need a missing ingredient. No idea why you think its a subroutine.

The cannot combine is since server lag is so unreliable I click the combine button 2x so if you did make it fine, if not second time around it does. It does subcombine even if the higher level recipe cannot be made yet (missing ingredient). No I am not changing it to first run through all the subcombines to check if there is something missing before trying to make everything needed for the recipe.
 
ah, mis-read. found it while the text was stopped.... it says "end subcombine gofarm" ...... just eternally hopeful, I guess! :)

maybe we could all collaborate to build a list of areas to farm where we have found to be honey holes? like DSH for drake intestines? or the how the avatar rooms in plane of air are on a faster respawn rate for the gaseous concentrate and uhh the other drop from plane of air elementals.
 
Am I doing something wrong? I get a list of items and go to a vendor to do /mac ts/finditemv2. It buys all it needs from that vendor. When I go to the next vendor, it buys a lot of the things again that it just brought from the vendor before. I'm ending up with too many of the vendor items.
 
Not doing anything wrong, the finditem does not decrease the count of needed items when buying. Idea is that you check your bank/mules then buy from vendor and rerun the script. Intentional that it doesn't decrease the needed count.

Sorry another question. When I get a message such as "Keeping High Quality Ore Plate used for smithing". Does that mean it needs that for a later combine so I should keep it?

Yes, that's exactly what it means.
 
Some calculations seem off unless I'm missing something. It's telling me I need 141 magma crystals for smithing. These are to make liquid inferno temper. As far as I can see I need 1 temper for each of these plus rings/sheets. It takes 1 temper to make 2 rings/sheets:

How does it work out the amount of ingredients? It's calculating I need 141 magma crystals which is far more than I need.

Now as the recipe checks for the powdered sandstone, finds none/some, goes make a combine, check for required amount of powdered before next combine it will not make more than needed.

I go to the merchants such as Gerta and do "/mac ts/finditem name". It buys all the molds, patterns etc. I do this until there is nothing left on the list that is vendor buyable. I do "/mac ts/tradesman smithing learn" again and it just runs through giving me the same shopping list again without all the molds/patterns.

Sounds as if using as intended, so now it is debug time

in tradesman.ini set it to stop after 5 recipes cannot be made

Then send me a screenshot of the mq2 window so I can see what is going on can pm me.
in the mq2window it will also say what it is missing, do a check to see if you do have the items.
 
Feedback on Tigers problem.

Found that tradesman was not picking up that some ore was needed as subcombine was set to 1 (default value) and that the ore has a recipe and vendor item.
When an ingredient is made by a recipe no check is done to check if it is not also vendor sold (will be changing)

Nothing that he did wrong. I had a low default value and a bug.

Macro just sits and waits with items in the container.

If I remove the items from the container, nothing happens

If I remove some of the items and manually force a fail I get the message: "Something is wrong with the recipe or the macro, or maybe just a UI bug!" "marking it as learned to move past it" However, it loops back and continues to attempt the same combine.

I tried adding the recipe to the charname_server-ts-Recipes.ini and incrementing the tracker number in tradesman.ini past the recipe counter as a somewhat hopeful way of skipping it but it still catches on the next run. I considered deleting it from the recipe list but wanted to avoid that level of modification.

Equip your trophy. There are some recipes that require max skill and trophy just to attempt.

Trophy is equipped. If this is the intended function of the macro that's fine but I would expect it to skip the combine and allow you to come back to it later instead of preventing the other combines from working.

You could leave the materials for that particular combine in your bank

And if they're needed for other recipes? I thoroughly enjoy this macro and find it extremely valuable. I'm not here to complain but to offer insight on an issue I experienced with the goal of continued improvement. If this is the intended functionality that's fine I can live with it.

This should have allowed you to move past it, very curious why it did not.

My plan is to now catch the text that says you are too inexperienced then just move past it, on subsequent runs it will try again which I am fine with.
