Release Tradeskill recipes (max out Artisan's Prize) (1 Viewer) 4.07

I mentioned it above, having an output of the newly learned recipes would be helpful. This way i can look through my bags and remove everything thats been made and move it off to a gimp some where. with stuff going in and out so much its hard to keep track of most of the time.
 
I haven't found it too annoying, the only thing I would recommend potentially for research is checking if you have the parts to do the missing subcombine rather then just skipping it at the time.
The problem with that is the time investment. It take 30 seconds to buy 100 Inks but 16minutes to make them at 1 every 10seconds. It is a time vs cost problem. This is highlighted by the research recipes as you need such a lot of inks/solutions. If I do make subcombines while learning recipes it will be a flag and need a bit of a rewrite on the macro itself. Will ponder it a bit.

Tip for using research with this... You're going to need to clean out everything (literally) and have 40+ slot bags if you want to avoid going to sell often.

It's getting a little messy with the parchments. I wish you could force them to be used for spells because the parchment mats are farmed and I don't want to vendor them

Having another character available to hold on to stuff for you helps too

I am changing the order with highest use first so hopefully this will get better. (next update) e.g not making all the parchments upfront
 
jande updated Tradeskill recipes with a new update entry:

Various fixes

Recipe loading speed
Ordered recipes by ingredients most used (should cut down on bag space needed)

Added a command /tradesman restart will restart from the first recipe, skip known recipes IF it was made by the macro. If you paused then made it by hand to learn you messed up.. don't do that.

I’ve just started using this and couldn’t get finditem to work on my bank or inventory after doing a tailoring shopping list. There was no error the macro just ended.

i also wondered if the macro looks at what’s available in your inventory first to prioritise which recipe to make, or does it make in alphabetical (or another order)

I will have to look at finditem again , neglected it quite a bit in getting recipes/speed working.
Order is most item used in recipes, doesn't check inventory to decide what to make.

Research 350 confirmed, there is 1408 recipes extra, that translates to 18 extra skillppoints.

the real pain of TS s is the components ..ie having them...farm them buy them unless the program can do that part for me....my TS will stay right where they are lol

Make sure the 'only display items I can use' is unchecked. If still a problem send me your <charname>-shop.ini just rename it for anonymity. My timing on the buying may be a bit too tight.

For those one you on research... doesn't the bags look pretty :woop:

Research it actually evolves the trophy. Still had the quest before I started the combines ended up with a level 7 trophy.
Brewing it does not.
Jewelcraft mine was level7 when I started .

that would be even better, if the mac deleted the item if its not trade skill flagged it skips a step of haivng to refrence some sort of output file.
 
Im still getting a problem grabbing an item from my bank - this time I am getting errors though "There was no container in slot <x>". I have bags in every slot, inventory, bank and shared bank.

Aaah I see the problem , seems there is 2 bank interfaces BigBankWnd 24 slots and BankWnd 16 slots
I made an assumption that it is BigBankWnd will need to fix it :D

Try this out please @Armyboxer99 if it fails send me a screenshot please, some debug info in there will make it spammy for now

Finditem is not buying the solutions to make the paper for research items (i.e fine runic spell tablet, fine vellum- those types of items).
It does seem to try and do the subcombine for the paper if I manually purchase it. While watching the MQ2 window, it looks like it is adding "fine spell tablet" to the shopping list rather than the missing item which is "fine spell tablet solution". I think that is where it is hanging up.

Also the new finditem will not buy from vendor. It says check banker (not open) then quits. This is after checking the banker

Please send me a screenshot of what it tried to make.

I think what is happening
try to make a spell using "fine spell tablet"
not finding any, add it to shopping

then at the end when doing subcombines it tries to make ""fine spell tablet" and at that point it doesn't add it the solution to the shopping list. Intentional behaviour, as it only allows 1 level subcombine deep.

I have some other ideas for improvements especially in situations like described.

I'm not at home right now, but that sounds exactly what is happening. On some TS like this and baking that have a lot of subcombines, it would be super helpful

Running it for a bit now. Very nice. Is there w way to turn on subcombines or shopping from vendors in pok from the list?
 
Does not autoshop (yet, manual action with /mac finditem with a merchant open) and the subcombines is 1 level deep (for now).
Setting the progress message to 1000 stepsize. when reading in that huge research list it help to reduce spam

auto shop and retriveing things from the bank would be massive for research. research in general just needs more attention. the shopping lists seem to take forever to gather even though i have 99% of the mats. maybe im missing something or doing it wrong.

Sorry for the delay, the updated finditem macro now retrieves item from the bank but it fails to purchase from the vendor now - getting error "Check Banker(not open)". The vendor is open.

darn it ! 1 step forward 3 back

Did you have the merchant open ? that message of the banker is just to let you know it wont try and get from banker, not auto running to banker/merchant yet.
So you run it 2x, once with banker open and once with merchant open, odd that it is not buying stuff, looking at it.

You ran the finditem from the character you are doing the tradeskills on ?

Playing with Pottery, its trying to make Unfired Simple Shaped Potion Vial set in the Kiln, should be in pottery wheel.

Same occurring with Unfired Crude Shaped Potion Vial Set

Same also with Unfired Makeshift Shaped Potion Vial set.

Macro keeps repeatedly trying to make Unfired Ornate Charm x3 despite it being already known. Because of no learned message, it isn't kicking to the next recipe.

Macro is doing the same with Unfired Elaborate charm x3 as well...




Additionally, you may need to put some modified logic in on the containers. While using the kiln had it pause because I wasn't on the pottery wheel for a recipe...

Got a question on research. is there a reason it's skipping sub combines like fine orphic card if i have the mats in inventory?

Recipe was already learned before hand. Not sure why it was glitching on it. Ill try that update on it.

I will have to mark it when it is learing a recipe or when it is needed for a subcombine, would clear up some confusion

Will need to run pottery myself to see what is going on, haven't verified all those recipes, still busy with baking
 
Trying to do Fletching, it constantly stopped itself the other day, and when it would run it would put stacks of items over and over like it was trying to put them in for the first time but just making stacks. Also just the constant having to unpause it and it still won't work. /mqp, it beeps at me and stops, /mqp, it beeps at me.. etc. then on a magical restart of the macro it will start doing the stacking thing again. Is there a fix?
 
Intricate Hammer Head Shaped Mold is incorrect. Lists 2 Quality firing sheets, correct recipe is only 1.

It isn't even set to do subcombines right now so that shouldn't even be going on. The recipe makes 3, it also is ignoring the 1 and 2x versions entirely.
