Release Tradeskill recipes (max out Artisan's Prize) 4.07

With the Pottery is it possible for you to bin them based on whether they use the kiln or the pottery wheel? It will run through a batch then suddenly stop and force you to swap locations for one recipe as it is currently setup. Pottery and Baking are likely the only two where this would even come up. The macro then ends after you move back to the spot it wants you to be, unpause, does the combine and then ends.

Trying to do Fletching, it constantly stopped itself the other day, and when it would run it would put stacks of items over and over like it was trying to put them in for the first time but just making stacks. Also just the constant having to unpause it and it still won't work. /mqp, it beeps at me and stops, /mqp, it beeps at me.. etc. then on a magical restart of the macro it will start doing the stacking thing again. Is there a fix?
found that closing all windows, then just opening the container works for me

by bin you mean sort, yeah can do that

Yep, if you could have it check all of one container then the other that would make a difference.

darn it ! 1 step forward 3 back

Did you have the merchant open ? that message of the banker is just to let you know it wont try and get from banker, not auto running to banker/merchant yet.
So you run it 2x, once with banker open and once with merchant open, odd that it is not buying stuff, looking at it.

You ran the finditem from the character you are doing the tradeskills on ?

Hi - yes the merchant window is open (Blacksmith Gerta in POK) when i run the macro. Same character that created the shopping list from learn - am using commmand /mac finditem <my name>. Confirmed that shopping list ini is ok (see below)

Thanks for the list. I can only go wtf at the moment, will check whats going on when I back home tonight. I know Greta sells at least some of those items, maybe you are in her debt or she needs a hug first ? /kidding
Shared bankslots not even going to touch that ! Do not even know if there is a function in mq2 to query them

One day when I am old and grey I will learn to use varset/varcalc correctly, this should fix the merchant buying

460 recipes in the pottery wheel. moved so they get made first, most of the combines have the kiln firing part . Inventory space is a pita again

I'm also getting an error because every single "Bowstave" seems to be spelled "Bowstaff" in the recipe file and causing the recipe's to not work. I'm probably not the first person to report this bug but it's annoying. Plus still having a really hard time with it telling me to open the fletching table in experiment mode, i open it and open it again and try to open it just right so the mac will work again.

First one to report the Bowstave error, I plan to play around with fletching to see what is up. Just making sure you are opening a static fletching table ? I use the one in pok to test with.

Such a simple error on my part, had the fletching kit as the default and this setup simply does not work with containers on your (still trying to figure that out) changing it to fletching table. sincere apologies

Just downloaded and started with Research. The shopping list does not seem to go down into sub-combines, so the list does not include what I need to make the sub-combines.

Am I missing something or is there a way to get a list of the sub-combines into the shopping list?

make sure it is on in tradesman.ini

subcombine=1

Subcombine is set to 1

If I run the shop parameter, it does not go into subcombines to add to shopping list.

If I use the learn parameter, it does attempt to list subcombies but I am getting the following error:

[2019/12/03 13:55:19] [MQ2] Preparing for subcombines
[2019/12/03 13:55:19] [MQ2] 1: 7x Fine Vellum Parchment
[2019/12/03 13:55:19] [MQ2] Found learn
[2019/12/03 13:55:19] [MQ2] Error in recipe 0/10 items
[2019/12/03 13:55:19] [MQ2] Inform the maintainer.

The same error repeats for every subcombine.

The script ends with creating the shopping list with only the final combine items and none of the subcombine items.

Also would like to mention that it creates a <Character>-shop-research.log and not a <Character>-shop-research.txt file as mentioned in the macro output text.

On the pottery recipes, recipes using "Half moon clay stamp" are incorrectly listed as "Half-moon clay stamp"

Am loving the macro, really appreciate your hard work.

I normally switch between two computers (office and home). I thought I was clever by copying across the whole TS directory as I was already underway learning recipes but when I ran macro it started to remake stuff from the first run. Is there other files I should copy across?

I am getting "merchant does not sell xxx" for each item on the shopping list. Looks like it is trying to buy the correct things but it is not actually doing it.
nevermind: i see what iw as doing wrong

Smithing also having issues and saying that "Not possible to have zero required recipes" looks like some sort of error in the read end as the written file is there.

On the shopping/farming log it shows 0 / 3 x Fine Filament even through I have 3 fine filament's in my inventory when running the shop command. Not sure if this is intentional or not.

I will have to dig a bit seems that some of the recipes vanished after I reordered them. Hang on will be back..

I queries the eq server each time you use learn/shop so this should not be possible ! Only does unknown recipes

spelling mistake ? works for me /mac ts/tradesman smithing learn

Ah on the shop mode, will look at it. The shop logs lol will fix thanks

Fletching ? which recipe, looks like a spelling mistake

Not missing anything, my thinking on the shopping part is incorrect. rewriting it anyway. Will need to wait a bit till the rewrite is done before shopping subcombines will work. eta probably this weekend sunday. Intention was to run learn until you built up 50 missing items then go get then run it again repeat, seeing that people like to collect everything upfront.

Doing tailoring know it's unverified.

Shopping List:
0 / 1 x Excellent Animal Pelt
0 / 2 x Fine Filament
2 / 8 x Sullied Silk
1 / 6 x Thick Silk
0 / 1 x Othmir Fur
0 / 1 x Vial of Clear Mana
0 / 11 x Ice Silk Swatch
0 / 7 x Essence of Discord
0 / 1 x Pale Murkglider Shawl
0 / 12 x Sewing Needle
0 / 1 x Pale Murkglider Collar
0 / 1 x Pale Murkglider Belt
0 / 1 x Murkglider Boots
0 / 1 x Murkglider Gloves
0 / 4 x E'cian Ice Studs
As you can see sullied silk shows 2/8 I have 5 on me. I have way more than 1 thick silk etc. 27i excellent animal pelt's etc.

I was wanting to see of the first column should reflect how many you had on you so you can confirm you have all the items needed to do a learned run.

In the smithing recipes, should be ‘half moon trillion..’ not ‘half-moon trillion..’

Also noticed that shopping list doesn’t seem to be aggregating the missing components to get to a total needed. For example if component Y is needed , 4 x in recipe 1, 3 x in recipe 2, 1 x in recipe 3 it’s not correctly adding up to 8. Unverified but I think it’s counting the number of recipes it’s needed in, not a count of the number of times it’s needed in each recipe.

You are quite correct, saw that bug when rewriting it.

Couple of the Overlord conflagrant recipes not registering that there are Conflagrant Metal Sheets even though they are in the inventory and start being used a couple recipes later.

Has to be spelling errors in those recipes, have any id's for me ?

Most of the alchemy recipes I can confirm are present. I hit 350 yesterday -- most of the "bundle of xx" and "sprig of xxx" I had to manually buy from the vendor. For some reason those were not being purchased.
If it purchases those it is extremely easy to vendor your way to 350 - need a few dusts of alaris, chrononal resonance dusts, etc but mostly vendor stuff gets you there.

Will look into the bundles/sprigs sounds like something small. Glad to hear about the 350 ! Sounds like good news for the shamans to avoid some of the more tedious farming to max out their artizans.

BTW if anyone has the VoT expansion recipes I would like to provisionally add them. Will release them when xpac goes live in that case.

I have a question ? Ive been doing the research trade skill, this mac works great and its a big time saver. Is there away to skip the Empowering, Enchanted spell stuff, its for the caster classes to make. Seem to be making my shopping list very small since i cant create them. Thank you, this Mac is well worth the price, great job.

Can we have a way to manually exclude some recipes? There are many that are just not worth the effort. Once they are in the recipe queue, they stay there until you complete them.
Or-- can we manually delete them from the know recipes file?

should just be able to delete it from the recipe file, or set the container to Book

Same as above go into the recipe file and set the container as Book
Yep little hack workaround but hey it works

But I don't know why you want to skip them, they count towards the total and I made it on a melee class (enchanting gold etc)
