Release Tradeskill Construction Set NeXt (1 Viewer) 4.1991b

I've downloaded the newest version 3.363b, and did /lua run tcgsetup once.

Then I bought the NOS recipe DB, downloaded it and tried with /lua run nosdbupd, but it shows this error

Did you get this via the launcher or download it manually?

You should have this folder in the Lua directory

I apologise if this has been answered before. Is there a way to modify what is destroyed as an example even if i have clicked destroyed it doesn't destroy the secret dawn stuff but i would rather destroy it. Can i modify anything to achieve this. I am also using this on 5 toons and have noted some items it destroys but it shouldn't i.e Scale temper, velium fish scales & restless velium fish scales.

So I can get the proper framing is this on Live/Test and I am presuming you are using Artisan mode. It is designed to not destroy secret dawn, faded, conflagrant type armors/weapons no matter what. There is also a global_destroy.csv file that is used to ensure certain things that do not get destroyed after crafting do, like inert poison grain, things that have little to no value and/or can't be used.

I also made a large table so that if an item is directly used in another item to achieve 350 it would not destroy it.

I did a quick spot check and Scale temper does not look like it is used in another Artisan recipe so it gets destroyed if destroy is on. The same applies to the scales as they are the 1st in the line of the final product.

What you are asking for is: destroy, but don't destroy my list which I assume should cover Standard and Artisan.

to be honest it not a big deal. i can destroy completed items via lootly and fish scales im not that worries as they are easy to come by. TY for response

Will now auto-update NOS if you have it and only if TCSNeXt has been updated.

However, if there are no entries, it will check to see if you have the NOSDB, and if you do, it will auto-install.

Since personal accountability has been dead for awhile now, I blame CWTN, he is the progenitor of the "no delay" policy. :)

I can just replace the section that ignores destroying the armor/weapons with a method to ignore whatever you don't want destroyed.
 
@jb321 If you are ever looking for more ways to leverage the awesome work/data you built in the DB... May I suggest adding a button to scan the Depot, and bank, for vendor bought trade skill ingredients, and an option to sell them back to the vendor? TS Depot space is limited, and we could use some help keeping it maintained.

I just added the option 2-3 releases ago to do a mass sell of everything you have in inventory to the vendor, if it is in fact vendor purchased.. It just sounds like an expansion on what is already available.
 
The SellTable is a mystery to me, are you confirming its already loaded with the vendor sold materials, and nothing farmed? If that's the case, just need to point it at the depot, and make trips to the merchant to sell when bags get full.

I was thinking that skipping ingredients used by favorite recipes might be a good idea, to hold the stuff intentionally stocked up on for consumable making in the field.

That is exactly it, the only caveat being only from TCSNeXt locations, this is a couple of posts back.. but it will sell 99% of all items that can be bought from vendors.. the 1% being Shard's Landing/OT2/ME2 and a couple of others...

TLDR: I took the complete vendor table TCSNeXt has and selected distinct items and then removed tome, spell, song and left the rest.

Well, there are many items been listed as Unknown sources, I looked up couple of them in ZAM, turned out they were from mob drop or class imbue.. So is this limited or some error maybe I set something wrong or no?

There are quite a few items, and the farm list is hand jammed by me. I have not added them all, as I add them the unknowns disappear.. however, some items can be obtained in many zones and the best zone and best mob are subjective.


A typical entry:

21957 Plane of Justice Farm locust|enervating

the locust|enervating is a hidden gem for potential use with farming tools.. like PocketFarm.mac

The next release will do away with not destroying secret dawn, faded, velium whatever , conflagrant armor/weapons.. you will now have the flexibility to determine exactly what you do not want destroyed!

you can use any text editor and just type in the item id and hit enter and type in another and hit enter..

example:

The IDs can be obtained via EQTraders.com or Lucy item DB, or somewhere else..

Why do I use ID's? I want to be precise and never run into this item and that item have the same name, which there are cases.

I also suspect the overall list won't be thousands of entries.

Lua tcn_libraries not found, but i have tcg_libraries.Lua in my tcn folder

nevermind, i see its /Lua run tcn now not /Lua run tcg
 
Fixed another issue no one saw.. hehe

It was more informational than anything, but wouldn't stop the crafting from happening..
 
Have about 1000 more entries to make for the farm table to be complete. At least for the Artisan stuff.
 
Just noticed when doing pottery that the run never made any conflagrant stuff. It wasnt listed in the unknown recipes after the run but when i checkked on http://eqrecipes.free.fr/ i hadnt made. I had to manually complete. Is this the place to add these or is there another thread

open your prize.db file with a DB browser..

Based on the order from the site, it would be ok to skip unfired if it is just going to make the fired anyways.

I set these to 1 on mine, I didn't want to make armor/weapons that I may want to sell or make for myself.
 
Not in pottery its crushed conflagrant diamonds i think it might be the Combine clay but that is NPC bought. Ill confirm in a few days when i do my next toon

Yeah I am not seeing them even after unskipping them.. investigating..
 
How the turns have tabled. My original dump from .fr does not have those..

At the time I dumped this, I figured ROS would be in there, I figured wrong.

This has the missing conflagrant recipes. It goes in the Lua\TCN\Working directory.. while you wait for the release.

While I was at it I updated poison as well..

It should be good up to TOL, mostly.

There is a disconnect between ID's from EQTC and .fr, but there are other things I need to look at also. The recipe is using the Fallen Dry Treant Branch..

Scratch that, I am just blind, also, there is a mechanism to abort after 10 tries.. testing the recipe now..

Recipe should be good now, after I finish up the farm table entries for blacksmithing I will do a release.
