Release Tradeskill Construction Set NeXt (1 Viewer) 4.1991b

Just updated, crashed to desktop when running Artisan, Alchemy - generate list of materials.
Is repeatable. Looks like it runs through all the recipes, gets to the end, and crashes the client before populating the list of materials.

Is there a log somewhere I can check for details?
This is known and actively being investigated, but not limited to TCSNeXt only.
 
Thanks for the rollback. Got some skillin done today. Speaking of: The NOS recipe for Champion's Restorative is broken.
 
Tiny bug report:

Trying to run Beginner's Jewelry Trophy on a new character gets the script confused

  • First script tries to run to West Freeport,
  • then just before zoning realizes it needs to hit Abysmal Sea first as character has 0 skill in Jewelcraft.
  • Runs from POK->GL->Nedaria->Abysmal Sea grabs Jewelry kit and 20 of beginner rings.
  • Scripts emits message that it does not know where it is (it is in Abysmal Sea)
  • While running in Abysmal it hits Gate - Fails,
  • Stops and Hits Origin - Runs Back to POK from Crescent->Blightfire
  • In POK it starts crafting begginner rings WHILE RUNNING to West Freeport
  • Almost gets to West Freeport and then gets stuck around 8 skill.
  • Here I restarted the script and it started trying to get back to Abysmal while Running it still tried to do recipe..this is where I stopped it again.

I would think the bug is somewhere in the Abysmal Sea part, it should have got to 50 there and only then tried to get to POK -> Freeport

Once I did skillups to 50 manually and restarted script.
Rest of script worked wonderfully just like before on another character.

This was on

Level 71 enchanter with 60AA
  • Level 3 Salvage
  • Level 4 Jewelry Mastery
  • Gate AA and Runspeed 5 AA
  • Bound in Guild Lobby
  • 300k platinum
  • 0/300 jewelcraft

Because change is inevitable.. it is not registering the GOD/TSS scripts running based on .. you guessed it .. changes..

I will put out a release with the alpha version of this routine, the table is part of the artisan.db for now, but in order to have it customized (IE not erased when TCSNeXt updates) it needs to be just like the prize.db a separate file that never is updated except by you.

Actually. Out of the gate, you will be able to customize the sell.db file. It will auto-extract upon running so no extra work is required.

Purpose: to sell every vendor sold item in your local inventory..

Setting ItemNoSale field to 1 will ensure that item does not get sold accidently.

Can Mass sell, only sell things you can buy in POK? Kinda like the only buy from certain zones selection. I don't want to sell all my stacks of 1,000 of the stuff I had to run to Timourous Deep, Cobalt Scar, Brells Rest, Stratos, etc.... I bought stacks of this so I didn't have to run back there.
You are in control of your own destiny.. it doesn't auto-sell, you have to trigger it, there are around 2970 items that you can sell, but it is up to you.. via sell.db

They are specifically from zones that TCSNeXt can go to.. Yes there is someone in the rafters shouting but it can go to OT2, or Shard's Landing, blah blah, well if you can make it there alive, 100% of the time, I would do it, with the caveat you are not spending plat, or have 3 toons camped there for a CF, basically if you can't get there from POK/POK stones. I am not too interested.

Includes, but not limited to, Stratos, POK, WFP, POT, Bazaar, Barren Coast, Thurgadin

Can I ask here how to open this? I am pretty new to this DB thing. I know where the file is, but not what to open it with.
I included DBBrowser in the setup, but there are others.. that are but a google search away
 
Could you elaborate, I looked at the recipe in the DB, on ZAM,and EQTC, they all match up...

When I try to make one (Champion's Restorative), it says I'm missing the ingredient "Champion's Restorative". Which is not even a row in the MasterCompTable.

I see that you have the same RecipeID for both the ToL Recipe, and the SoL recipe in the MasterRecipeTable. EQ uses the same name for these 2 potions, but have different ingredients and different spell effects.

A quick query on the table shows that recipe 0, 31593, 31594. 31595, 114409 and 99964900 are the only dupes in the database.

Anything that has the same recipe ID in the recipe table is verboten! (unless it is 0) So whatever the TOL version was looks to have been erased, but the entry remained, creating 2 recipes with the same name but 2 different expansions. Looks like there a couple of differences between the two.

Need to lock down an ID for one of them so they won't conflict.

the TOL version is DNC.. or needs some unlock..

Been over a year, so either the NOS version is the one, or the TOL version is still being "worked" on, or option c

Having problems running, as every time I /Lua run tcn I get a prompt to install a script, and when I click install I get an error:tcnerror.jpg

Also, from the message it appears to be wanting to install sqllite3, is there a way to manually bypass this requirement or install it without the script?

For those farming Windstones.

Grimling Forest! Set up at the entrance to the caves to Acrylia Caverns.

I used PocketFarm.mac for about 1k radius and after maybe eight hours total had 200+ Windstones.

Ahh ok, verboten = bad. I deleted the ToL row from the DB, saved, and viola, the NoS recipe works now.
 
The skills the script has linked to the trophies seems off.

Selecting "Beginner Fletcher Test" when you don't have fletching skill to 50 causes you to run to abysmal sea and work on baking.
Selecting "Beginner Baking Test" when you don't have baking skill to 50 causes you to run to abysmal sea and work on fletching.

Apparently this has been awry for who knows how long, but only affected when doing the trophy quest, but doing the quest in GOD works fine.

Did you have these on you or make them prior, or get them from somewhere else..that message is intended to state you did not get the task update..

The judge won't accept it if it is not updated in the quest log.

Just updated, when Craft-->Standard, qty 100, it makes 10, If I say qty:30, it makes 3. I think its trimming the last digit off the quantity.

Update: I see you updated 7min ago, I may have updated before that.

How many do you have in inventory already?

It adheres to the make count.. so if you wanted 20 and it made 17 the next time around it would only make 3 overall..

The other factor is yield.. if you want 100 and the yield is 4 it will make it 25 times..

Also, it ain't chopping anything off the end..

Nothing on the character prior to starting. The last items were made, but still in bag. Manually handed them to judge after error. and updated.

I haven't been to my go to in awhile.. lag.. unless your ms is 50 and under? or lag spike.. the wind was wrecking my Internet the other day and I would definitely blame that...

Yeah I just ran the jewel trophy quest, no issues.. If it isn't lag..

I've downloaded the newest version 3.363b, and did /Lua run tcgsetup once.

Then I bought the NOS recipe DB, downloaded it and tried with /Lua run nosdbupd, but it shows this error
