Release Tradeskill Construction Set NeXt (1 Viewer) 4.1991b

Can you PLEASE change the code so that if the next combine is a blacksmithing combine, it does not swap out your Adamantine Hammer? Just move the check to the new combine.... Please??
The latest release should ameliorate the situation.. or at least that is the desire.

I'm going back looking at the other concerns.. (crescent reach elevator, stacks, etc...)

Trying to make a Fading Memory Charm of Security, I get the error below. When I do a search for the item, it returns 2 rows of results for each charm (not sure if that is part of the problem or not)

I re-installed TCN, and rebuilt the database, and it seems to have solved the problem. Not sure why it happened in the first place though.

It doubled up the components which made it exceed 10 per container, the underlying reason is guessing, but the end result is understood.

Please forgive me if this has been asked before, and let me know if there is another way to accomplish this that I have overlooked.

In the screen shot, you see that I am in Batch mode and have searched for "OVAL MOUNT" and have a list of several hits. I would like the ability to "Add All", if that is possible.

Now, (It's never just one thing, is it?) IF that feature were added, it would be supersized if there was a way to restrict, in Batch Mode text search, results to a given skill. For instance, if I search for "COPPER CONDUIT", the result includes Tinkering as well as JC recipes. Obviously you couldn't use "Add All" here.

Thanks again for this app, I find it tremendously helpful.

I wanted to add that I do know how to use SQL to generate the csv files for batches. But sometimes it's just a bunch of odds and ends and the the TCN UI is just better.

Thank you sir. Love the program.

Also if anyones just getting started with this I noticed you want to get at least 1 skill point into a TS before it starts to work. Was testing it to ensure it worked on an alt but he wouldn't start making anything with 0 skill. However at 1 it worked like a charm
Yes, visiting the GM is needed for some, I believe the some is spell craft. In the context of using the freebie quests. For standard if memory serves, it will "say" something in the text for TCN

Doing the Beginner Mechanist Test today, it was not completing the turn in for Gnomish Fireworks. Looking in my inventory I found numerous gnomish fireworks, with various effects.

Was finally accepted to complete the test.

if a Lua is paused you can unpause it. on discord you didn't mention it was paused

In order to get an updated version with recipes up to LS.. what is the process? I got my copy 2 years ago an i wanted to upgrade

Typically the way it works is when you get a new version of TCN it has the base data for recipes, and when it detects you have the LS update it does it automatically. If you have not updated TCN and have an "old" ls update, One way is to overwrite the artisan.db from the TCN set of files and ensure that the LS resource is "watched", this should trigger the update to the latest LS if something is missing. There are 2 ways to update one is "automatic" when you run TCN, and one is to manually update using the commands /Lua run lsdbupd when you are not running TCN.

I am not sure if i was using it wrong or missed the proper window but is there a way to add more selections in the research area to select batches of spells for example I power leveled my shaman from 50 to 80 in 1 day and bought all the basic spells then tried to get it to make all the shaman rk2 spells and I couldn't figure out how to just get shaman rk2 spells to show in a specific level range to select and make them all, and buy all the parts in one visit to the vendors, them make them at one time instead of 40 runs to the store to make them 1 at a time. In my experience the longer you are in POK letting a program run you to vendors to buy parts the more likely you are to get banned I would prefer to buy up all the items in 1 go with 10% extra items for failures and port to my guild bank and make them all there.

It gets very obvious when your character is taking the exact same path from the vendor to the crafting table with the slow /face towards the vendor and crafting table each time, 40 times in a row so i would hope to avoid those situations by making a set of items I want to make, buy all the items at one time with room for error then primary anchor to my guild and make everything there where there is less lag and fewer eyes. Any thoughts?

The main option for this was to mass buy a bunch of materials with TCN then use the Guild Hall option (TCN) so it crafted in there and sold everything there.

Or mass buying in POK and staying in POK and destroying or selling, generally staying in the same area (Riskier)

discretion and judgement is relegated to the user, making a few items vs a thousand...

it is best to stay outta sight as much as possible, POK crafting is an option but a calculated risk also.

The prize.db allows you to skip recipes or be specific recipes to make under a skill, this should be in the FAQ

I am having a tiny issue with the toon running the utility getting stuck on the kiln in POK when running to the mixing bowl from the forge. Do we still need to use the navmesh included in the zip file? This is on a fresh RGManager install where I am testing the process, so may not have dropped everything back where it belongs yet.

I just dropped the navmesh in and reloaded, and it seemed to help on the first run, so thats probably the issue. Could we get the base navmesh updated for this? Thanks!

Bug Report or planned bahaviour, I am not sure :)
If I generate a mass list for a TS, then switch TS from the dropdown, if I Export the data from the Missing List, it will write out the list of data with the name of the new TS from the list, not the one the list was generated form. I normally have this happen because I go AFK while either it is loading the list, or doing a run through the new TS selection, then I dont remember what TS the missing list is for.

Maybe clear the mass list boxes when we switch TS from the dropdown, to make it a bit less confusing? Really just a minor issue, I have just caught myself saving the lists with the wrong name a time or two before.

There is a navmesh in the archive that is downloaded for TCN from 2022, if it needs to be updated I can refresh the archive to reflect.

Thats what I used and it fixed the issue. I was just thinking the repository that holds the navmeshes should also be updated to make it easier for a fresh install. No biggie, unless it wants to over-write that version since it is a lot older.

I'm having a weird issue.

Heading to Stratos, clicks from PoK. Stands there then gates. Then runs to Po Traq again and repeat.

So just started happening but never before?

Will check the nav ids and other stuff..

wanted to have it make me all of my cut tools so i didnt have to go to stratos, and it crashed on me

Yeah I will have to check it out, for me, I just go to Stratos and get the tools once, and then they are used for eternity..

My quick look, looks like it has no provision to handle null, but I am suspecting fixing that will not be the panacea, but it's a start.

Correct just started. I make about 20 to 40 items a day and it started in the last few weeks. I had to run and buy a bunch of mats to get ahead of it.

/travelto works to all of the zones in the chain.
I had code that would take a few zones and guide you to pok to the lobby to the hall, because u can't just run from anywhere, and I was guiding the from anywhere
I suppose the next thing to do is add in drunkards, gate, and other stuff, if you are "way out there", kinda like I already did.

new thought, let me log in, and see what's what instead of doing the Dr. House differential..

Need to see, the affect everyone or the few or the one.
