I went following your instructions and wanted to run all the trophy quests on an alt. I collected all the non bought ingredients first then used the command /mac tsc trophy all where you state, "Does all beginner trophy quests in West Freeport. (see instructions for requirements)"

She already had completed the tinker trophy and had picked up all the beginner trophies (but had never done them).

She ran to W. FP, and then picked up another set of trophy quests (which were higher now because my toon was level 100 ish in all skills). She then ran back to POK and the macro ended.

I deleted all the higher-level trophy quests she just picked up then decided since the mac wasn't going to run the quests I already had, I would do them one at a time. Reading through the comments, I found the command to do them each singly and started the tailor quest. I had given her at least 30 ingredients for each item needed (like spiderling silk) and to my dismay, she used up ALL the ingredients making sub combines before actually making the item she needed. UGH. Wasted 30 + spiderling silks :(

After realizing I needed to give her ONLY what was needed and no more, she proceeded to finish making all the tailoring combines without a hitch. Yay! Moved on to Pottery. During this, she failed one of the combines for the medium container. I thought I had read that you can re-run the mac and it will pick up where you left off so I assumed running the macro would run and make the one medium container but no, she started buying ingredients for items she already made so again I killed the macro and made it manually.

So, what I am asking is can you please have the macro run the quests after you pick them up, and ONLY make the sub combines needed instead of using all your ingredients. Also if re-running the macro, I can see what needs to be done and only do those instead of restarting from scratch.

I think this is an awesome macro just wanted you to see what I ran into the first time I ran this with a toon that was not level 52 in all skills etc. and had already picked up the beginner quests already but had not run them.

Thank you.

You also need a medium quality cat pelt to make studded boots. (according to EQTC.com) It is not on your inventory list. Oh, and the macro had my toon make 2 tattered shoulder pads but I only needed done ... since it converted all the spiderling silk into bandages (GRRRR) it did not make the other silk items needed so no tattered boots, bag etc were made.

Ran the smithing macro. It made only one bread tin, no skinning knives and one scaler. FYI.

Ran the research one. She is in some loop: making hundreds of pure water. Watching to see what she does after she runs out of the 50 gnomish heat sources she was told to buy ... she made 250 Pure water lol. Now she is advancing the script.

Really a head scratcher here,, after testing for hours on end, and on toons on end, everything worked perfectly.. so .. server update?

I just ran ...

/mac tsc tss all
/mac tsc trophy all
/mac tsc beginner research

and everything worked perfectly...

the toon had 2 left over vials of pure water when all was done..

note: if you don't have any water flasks, it will keep buying and trying, and if you are not fast enough it will drink your water and start the process all over..

if your already up to the masters trophy, is there a command that just completes the masters quests for the trophy instead of starting at the beginning.

It is capable of doing all trophies, it requires really 2 things, 1 the recipe file for each tradeskill, and the answer file which tells what to make and in what order.. but at present it does not do masters because these are missing..

is it possible for when you turn off feedme/drink to store the values so you can onexit put them back how they were afterwards?

Not even sure we need to turn it off, I will experiment and have it removed, and see how it goes..

I keep having issues in Abyssal Sea. I've only tried pottery so far, and I'm at making pots. It puts the ingredients into the kiln, but then won't combine them. It then picks the ingredients up, puts them back in bag. Then repeats putting them in kiln and not combining.

I noticed this happen to me a few times but mostly when I try opening a bag while program is running. Not sure if its related. Do you have anything else running while you are running the program?

I have CWTN's Cleric Plugin running but paused. I don't mess with anything while the TSC macro is going. I'm not trying to open bags or have conversations, I'm not minimizing EQ. Do I need to empty inventory of bags and run it out of straight inventory? In fact I might give that a try and see what happens anyways.

Is there anything else to your setup? custom UI, collection bags, etc?? If you made a level 1 toon and ran it, it would work all the way, actually, could you try that, just to see if it is account wide?

Using custom ui (fanrasui), and did have a collection bag. I took inventory down to just 1 bag for holding stuff like food, clickies. It is working, so must have been opening my bags that interfered with it.

It is 3.. or more parts..

1) add expert pottery ,expert toxicolgist, etc.. to TSC command set

2) create the recipe file for each tradeskill and trophy level.

3) make the answer file that "knows" the recipes and sub-recipes required to complete the trophy task.

After jeweling to 300 last evening, I have added a new command to an upcoming release of TSC.. sometimes you want to skill up and save the result to sell.. use case is definitely jewelry. I was making Velium Blue Diamond items, and they do not stack. So I had it make 20 at a time, sell them , and keep going until the trivial is reached. Right now it will probably make a couple extra combines after it reaches the result. The flow currently is:

Check for trivial, Buy 20 sets from vendor if possible, make the items, sell the items, start again.

Makes it bit more tolerable..

I plan to add code into TSC Core that will do an either or condition to say , did you make 20 Veils or did you reach the trivial.. SAVE THE PLATS!

We used fish rolls for the example, it is set to make 20 and the trivial is 82.. if it reaches either it sells what it has, checks the trivial and ends if met, if not it keeps going over and over..

I reused some code and just changed a variable in the core, there are other ways to do it, but I like routines and actions to be un-coupled so that any change affects only that thing, clumping a bunch of things together causes.. headaches..

So to reiterate, we have some item that doesn't stack but we need to skill up, and it is a waste to destroy it, so we set it to make 20. It will buy 20 sets from vendors and then make it until it reaches the make count of 20 or it reaches the trivial, reaching the trivial or count, sells what we got and ends the routine, if not, it buys some more and keeps trying.

for testing...

/mac tsc shopmss <ts.ini>

can change the command to whatever just this for now..

TSC_Core goes in the TSC folder
TSC.mac goes in the macro dir

I'll try it out for you, but what should it do (what will shopmss stand for, even if temp naming), also should I use it on a new type character or more established type TradeSkiller?
